H.F. Bulifant is a team of consummate professionals. In October of 2011 we suffered severe water damage at our house. Sometime during the day while we were at work a pipe fitting failed on our toilet. The damage we came home to was unimaginable. At the recommendation of our insurance agent and a couple of other referrals, we called H.F. Bulifant. The owner's son and vice president, Fletcher showed up the next morning and spent well over 2 hours in our house assessing the damage. He was very honest about the severity of the damage and his estimate of how long we would be displaced from our home. His honesty in this regard allowed us to start planning right away. Fletcher worked tirelessly with our insurance adjuster, and the ServPro project manager to coordinate repairs. He worked with Kathy and I to coordinate contractors, pick out new floors, paint, and carpet. He did a great job of making sure we knew the status of repairs throughout the 2 month repair window. I stayed actively involved as the repairs were happening and had a chance to speak with just about all the sub contractors that were in our house. All were professional, respectful, and performed high quality work. At the end of it all, Fletcher and his crew got our house put back together better than new. He did several simple things like relocating a smoke detector that was placed too close to our kitchen, and moving an electrical outlet and cable outlet up a wall for a TV I had mounted. This summer we noticed an area where water had pooled on the second floor was starting to creek badly. I called Fletcher and he came out and took and look at it and repaired that. This was several months later and at no charge to Kathy and I. This is the kind of great service your just don't see anymore! I have recommended Fletcher to others in need of contracting services and all have had positive experiences.
