Description of Work: Replaced hose bibs on 2 outside faucets, had a pipe come loose under the house, and replace bulb in toilet. The repairman was knowledge and very helpful.

Description of Work: We got the water heater/plumbing inspection deal from Angie's List. The appointment-setting process was pretty painless, as was the inspection itself. My only suggestion would have been to give us some sort of report in writing, as opposed to just a verbal report of the inspection results. Thank you!

Description of Work: Fixed dripping faucet, unclogged slow drain, checked pilot light in hot water heater, drained hot water heater, fixed leaking toilet. All work was completed satisfactorily, but some jobs required multiple visits.

Description of Work: I asked for a second opinion on replacing a part that another heating company said was going to break anytime. The technician found nothing wrong with the part. I will sign a contract with them when my contract is up with the other company.

Description of Work: Both Angie's List and Foster's Plumbing ought to be ashamed to call a visit to give an estimate a "service call", but no one seemed the least bit apologetic or remorseful. That is borderline fraud and thankfully I was promised a full refund but no excuse for misleading buyers intentionally.

Description of Work: Cold water flow at my sink was down to a trickle. The plumber discovered that the pipe nipple was badly corroded and replaced it. Problem solved. Total time about 1 hour.

Description of Work: They repaired a leak in the 2 upstairs bathrooms. Replaced the stems and hardware to turn the hot and cold water on in the shower and bathtub. They used the same equipment for both sides so the direction that you have to turn the water on is backwards. They were more interested in getting us to upgrade with modern equipment which would be more expensive and require us to hire someone to redo the tile. Would not use them ever again.

Description of Work: when the toilet was flushed, I had a loud vibrating sound in my pipes (that could be heard throughout the whole house). This went on for about two weeks until i saw a great deal from Angie's List. So I decided to call Foster's Plumbing (short notice), the told me they didn't think they'd be able to send someone out that day but they'd do the best they could to try. The next thing I know, I got a call from Foster's telling me there was a plumber in my area and he'd arrive in the next 10 min, her arrived in about 5. The plumber John C. came in, i explained the issue and in approximately 20 min he was finished. He even took the time to give me advice on some other plumbing concerns I had. In my book Foster's get's high marks for Quality, Punctuality, Price, Responsiveness and Professionalism.
