As a mulit-year Super Service Award Winner, Foster Plumbing & Heating is a family-owned business has been helping homeowners stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter since 1989. We have been in the industry since 1946. We pride ourselves in treating our customers and our staff fairly. For years Foster Plumbing & Heating has been servicing the Richmond area with quality and professional care. Description of Work: Service was performed on the same day I called. They fixed a leaking toilet, a clogged drain and repaired a leaking valve on the bath tub. The plumber was very professional and personable. I would definitely use Foster Plumbing again.

Description of Work: Stopped master bedroom toilet from running. Installed wrong flapper but came back immediately to replace. Toilet still is not working correctly as I have to hold down lever for it to flush completely.

Description of Work: The original plan was to put in a new kitchen sink, faucet and disposal; as well as a faucet in the bathroom. I supplied all of the items. We discovered that the sink we had purchased was too deep for the waste lines coming out of the wall, so we opted to just replace the disposal and the two faucets. He didn't use all of the new parts that came with the disposal. He left the old sink flange and gaskets in place and just bolted on the new disposal. The old parts he left in place are 23 years old and he took the new parts with him. When I contacted the company they said they would get the unused parts back to me. The lift rod running to the cam in the stopper assembly in the new bathroom faucet is tilted 10 degrees from vertical. The kitchen faucet cost $237 to install and the bathroom faucet was $115. The difference being explained as primary and secondary. The installation of the disposal was $155. I paid $39 for $100 worth of repairs. Taking off the $100 from total of $507 left a balance of $407. $39 + $407 makes for a pretty hefty bill of $446.
