They performed all services in a timely manner.

The service was professional and on time. However, the company was higher priced than the one I have used in the past. Previous company took the time to show me what they found, did, etc and give advice as to maintenance, etc. - even checked my filters. This company checked the unit but did not check filters and did not give me any feedback other than that everything looked fine. Sea

Two people showed up . They looked at all parts, cleaned and made adjustments where needed.They were here for about an hour.

Arrived at scheduled time. Professional service from the first second. The electrician installed two thermostats and instructed me how to use them. Quick and proficient!

The plumbers arrived on time and were extremely polite. They explained everything they were doing as they did it and showed me potential problem areas/explained situations very clearly. They cleaned up everything as they left. Job was done very well.

The installation went fine. The price was comparable to another company I called. The installers were on time and cleaned up the mess. It was odd that I had to fill out the survey rating the installer in front of the installer. Installer stated that we would get a follow up visit from someone and that person would bring the air filter (they did not have the particular size needed in stock - granted, it is an odd size not available at the local home depot). In the meantime, I bought the size I needed on-line and the unit seems to be working just fine.

The two plumbers arrived on time and did the job was done in less than a hour. One plumber took care of the water heater and the other one did the inspection. I was worried that a lot of problems would be found as this is an older home but the plumber said that everything looks great. This was a very good experience and plan to call Foster's for any future plumbing needs.

The tech was on time. Nice, professional, informative, gave me some tips on how to get better performance from my system. He showed me how I had accidentally done damage to a part by improper maintenance. He had a positive reaction when my two big dogs came into the room. It was a very good experience and worth the money. He did also advise me on some possible future maintenance needs.

Purchased the BD and were here for an hour and did a great job.

I called to schedule a date and time for this service, and was unable to get a specific time window, but I did receive a call as requested, 30 minutes prior to the workers arriving. The job went pretty well; my water heater was drained and refilled, and my plumbing was inspected. They did not find any leaks, with the exception of an outside faucet. They did provide me with a quote to either replace the faucet or washer, but I just asked them to turn off the water to that faucet. The reason for the "B" grade is that they inadvertently left my water heater leaking water from a loose valve. There was a small amount of water in the pan when they left, which I assumed dripped from the hose when it was disconnected. I cleaned it up but discovered more water there the next morning. When I called to report what had happened, they were very responsive and came right back out to tighten the valve that was left loose and there was no more leaking. I did appreciate the prompt response, but I do think they should probably have noticed this before they left. Overall, it was a good deal and I would hire them again.

Very good. Used Angies List for the purchase of the flush and general inspection for $59. Had several other projects in mind (toilet repair or replacement) before Glen from Foster's came.

Scheduling lady said there would be a 30 minute window to get home to meet the tech's since they couldnt guarantee a specific service time. This worked out great so you dont have to sit around waiting. She called and they were actually on the road in front of my house so I rushed home to get there which was ok since I live with in 5 miles. Two tech's were there waiting, Jesse and David. They were polite and professional. I asked Jesse if I could watch the entire process of the inspection and cleaning. He was more than happy to accomodate my request. I asked many questions just to familiarize myself with the furnace itself. He explained everything in detail which I was great! He showed me readings on all the various parts and made adjustments where needed. One part need to be replaced - a capacitor- He showed me the readings on ours and then did readings on the new one. I felt very comfortable that they were on the up and up. When they were done, Jesse explained the company's service agreement program in case we were interested. Both he and David were very nice guys. They took their time and you didnt feel like they were rushing through the process simply because it was a Big Deal purchase. I plan to contact this company to set up the service agreement for both the Heating and Cooling .

Both technicians were professional, courteous and informative during the installation of a Honeywell digital, programmable thermostat. They not only programed the thermostat for summer and winter conditions, but also explained how to readjust the settings, if necessary. In addition, the thermostat can be programmed separately for the five-day work week and weekends. Now, my house will be climate-controlled in an energy efficient manner, saving on utility bills throughout the year.

I bought this as an Angie's List Big Deal. It was definitely worth it. The guys that came were very personable and professional. They explained my product and purchase to me and even made a couple of recommendations on how to get the most out of my upgraded thermostat. They had my old one off and the new one on in no time at all. They didn't object to my dogs checking them out. And they stayed a few extra minutes to make sure it was working correctly and cycling on and off properly. I would definitely use this company again without hesitation.

I contacted them in the morning and the scheduler worked with me to make an appointment that afternoon. They called me one hour prior to the technician arriving in order to allow me time to get home from work. The technician was on time, professional and conducted a check of the entire system before presenting me with my options. Once he diagnosed that the compressors needed a charge he told me that he could conduct a leak test, but did not think it would be prudent at this time until it was determined if they lost refrigerant due to them being idle for several months prior to us buying the house. I have to respect this kind of honesty due to some contractors looking to get every penny that they can. Based on my experience with Foster Plumbing and Heating I will call them again if service is needed and more than likely will sign a service contract with them to maintain my systems. Overall an excellent experience, fast and courteous service is hard to find and these guys are on the ball.

The job went very well. They provide very good service. They have a well experienced staff. I have used them for several years, and the people that have been with them, have been with them a long time.

I disliked their service, because it was too expensive, and they were here for fifteen minutes to tighten one screw, and they charged me $126. I would never use them again.

Furnace stopped working last night. Called at 7:30 this morning and they were at the house by 9:30am (without listing this as an emergency service call). Service tech was extremely polite & professional. Diagnosed the issue in seconds (pressure switch) and with one touch furnace was working again. He said the switch may work for 6 days or 6 years and it was up to us whether to replace it for $250. We opted to replace it (anyone else notice how cold it was last night in RVA)? He retrieved part and had it replaced within the hour. Total bill was $251.

The interaction was very good. They told me what the issue was and they gave me several options. I wound up using a much less expensive option than it might have been and they suggested it. They were trustworthy and reliable.

It was just fine. They are a great company.
