It was very good. He came out and did what he said he was going to do. I had no problems with them. He also replaced a valve on the water heater. They got the job done in about 90 minutes because they had to drain the tank, then re-fill the tank, and then check to make sure it was working properly.

We were extremely happy with the service, for the technician went above and beyond our expectations.

Fosters was offering a special to inspect and flush the house water heater. The technician advised that athge heater was in too fragile a state to sustain and flusch and recommeded leaving it alone unitl we were readu y to replace it. Whitel there t he took care of two minor plumbing issues as well, He was competent, fast and courteous. We will definielty use Foster's again.

The service turned out very well. They did a great job and they were on time. They quoted additional work and they got that done in a timely manner. Their response was excellent and they took us around the home and they let us know what they had done. They tried to salvage the water heater but it was too far gone for that to happen.

From initial assessment to the water heater installation everything went smoothly. I so appreciated the thought and time Paul put in to making sure everything was installed neatly, correctly and up to code. They even came back out at no charge to show us how to up the temperature on our water heater since it wasn't as warm as I normally like it for my showers. There was a miscommunication regarding the fact that we had dual heat so they were unable to perform the complete task of inspection ... however, they were very quick to offer a refund for the misunderstanding. I used them again later for a plumbing service.

I was very pleased with them. They did everything they said they would do and were very thorough. While he was here, he fixed my kitchen plumbing (though there was an additional charge), and even replaced the flapper in my toilet free of charge.

After purchasing their deal from Angie's List, I scheduled an appointment for Foster to come and check the plumbing in our house and ensure the water heater was in proper working order. Paul and Blake showed up right on time, with a courtesy call to let me know when they were on their way! They performed a full and thorough inspection of all of the plumbing in the house, including under the crawl space as well as the gas lines and the water heater. They were very professional, courteous and were able to answer all of my questions. We have been having issues with our water heater, which is why we purchased this deal which included a water heater flush, and they made sure to fix the small leak we had and gave me several options as far as long term repair was concerned. Upon completion, they went over the check list with me and left without a trace of them having been here. They were also kind enough to send us a thank you card in the mail for using their service, and we are certain that if any plumbing needs arise in the future they will be the first company we call.

Went very well. Everyone should get their water heater drain once a year. The young man even helped me change out the heating elements that I purchased. Also a good time to replace when getting water heater drained.

Steve came out and told me the water heater was to old and flushing wouldn't help so, I had him adjust the temp down to apx. 120 degrees. I had a small leak in the kitchen faucet. He checked it and told me I needed to replace it with a delta because mine had a 1 piece cartridge and couldn't be fixed. He quoted apx. $344 if he replaced it and apx. $266 if I bought the faucet (didn't say what model, just a Delta brand). I thought the price too high so, I coated the cartridge with vasaline and slowed the drip by 90% (tiny drop every 2-3 minutes). This will give me more time to decide on a new faucet and a new plumber.

The plumber arrived on time and began with an inspection under the house and water heater flush. He was in the crawl space under the house for about 10 minutes. When he came inside, he asked if I was having any problems and I told him I thought the washers in a bathroom faucet needed to be replaced because it was hard to completely turn off the faucets to keep them from dripping. He checked these and agreed and quoted me a price of $83. I think this was high. He said it would take about a half hour which equates to about $160 per hour. Since he was already at the house, there would be no trip charge. Because I really wanted the problem corrected, I agreed, although I told him I thought $160 per hour was a high rate. He said that they don't charge by the hour but by the job. He finished the job in under 10 minutes. So it actually equated to about $480 per hour ($80 times 6). Even if they charge by the job, in my opinion, changing washers is a very simple, most basic plumbing job. Also although this is advertised as a comprehensive plumbing inspection only the pipes under the house were inspected. There was no inspection of any interior plumbing other than the faucet I pointed out. I assumed that all faucets as well as under the sink, behind the washer, etc. would be inspected. Also, when I had my furnace cleaned by Woodfin, the serviceman told me I had a leaking pipe which was why I wanted this inspection in the first place. I told the plumber this and he said he didn't see anything. So which service person is correct? I still don't know. This is not a comprehensive inspection Basically you are paying $49 to have your hot water heater flushed.

Guys were a little late but not a huge deal. They were very professional and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Technician was on time, very nice and explained everything thoroughly. The office stayed in touch to insure I knew a very accurate time of arrival.

Complicated job, retrofitting heat pump to existing gas furnace to create a dual system, a/c, heat pump with back up gas furnace. Too early to tell, but seems to be working great. Replaced all old heat ducts with new insulated ducts. Tight crawl space. Price was better than others.

Paul, the technician arrived on time at 7:30am.. The young man answered all my questions about the hot water tank and gave me suggestions as to how to extend its life. He checked my crawl space for leaks and all my faucets. I asked him for pricing on replacing to bathroom faucets and the sill c*** on my outside water connection which he explained to me in detail. I will contact him for this work.I will recommend him to my Condo association board as an A+ plumber.
