They were on time and courteous. They did everything we hoped they would do.

The provider arrived on time and was friendly. He fixed an issue with a leaky water valve by the washer and provided me some tips to avoid recurrence. There were a couple of other issues that he took a look and advised me on, but I declined to get them addressed immediately.

one of the seals on the toilet of my spare bathroom was leaking. I thought it was the pipe in the wall but he said fixed one of the seals and it hasn't leaked since. I also wanted to know how much it would cost to have some fixture replaced and he some suggestions of how to make the changes without breaking the bank. He was a great guy! and very helpful.

They were there about 15 minutes. Job was done okay but I wasn't impressed with the technician and his lack of explanation as to what needed to be done and that there would be additional cost.

Well, it was about 4am New Year's Day when the pipe coming from the wall into the water heater came apart and water went everywhere... I cut the water off and tried in vain to put it all back together. After about 4 "showers", I decided to look for an expert. Thanks to Angie's list, I came across Foster plumbing and heating. I called and found out that John already had an early morning appointment, but I would be second on the list. Now, we're talking New Year's Day! John finally got done with his early appt and then called me for my address. He drove right over just as he said. We talked about different options and we both agreed that the people who had installed the water heater were cheap contractors (from Sears) and did a terrible job. I agreed to let John cut out all of their disgraceful work and do it right. John did an absolutely awesome job. It looks perfect and 100% professional. I was very impressed with his work. As for the $360 bill, I thought it was a bit high but let's not forget that it was a holiday, after all. It always costs more during those times. Overall, I am very pleased and confident that I will not have to worry anymore about those pipes. I recommend John for all your plumbing needs.

Everything went well except the technician adjusted the water tanks on my toilets and the water levels have been off ever since. Not really sure why he adjusted them but he said the water levels in the tank was high but afterwards when you flushed them there would not be hardly any water in the bowl. I had to readjust them but its still a little off. But it still was a good value for me to drain the sediment out of my hot water tank (I have never done it) and to make sure the pipes under the house were not leaking.

Foster's is now my service provider for all things plumbing and HVAC! I purchased a deal to have the furnace tune up performed. During the service call, we mentioned that we were having an issue with the gas furnace cutting out and coming back on a split second later. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem as the gas valve going bad. I had already had a widely advertised HVAC company make two service calls last winter that failed to fix the problem and give me reasons that truly insulted my intelligence. I was hoping that Foster's could find the cause of the problem and they did as soon as we mentioned it! The total cost for the tune up and to replace the gas valve was $492 (an additional $381.00 for parts and labor to have the gas valve replaced). The part had to be ordered but the part and technician were back two days after the first visit to take care of the problem. We are extremely happy with the professionalism, timeliness, and expertise that Foster's gave us and will be happy to refer them to friends.

I needed my kitchen and bathroom faucets replaced, and ran across a $39 Angie's List deal from Foster which waived the service call fee and included $100 in labor. Since I was providing the parts, I figured that (after discount) it would cost perhaps an additional $100-200 in labor to get the work done. When scheduling an appointment, I was told Foster could not provide a "window" within which a plumber would arrive unless I booked the first appointment in the morning, at 7:30AM, so I went with that option. (It was implied that they expected you to wait around all day for them to show up otherwise.) The plumber arrived on schedule with a book under his arm that listed standard prices for each service to be rendered. It quickly became apparent that each and every price on the list was inflated by $100 labor. For example, it was $215 to replace a bathroom faucet, but "only" $115 if it was done in conjunction with a kitchen faucet, which was $245. So, including the $39 I paid the Angie's List "deal," Foster's wanted $399 in labor (after their $100 discount!) to replace two faucets, twice the top end of what I'd expected to pay. I politely told the person they had sent that I was not interested in any such "deal," and sent him on his way. Knowing what I do now about their pricing policies, I would encourage anyone who is thinking of doing business with Foster to get a quote in advance and compare their prices to those of other reputable plumbers in the area. I for one am not going to ever use them again.

I moved into a new house in August 2014 and found out the house had ONE outside hose bib. I wanted one installed in the back of the house so I could hose off the deck and water plants. Foster arrived as scheduled, installed a heavy duty frost proof hose bib. This is the best hose bib I've ever seen. Very heavy duty. The technician was very professional. I would definitely use them again and I would definitely recommend Foster to anyone. I called them back for other services which I've covered in a separate review.

I just moved into my house in August and with cold weather approaching I felt that I'd be wise to have the gas log fireplace inspected/serviced. I had no idea how old it was or when it was last used. John did a great job. He cleaned and serviced our gas fireplace and had it working great.

I had Fosters out previously to install a hose bib. I was looking for a company to do the Semi-annual HVAC inspection and had put a call into another company I found on Angie's list. After a week they had not returned my call so after my excellent experience with Foster's I called them back. They were currently running an Angie's List Big Deal for the HVAC service I wanted. I have 2 units so I purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List (WHILE I was on the phone with them) and we scheduled it immediately for that day. As before the technician (a different guy than the one who installed the hose bib) was very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Foster's to anyone.

I had Foster's out in early Nov to service and inspect my gas fire logs. About 20 days later the unit just died from old age. I called Foster's and told them the unit stopped working and they sent John back out and he spent about 2 hours trying to get it running again. He even went out and bought a part. They did not charge me for this service at all. In the end we agreed to pronounce the system beyond repair due to old age. John quoted me a price to install a new system, I found a new system and once ordered I called Foster's and we scheduled a date and time for the installation. John arrived promptly and had the new system up and running in no time and it is beautiful. John is very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him or Foster's to anyone.

Everything went smoothly. We were called as they were on the way. They arrived on time and answered all our questions. They were very knowledgable and helpful. I doubt we ever use any other company for our plumbing needs.

The service went very well. The $39 of the big deal covered the service call, and I got $100 credit off the bill. Mr Foster lives up the street, and I see his red truck passing by here every morning.

The dispatcher called me the morning they were due to come out to let me know they were on the way, but running slightly behind. They arrived as she had promised. I told them what my issues were and they gave me prices. In a matter of three hours, they had removed the two broken toilets and hot water heater and installed the two new toilets and new hot water heater. They also waited around to make sure that I had hot water before they left. I had never used Foster Plumbing and found them on Angie's list. I would highly recommend them and would surely use them again in the future.

The service turned out great. There was an additional charge on top of the $39 Big Deal. It was like another $30 and that is because I needed something fixed which normally would have cost over a hundred dollars. I have no dislikes with them. I really like Foster Plumbing. I have actually been using them for fifteen years now and I have always been pleased with their service. I have not had any issues, no negative issues. I would most definitely use them again in the future.

What I like about the company is that the people that have been there have been there for a long time. They do not have a high turn-over as far as their workers. They are professional. They are always on time. They respond quickly whenever you need them. I have been having the same technician that comes out. That says a lot to me when a company does not have a high turn-over. That says a lot to me about their quality of service. There were times where I had to have emergency things done or inquired about and I thought the price was like kind of high. Like one time, I was asking them for a price on replacing my fixture and I thought their price was a little bit high as compared to other plumbers. I would definitely use them again.

I remodeled a bathroom myself, and ended up with a small leak at the trap under the shower. I figured I?d call in the professionals rather beat my head against this. Their guy came out and proceeded to tell my wife (I was at work) that the only way to fix this was to break up the brand new tile floor in the shower because it was welded PVC. The estimate they gave me was $450 not including repairing any of the tile damage or replacing the ceiling, that was all my responsibility. This estimate was to remove and re-plum a PVC trap and run it into the main drain line, total run was about 2 feet. I sent him on his way and spent less than 5 minutes on YouTube to figure out how to remove the PVC from the drain assembly without damaging the drain or the shower floor. I ended up doing the work myself for about $38 in parts. They charged me $126 for the visit, in which they did nothing but give bad advice. As an added benefit I scheduled them a week in advance, and took a day off to be home when they came for a morning appointment. They called late in the day and rescheduled to the next day.
