Had a pipe bust in the ceiling of my 1st floor powder room from freezing. I called Fosters around 11am and they told me somebody would be able to come out that day and would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. I called back around 4pm just to double check tha that somebody would be able to come out and was assured somebody would be out, in fact I was next on the list. Approx. 6:15pm I received a call that the tech was on his way. He arrived at 6:45. Very professional and had the issue fixed promptly. I would definitely use this company again.

I had two pipes break on Sunday morning. Fosters was quick to respond to the message I left as well as get a plumber to my home. The repair was done quickly and professionally, the only reason I did not give them an A on price is that is was steep for the repair, but then again it was on a Sunday. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

We contacted Foster in response to the Angie's Deal, pay $39 for $100 plumbing services. They responded right away, even though our email said it was not an emergency. We set up an appointment for 2/19 at 7:30 am. Jacob arrived promptly. Our original request concerned the toilet in our master bathroom, which ran constantly no matter how we tried to adjust it. Our water/sewer bill had doubled, so we had finally cut the water off to the toilet altogether, which was inconvenient. Jacob replaced the flapper and the problem was solved. He offered to check the other two toilets, and after he showed us the insides of the tanks (one flapper was deteriorating and one was ok) we decided to have him replace the flappers in those as well. If we hadn't taken advantage of the Angie's Deal, we may have let one of them go, but the price was $100 less than the normal charge. Jacob was extremely efficient, professional, and friendly. Despite the weather and our unplowed street and driveway, he was prompt and very pleasant. Because we have Toto toilets, he had to leave to retrieve the parts, but the whole procedure took a little more than an hour. Our thanks go out to Jacob and to Foster P&H whenever we notice that our pipes are not running!

I purchased the $39 for $100 Worth of Plumbing Services promotion. Service technician was very professional and arrived on time. They provided a quote and estimated my project to be about 7 hours of labor. Total estimate was $2000 including some basic materials (basic faucet). This is very very high estimate and I was not expecting such high rates. I have decided not to use their services

The provider was fabulous. My toilet used to stick and he replaced the working and it works perfectly. He also inspected the rest of the house and had some great suggestions.

Paul is a fantastic guy with a perfect personality and all the skills that go with it. This is our 4th Angie's List purchase and every one has been spot-on.

foster did a wonderful job fixing a frozen and burst pipe for my family. this was our first plumbing experience in our new home and foster just did a wonderful job. the pipe froze and broke at about 3 pm on a sunday and their technician, paul, was busy on other jobs but stayed in touch, was shocked other companies couldnt get folks out to our house prior to him finishing his other job, but called at about 5.30pm and was here working to triage the issue by 6pm....on a Sunday. paul was super professional, knowledgeable, kind and honest. he didnt have everything he needed to get the job done on sunday but capped the broken pipe so we could get the water back on and indicated he would get his notes to the office first thing in the morning. i got a call from the office at 7.30 on monday morning, which was preidents day, and they had a crew of 2 here by 11 that morning. the two techs on monday (cant remember their names unfortunately) were equally as fantastic: nice, courteous, professional, down to earth and honest. they did quick, good work ( used more appropriate piping for the space, put in a better valve on the offending line, put in a lot of extra insulation in the soffet/wall) and did everything in their power to make up for a horrible plumbing design from the construction of a second floor, cantilevered bathroom. i have never had to deal with plumbing issues before but if i need to in the future, Foster will be my first call and they definitely will get my referral. job well done.

This whole experience couldn't have gone better! We love Foster for their HVAC services in the past (for example we purchased and had them install a big new heating and air conditioning system for our downstairs and have been very happy) and this experience was no different. A gentleman came in a timely manner, he had called ahead of time and came when he said he would. He was polite upon arrival, was very clean but put protective shoe covers on and cleaned up everything afterward. He did a great job on the relatively simple fix on this 16 yr old toilet and wax seal which had never been changed, although other plumbers had been out and charged me $$ to do nothing but play around a little with the water in the back and said "this should do it, but if not call us again". Instead, he politely and articulately explained what he was doing, and gave me the complete confidence that he was very knowledgeable about his craft without sounding know-it-all-ish or patronizing to me. I appreciated his willingness to hear me out even though he clearly recognized the problem immediately. I had been through some stuff with plumbing in our house, and wished I had used Foster from the beginning, but now I know, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who asks. They always call back, and always follow up! I hope they know how much that is appreciated! We also appreciated the good Angie's List deal, which introduced us to Foster P lumbing, and I can say with certainty that we will use them always when future needs arise!

It worked out as well. They were good. I liked that they're very responsive. They were very thorough. He was very thorough on explaining things to me. He was punctual. I was able to get service according to my schedule. They were available the very next day. It turned out well.

They came out, did an excellent job, and I actually hired them for a second job which they also did well. I really felt as though they were looking out for my best interests. I had a shower that no one else had been able to fix. they came out, took charge, managed to fix it and did excellent work.

It went well. They called with an appointment reminder and showed up as scheduled even in the bad weather.

They were good overall. Their prices are fair and they respond quickly. They seem like a good plumbing company. Their price was over 150$ over what they quoted me but they did some electrical work.

Fair for a while. The tech was a nice guy but you could tell it was his first job. OK. Everyone has to learn sometime. After the installation was over and he was gone I found an unopened tube of oil provided by the manufacturer of the pump. The lube points were very specific in manufacturers directions. Obviously an oversight. I called the company and told them the pump and motor were running without oil and they needed to complete the installation properly before they seized. I was called back and told that the system didn't need oil. The inference was that neither the manufacturer or I had knowledge of such things. VERY insulting. If the dry system would have burned up in a week because of their ommision I doubt if they'd guarantee their work. (Or lack of it) No way would I do business with these people again. They are incapable of reading simple instructions! DO NOT trust them to do a repair properly. Do NOT expect them to make things right when they mess up.

It turned out real good. They did what they were supposed to do. They were able to do the work and everything was nice and neat. I purchased it in January 2014 but they came in June 2014 because I was the one who set it up. It went over the $49 coupon but that was because I had them do some work. When they came, they did the water heater. Then they discovered and did some other things. The rate came out just fine. They did not go over what they performed and they did what they were supposed to do. They even performed some extra work. I was happy with them. Apart from the fact that it takes longer for my water heater to get hotter, everything else was good. It took them a bit of time to get back at my issue. However, they were very professional. They came in and did what they were supposed to do and try to clean up as much as they could and got everything that I need.

I am very impressed by Fosters P&H and will most certainly use them again. A technician came out within 4 hours of me calling to set up an appointment and he identified the issue within 30 min. He presented me with a couple of options and the cost associated with each. No hard sell. Technician was very professional and knowledgable and it was clear that he took great pride in his work and in the company.

I am so happy. Danny came to the house around 9am to perform the PM service. He walked me through my two units. He gave me an overview of what to look, listen and smell for in the future in case of issues. He was very intelligent, clear and helpful. I'm not an expert in this area but he was able to convey basic maintenance items. Located by air filters and gave me recommendations on brands to purchase and what interval to change the filters. I am so happy I signed up for the bi-annual service. I would recommend this company to all of my friends. I also liked the technology. He was able to take my credit card via an ipad and email me the receipt. I hate holding onto the pink copy from the bottom layer of an invoice that you can't read a year later.

It worked out fine and I didn't get any problems. I've used the warranty with them before.

After purchasing the service, I had to call the company 3 times before the service was scheduled. Once the repair person was here, he was professional, courteous and prompt.

It was fantastic. Scheduling was easy and they came out within a day or two. The technician was great. He put down drape cloth, was polite, courteous, and answered any questions that I had thoroughly. I would call the company without Angie’s List help next time. It would not require a deal or savings to call them back.

They were wonderful, professional and friendly and gave me an estimate on what a new furnace would be if I were interested in that.

It started with a $49 hot water flush & drain. Jacob pointed out that my hot water heater was 23 years old and electrically deficient. when he inspected the toilets, one was a mismatch (2 bolt bowl, 3 bolt tank) held together basically but a washer. The second toilet had an internal leak that allowed my water to keep running into the bowl. He ordered the hot water heater and I bought the toilets. He returned the next week and installed all three pieces. I should also add that when Jacob did the plumbing inspection, he was a lot more thorough than the man I had do it six months prior, and I have a service contract with that company. I will not be renewing that contract and will continue to use Foster when I need a plumber. Pricing from Foster was better than the company I have a contract with - another reason for me use Foster Plumbing and Heating.
