Purchased big deal. Wrote e-mail and business called the next day. Set up appointment; worker arrived promptly. Showed us problem and talked about how problem developed, suggestions on how to avoid future problems. Would definitely contact this provider if any future problems occur or for any plumbing work.

The fitting busted loose on a Sat when our irrigation system was turned on for the year. This same fitting had been "fixed" last year by another company but obviously not correct. He came right out and saw the problem, went to buy the right fitting and repaired the pipe. The service was all finished before the other company even called us back.

Everything went well; the gentlemen was on time and provided a detailed explanation of the work that needed to be performed. The only thing I was a little surprised about was not knowing the price of the service before the repair was complete; although, I'm certain he would have quoted me a price had I asked. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised with the bill as it was half of what I was anticipating.

My water heater broke and I hired them to inspect it for me. I would have hired them to replace it but they quoted me $1500. I knew better so I went on Angie's list and bought a coupon for $900 from a competitor for the same service. Overall good experience

I painted our tiny bathroom downstairs, had new flooring installed, and put in the toilet myself. There was an old wall mount sink that i removed. I tried to install a pedestal sink and gave up. I took it back to the store. I then installed a cabinet with a sink and the faucet but could not get the plumbing lined up. I finally decided I am not a plumber and called Fosters. They came out at 7:30 in the morning, quoted a price that was really fair, and had the job completed within the hour. Very professional. Very pleased.

They guy did thoroughly inspection and super friendly and patient with me since I am hard of hearing and need to read his lip. He answered all of my questions/concerns since I brought this home in 2010 and was concerned how much life left for my water heater but to my delight, it still have about 5 years left.. I recommend anyone using them for their plumbing needs.

The company scheduler called me and we agreed on 3/26/2015. She said there was an opening for a 7:30 am service visit. I told her that we would be away at an other appointment then and she said that was ok and that she would call when the technician could visit. We arrived back at home about 9:30 am to find a tag on our front door indicating that the tech had been there from 8:15 til 8:45 and requesting that we call the company, which we did. The scheduler very nicely told me that when their plumber was around 30 minutes away she would call to let us know. The gentleman arrived in about 15 minutes. I was unavailable then so my wife told him what needed to be done. In around 1hour he pronounced the job done and presented us with a bill for $169.00. Of course we had already paid Angie's List the $39.00 Big Deal Fee. When I checked the bathtub drain I found that it drained no faster than it had before he had worked on it. The other work was performed adequately. I feel that the Big Deal was not a good deal for me. In my opinion Foster Co. charged too much for the job done and failed to improve the drain situation at all. I called and shared my feelings with Mr. Foster who told me that price I paid was indeed discounted off their usual rates and that they charge on a flat rate basis not an hourly rate. I couldn't argue with that, He offered to send their employee back to check the tub, but I declined. I decided to just consider it a learning experience. For $208.00 I learned that a Big Deal is not always a good deal and not to have the Foster Co. repair my plumbing.

The process went perfectly. Jacob was very good in his craft and I found him very friendly and willing to do any other jobs I had at my house. He gave me a quote on a job before he left. He was only here about 90 minutes.

Jacob was very professional and polite. He performed his assessment thoroughly and asked a number of related questions. He determined that there was no leak so there was no additional cost. I am very pleased with his service.

Work was performed extremely well in a professional manner. I felt that he was determined to ensure he did a good job.

We had a burst pipe in our crawl space. Foster had a plumber out to our house within an hour in the snow and fixed everything. They even insulated a few areas of the crawlspace and fixed some duct work that wasn't hooked up properly. We will be using foster for all of our plumbing work from now on.

The administration was very prompt in returning my query, and made an appointment for me at the most appropriate time for me (work, calendar issues, etc.) The representative who came to the house was very prompt, and courteously called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about plumbing and was able to answer almost all of my questions; for those he couldn't answer immediately, he responded with a follow up email. He gave us a rough quote for additional work we discussed during the inspection/visit, and managed expecations very well. He was polite and friendly, which made it easier to ask questions and get down to business that really mattered to us.

I purchased $39 for $100 Big Deals and hope the plumber can replace valve and rings of my toilet. But the plumber quote a very high price for $235 (they don't allow you to use your own parts). I immediately let him go since this price is way too high. I don't like their bait and hook business model (using Big Deal's low price as bait, but charge you higher price later when they arrive). Overall you won't save anything from Big Deal. In addition, they refused to quote anything while making appointment. People don't get fooled by the big discount of Big Deals. You got what you paid for.

Foster was great. They were punctual. Cost was fantastic. Will absolutely be calling them again.

My pipes burst with the recent freeze and the service provider said they could not use this deal because it was an emergency fix over the weekend. They did do the emergency work to fix my pipe, I just could not use my deal.

Daniel was great. He came out and looked at my problem, and went back to his shop to pick up materials and fix my problem the same day. He worked very efficiently and was very courteous and explained to me everything he was doing. I really appreciate the quick service so we could get our new clothes dryer hooked up and running. Will use again!

We called Fosters after our hot water heater started leaking and we could not get it to stop. They arrived about 20 minutes after I called on a Friday afternoon. He was able to fix the water shut off valve so it would stop leaking and he assessed it and determined we needed a new one (which we had already figured was the case). He said he would be able to put a new one in right then, but we had a home warranty we needed to figure out so he advised us not to do anything until we speak to the insurance company. Long story short we called back a week later and they were able to come by the next day to put in a new one. I do think another company may have been less expensive but their professionalism and efficiency made it all worth it. Will use again.

I didnt end up using their big deal due to the fact that it would of cost me an additional $550 to get my faucets installed when I could just do it myself. They were courteous still, and very prompt. They did follow up with me and were interested in other peoples rates. They were very professional about the whole situation. Nothing against them, just price was high.

Jacob diagnosed the issue with my bathroom toilet (which I don't use because it runs all the time). The floor is soft as the result of water around the toilet base over a long period of time, softening the floor and causing the toilet to lean to one side, therefore it runs. I knew what the problem was, which he confirmed, however I wanted an estimate and he gave me that. My kitchen faucet sprays unintentionally, creates a lot of unwanted water and he replaced all the washers so it is working well now. He showed me some cracks in the plastic pipes under the sink that will have to be replaced at some point and I would've had him do it if I hadn't just spent several hundred dollars on my roof this week.

I feel their quote was a bit inflated for the job I needed done.

The technician was on time and very professional. He went right to work and seemed very knowable. I felt he was thorough and very efficient, as well as pleasant. I will use this service again from this company.
