As I had just bought a home with an older HVAC system, it feels great knowing that the system is in better shape and may run for many more years.

The person who came out to deal with leaky faucet was professional and quick to find the problem which was a simple fix in contradiction toadvice given by others. Will call them again.

It was a small job that went very well and I appreciate the company's responsiveness, calling before arriving, etc. I would use them again.

My heat pump had been making a horrible racket when operating. My call to Foster was very pleasant, and service was scheduled in a short time span. The service person was punctual and professional. Besides the expected multi-point service, he was able to identify a loose bolt which was responsible for the noise. I feel I received a bargain for both the preventative maintenance and the trouble-shooting.

It went well. He gave me report of a good working system though rather old. I did think he was going to be cleaning parts and doing more than just inspecting.

Matt provided a very helpful estimate of the costs, including what we need and don't need. The appointment was scheduled promptly. The technicians (John & another gentlemen) showed up and got the job done right. Cost was right on par with other estimates. We are extremely pleased with the installation and attention to detail. We highly recommend Foster.

Showed up on time (7:30 a.m.!), had everything needed for the repair, finished and gone in slightly more than an hour. With the Angie's List pricing, total bill was $95.00. Near as I can tell, the repair is is well done, no more leaks, we have our main shower/bath back.

Paul, was extremely professional and very helpful. Though we had only put a call in for a toilet replacement, he took extra time to replace the bathroom faucet and fix the leaky outside faucet, as well. His willingness to perform the extra work was greatly appreciated. He was very courteous and informative throughout the whole process. Thanks so much for a job well done. You'll definitely be our first call for any other plumbing needs!

Foster's estimator came out in the morning to estimate what the additional cost would be to add two units to the HVAC Service Agreement deal I purchased for $109 on Angie's list. The estimator said it would be an additional $298 to the $109 I had already paid for the Angie's list offer that included one system. I also asked the estimator to include any cost associated with leveling one of the three units. The estimator said the it would cost $149 per additional system for the maintenance program (2 visits) - a total of $298 in addition to the $109 paid for the Angie's list. He also said that he would have the technician go by a hardware store to pickup some gravel to use to level the HVAC at no cost since I signed up for 3 units. The technician came later that day and performed the tune-ups. On his way out, I asked how the leveling went and he said he had leveled it. I asked him what he used, and the technician said the slate shingles laying around the unit. I told him that was a fine temporary fix, but the idea was for him to put down gravel around the unit so that the shingles wouldn't float away from the platform. He went out and then used the gravel he had purchased from the hardware store to do the job right. Since the technician obviously had gone by the hardware store to purchase the gravel for this purpose, I am not sure why he didn't do the work right the first time. The reason for the low "price" rating is because I felt they could have honored the $109 per additional unit as there were not limit stated on the Angie's list special other than that the deal was only good for one system. Also, the technician started to say "you are aware that you only have one visit with what you have paid." And that I would need to purchase additional service contracts for them to come back in the fall. I quickly stopped him and said that is not what the estimator told me and that the total price was supposed to be for 2 visits. He made a notation in his computer. I will see in the fall if they will honor what they said (and noted). Nevertheless, he finished the work and the units are working fine.

The Foster Plumber was great. However, the Angie's list deal was misleading. Title of the Angie's list deal was "$39 for a Plumbing Service Call + $100 credit towards repairs." The plumber came on time, fastened a loose nut on the outside faucet to stop leaking when operating (approx. 10 minutes), fixed upstairs running toilet by bending float properly (10 minutes). Then they charged me $129 for the service call. I said I purchased the Angie's list deal, and they took off $100. I ended up having to write a check for $29 in addition to the $39 I had already paid for the Angie's list deal, which, according to its title, was "$39 for a Service Call..."

It was very expensive. If I had known how much it was going to cost, I would have never had done it. I was supposed to get $100 worth of plumbing by paying $39. That ended up to be their service call. I ended up having to pay an exorbitant amount of money to get parts of the insides of two toilets replaced. He said they should have told me when I called to schedule the service. I talked to a lady there a couple of times and told her what I wanted to have done and not once did she tell me how much it would end up being. I was shocked when he came and told me it was going to be $165 extra. I didn't even get the entire inside of the toilets replaced. I just got the fill valves replaced. It was amazing to me how much it cost. I would have used a handyman. It was a lot of learning. He did the repairs very well and he was very courteous, but it was the price that was so bad.

I don't know that I would use them again. It seemed okay on one level but I have doubts on the other. I got them to do some extra things while they were here. I didn't feel like I was getting enough heat on my hot water. They said they couldn't drain our water heater. They quoted me on a new water heater. I would rate them a 6 on a scale of one to ten. The workers were better than that. I would say a seven and a half. They could have went further with the water heater draining. I think they could have done better with the bathroom sink and the leak that I had after they fixed it.

The technician arrived on time and performed a very thorough check of my A/C unit. He found that I was low on coolant and recommended that I have it checked further. He did not just try to make money off of the coolant because he recommended that I go ahead and contact my home warranty company to have them send someone out.

They're very nice. They're very professional. The first thing they came out for was an Angie's List deal. I paid $39 and I got $100 credit. Their fee to change the faucet was $185. So, I paid $85. The price for the big deal was fine. The rate structure is $126 for the visit, but it is applied to any work that is done. The second time they came out they charged me $110. It was just to change the handles on the tub faucet. In June, my toilet started leaking and basically the bolts that held the toilet rusted and caused the leak. They charged $147 for that, which I thought was a little steep. They sent four different plumbers but they all were really professional and very courteous. The first guy did a really good job because there was a little bit of cosmetic stuff involved, which I explained to him. Cosmetic work was very nice. So I was very happy. They all were personable. The first guy was really enthusiastic about my new faucet.

John was courteous, professional, and completed the job above our expectations in a timely manner.

The young lady with whom I spoke to set up the appointment was very helpful and explained that the company did not charge by the hour, but by the job. Later I spoke on the phone with Paul, the plumber who did the work, and asked for an estimate of the cost of the job. I also told him that I would like to paint the wall after he removed the old toilet. He gave me an accurate estimate and seemed very willing to work with me on the painting. This morning Paul arrived on time and pulled the old toilet. He worked on the faucet while I painted, then set the new unit and checked everything. He took away the old unit, as well as the box and packing from the new one, and left everything in perfect order. The entire process took less than two hours and I am very happy. I will certainly call Foster Plumbing whenever I need a reliable, competent and helpful plumber.

They did a really good job. I give them A's on everything except for price. I thought the pricing was expensive. I did the Deal but I also bought 3 toilets. They also fixed a leaky faucet which I couldn't believe they charged me 60 some dollars. The total was $1700 for them to do the 3 toilets and the leaky faucet. I will not use them again just because of the price.
