It turned out great for us, everything is working fine. He didn't charge us for the extra work. It didn't cost us much more than the big deal purchase. It was $39 for $100 worth of plumbing work. Everything that he did came up to $99 and we just had to pay the $39. He offered to replace the spout for us. He ran to the store and got it for us and didn't charge us for it.

These guys are great. The woman I spoke with on the phone was great- I recently moved and she called to check when she thought there was a mistake on the address she was given (there was, and it was a good thing she called!). The guy who checked out my cooling system back in the summer was very nice and professional. The guy who did my heating system was just fantastic. I asked him a question able installing a programmable thermostat, and he very nicely offered to install it for me. It only took him a couple minutes, but I know it would have taken me at least an hour, so I was very grateful. He was also thorough in checking the heating system and explaining things to me about my new house, and very patient with my sometimes overwhelming dog. I will likely continue to use their services based on this experience to maintain my heating and cooling systems.

Paul Patterson was excellent. Prompt, professional, pleasant, and full of specific information and advice on a variety of current issues and problems that may arise in the future. Not only will I use this company again, but when I do, I will specifically request that Paul come back out. Since I had previously purchased a $100-value "Big Deal" for only $39, my net cost was a mere $65 -- great value for the two hours Paul was here (he had to leave to buy some parts at a store locally for the unusually small faucet in a secondary sink).

Paul arrived on time, was enthusiastic, and was ready to work. After I showed him all we needed, he began to work and didn't stop until he was finished. We are thrilled with his work and so glad to have the work completed.

They have been out twice. I have a pretty old heat pump. During the first visit the tech removed the panel that covered the wiring. There was a great deal of dryer lint buildup that he cleaned. He also installed a programmable thermostat at my request. During the second visit the tech fixed it so that my air filter no longer fell through the duct work. (Did I say I have an old system?) I had to call them out again when my heat pump stopped working. This turned out to be an issue with my electrical panel and not my heat pump. All three techs have been very knowledgeable and professional and polite. I will continue to use Foster Plumbing & Heating.

Did a great job. Also explained to me a few other details about the 1996 plumbing codes and what to watch for that I was unaware.

Speedy response to my service request. Daniel was the technician. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. He was thorough in identifying the problem and walked me through the fix while educating me about the HVAC system. He made some additional recommendations but was not pushy. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

The company called me when the technician (Paul) was on the way. We discussed the problem as soon as he arrived and he went right to work. I had numerous questions, and he patiently answered them. He made several valuable suggestions. I am so relieved to have this leaky faucet fixed. I had purchased a deal for $100 of service for $39 so my additional cost was $56.00. The electronic invoice already reflected my deal.

I purchased a service special through Angie's List for discounted plumbing service, $39 for $100 worth of plumbing services. Foster was very prompt in scheduling my service appointment for a garbage disposal installation. (I purchased the garbage disposal at a large hardware store.) The service tech arrived the next day after scheduling the appointment and installed the disposal in about 30 minutes and inspected the crawl space for a possible water leak. I was surprised that I was charged an additional $144.40 after the installation of the garbage disposal. I feel as though I was over charged for this service-- that's $183.40 for a 30 minute garbage disposal installation. In my opinion this was very expensive and the total fee was disclosed after the disposal was installed and crawl space was inspected. I was shocked when I thought the installation was $39 and I paid an additional $144.40. Wow, was I surprised for the up charge. I do think the service technician installed the disposal correctly and efficiently. He was helpful and offered good advice. I don't believe this type of work was worth a total bill of $183.40. Be advised to obtain full price disclosure from this firm before any service is rendered to prevent misunderstandings.

.I am satisfied with the quality of the work. It took about 30 minutes to complete the work. I am dissatisfied with the price charged for the work. Angies list offered a deal of pay $29 for the first $100 of work. After the Plumber arrived, and viewed the level of effort, he quoted me a price of $259 to perform the work. I chose to accept it because I needed the work to be completed then and did not want to take the time to find another plumber. However, after discussing this "deal" with others, they all felt this was a classic "bait and switch" type offer from Angies List.. I now know that Angies list offers a Fair Price Guarantee and with that, I could have chosen to decline the service and receive a refund. That means the onus would have been on me to find another plumber after scheduling this work and waiting to have it done. Since I have had a lot of plumbing work done by other plumbers, I realize that charging $259 for 30 minutes of work is extremely excessive. It again gives a bad impression not only for the Plumbing Company, Foster Plumbing, but to Angie's list which sells a deal which ends up not being a deal at all.

Forster's plumbing done an excellent job installing two new outdoor faucets. I continue to be impressed with their level of expertise and professionalism. They go the extra mile to handle other issues that always pop up in an old house and for that I will continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs. The technician that serviced my Faucets was Paul and he did an A+ job. Please save yourself the time and energy of searching for a plumber and do yourself a favor and call Foster's plumbing.

Excellent. Caled this morning and they were able to come within a couple of hours. This is the second time I've used them this year. Very courteous and efficient. Will definitely continue to use them in the future.

The man who did the work was excellent: came on time and was polite and professional. The only problem I had was when I signed up with Angie's List, I was asked to give 3 dates/times when I could be available for service. No one contacted me to set up an appointment. After a few days, I called them and got something scheduled a couple days later.

They are very good. I have been very pleased with them. They responded quickly to my request. I have used them at least twice.

Things went fine . The only thing i would change if i were them,whoever called to say technician was on his way used a phone witch came up as no caller Id.. I normally don't answer such calls. I would have like to have been able to call back and ask technicians name. The tech that came both times was very knowledgeable and show us things other companies that came out never did. I wish i could remember his name but he is definitely is an asset to the company. I will be using fosters again Johnny Morse

They are definitely consistent with their work. They have done everything plus additional things stated in their big deal. I was pleased with their response and how they conducted themselves throughout the service.

Ryan did great job of rapidly finding the source of the problem with the furnace (fan stuck in induction motor), fixing it by hand (without expensive replacement as another provider had done in past), and restoring furnace to normal function. Very efficient, neat, professional, courteous, and honest.

Very professional and courtesy. They were unable to do the requested work because they were afraid of asbestos being in some of the piping. I appreciated their safety concern. Employee and resident health is top concern. Ending up using a different company but still impressed by their standards and customer service.

This was my first time using this provider's services, and I was very pleased with the work performed. The tech did an excellent job,, and was very professional and respectful. The price was very fair for the scope of work performed, and the company was very pleasent to deal with. Will definately use them in the future and would highly recommend them..

I attempted to install a new trim kit in the tub area before selling my home. I experienced difficulty with leaks and could get trim kit flush enough. I purchased the special running through Angies list. In the end, the plumber needed to install an access door - an unforseen expense. I had just painted in the other room so I was nervous. The plumber was very professional and did a great job. The office staff was very responsive as well. They were a great company to work with.

I had an intermittent odor in our home that would come and go and was difficult to track down. I had called the plumber who initially installed the renovated plumbing to our home and on 2 occasions they were unable to decipher the problem. When I tried Foster's, they were extremely helpful in every way. First, they were able to send a man out (Paul) immediately. Unfortunately, when Greg arrived, there was not distinct smell at that time. But Greg wanted to get to the root of the problem and after a good deal of investigation he was able to find the source of the smell when he removed one of the caps covering the johnny bolt anchoring the toilet to the floor. There was the smell. Greg quickly removed, resealed (which was complicated in this older, renovated home), and re-installed the toilet. It has been a week now, and no odor so far. I am thankful and grateful for Greg's work, and he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend Foster Plumbing and Heating and will call them first if I have another plumbing issue.

The diverter mechanism was stuck in the up/shower position and there was a very slow drip in the tub faucet. The plumber did not answer questions about the work or estimate thoroughly or professionally. In addition, the quote provided was almost double what we paid a subsequent plumber.

Very unusual experience - in a good way! 1. My first call was answered by a real person who was able to actually help me. Listened to my problem, told me how they would go about scheduling, charging for the visit, etc. We scheduled a day for the visit and was told to expect a call about 30 to 60 minutes before the tech would arrive. 2. On day of scheduled visit, the call I was told to expect actually was received. 3. Plumber arrived when expected. Very pleasant to deal with. Seemed to know what he was doing. Obviously cared about solving the problem on the first visit. 4. Fixed the problem, (well over a week now and no recurrence.) 5. Bill was reasonable. Based on my experience with plumbers over last decade plus, this was, indeed, unusual. They were responsive. Did what they said they would do, and were pleasant to deal with. Even got a "thank you for the business note" later!
