WOMEN AND PET OWNERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I have remodeled and built five houses and this is the WORST company I have ever worked with. The estimator returned to my home several weeks after our initial meeting and was caught by another workman trying to PEEP in my house. And when questioned by the other workman he said, "he was trying to get another look at the little lady who lived here". When my husband told the owner this, we were told he couldn't be fired because he was the owner's wife's cousin and we shouldn't worry because he brings cookies into the office...WHAT??? The layout of the fence was very clear on paper, but built wrong. The back gate was built directly behind a tree so it COULD NOT BE OPENED! The front gate was supposed to be an arch but it was lopsided and never trimmed out. I called the manager Tom, for MONTHS with no response. I had to contact the BBB to get Fence City to call me back. The manager Tom called and was abusive and disrespectful. I was told by the office manager, Crystal that Tom was frequently disrespectful to women and had been spoken to about it in the past by the owner, Lew Combs. When Tom sent workers to our house they purposely propped the gate open so our dogs would get out. THEY TOOK US TO COURT TWO TIMES EVEN THOUGH THE WORK IS STILL NOT DONE. We paid full price for a fence that took over A YEAR to be built and still isn't right! I hope no one else falls prey to this horrible company and these horrible people! PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR PETS DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
