Greg from Element did an excellent job. We have an old unit and it required some additional research to troubleshoot the issue. He had all of the necessary resources on standby to get the job done. Element didn't try to up sell or recommend unnecessary spending. The diagnosis and problem explanation was very thorough. He responded to my online Angi's repair request within a few hours and provided itemized replacement cost in details right after making the diagnosis. It turns out my outdoor condenser unit had a malfunctioning compressor and thus the refrigerant was not flowing. Greg's replacement cost estimate is one of the best that I received, no hidden fees or surcharges. He and his team completed the project within 2 days of my initial contact in the hot summer days. After setting up the new unit and making sure the system was running smoothly, he also took the time to help register the new unit on the manufacture's website and confirm warranty information. Greg came out to just do a checkup on our 5.5 year old system that had never been looked at. He identified a faulty installation in our heat pump secondary heat, and we now have hot air coming out upstairs in the winter for the first time ever. Greg took all the covers off the outside unit and thoroughly cleaned the coils with a spray cleaning solution and the garden hose. Man the dirt that came out was more than I expected. He then cleaned inside unit. After he checked and made sure everything was running correctly. Will definitely use for any other ac or heat repairs.
