Deco-Crete, LLC

Had new Patio installed. They removed the old Patio and installed a 15x26 Stamped concrete patio with retaining and sitting wall. Came out great, lots of compliments from friends. Jake and Travis were great to work with, even helped redesign for a disability I have. They are busy but well worth the wait.

Called twice in 2 days to request an appointment for estimate. Was told someone would call me back. Nobody called me back. I would expect a callback within 24 hrs; I called 5 days ago and 4 days ago, I think that's enough time to return a call, don't you?

Originally spoke with Kyle, Inside Salesman? Described my project, which included refinishing two patios at my home in Midlothian VA. He agreed to visit my home the following Wednesday and submit a bid. After 10 ten days passed and not hearing back from Kyle, I called and spoke to another representative at Deco Crete (don't remember the name). This individual promised he would track down Kyle and have him give me a call right away. It's been another week and I'm still waiting for a call back.

I made two requests to their email on separate days to get an estimate for 3 projects. Unfortunately, I was not successful in getting a response. Typically, Sales are fast, Installers are slow...this leave a bad feeling had I chosen this company,

Brad and his folks were just outstanding. I was impressed with his service and responsiveness even though I had initially selected another installer - when I was having communications with the initial company, I contacted Brad and he was happy to hear from me. The guys were at my house in two weeks and did an outstanding job in installing and finishing the patio. I could not be more pleased. Please have no fear with the quality and professionalism of these folks.

Almost everything that could have possibly gone wrong went wrong. The price would have been decent had the project gone well; however, it did not. They couldn't start the project on time, the work was subpar, and it even started cracking not long after they were done. They installed elements where they were not supposed to go, couldn't secure all the caps on the retaining wall, ran out of concrete mid-pouring, and were generally unresponsive. It was just a nightmare from beginning to end. I would feel uncomfortable recommending them to anyone.

We were referred to Dec Crete from a local landscape company after interviewing several other concrete companies. Brad, the owner, was very knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. He helped us conceptualize the project and met with us many times to show us pictures and samples of the different materials. We decided to take up our old patio and put in a wider stamped concrete patio with an additional stone-faced sitting wall. Brad kept a close watch on the project and managing his workers. Everything went very smoothly and the patio looks gorgeous!!! We would definitely use Deco Crete again and highly recommend them for other people.
