Costa Green Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping

The yard looks great. That is the end of our compliments. The couple showed up and gave us a quote on the spot for the mulching and weeding in our yard. I also asked for a quote to slowly turn the weeds in our front yard to grass and they gave me a different quote to do all the work at once. I asked several different times for the quote for the treatments, but, even though she had left me several messages, she did not leave the quote. So, originally the company came out on Saturday 8.10 to quote us for the mulching/weeding project. I called them Monday the 10th to hire them. They were able to come and start work Tuesday 8.13 but wanted extra money to mow our back yard. I was frustrated with them wanting extra money instead of including it in the original quote. My husband works weird hours and wasn't able to mow the lawn in less than 24 hours so we had to postpone when they would start. Natalia assured me that she would call the next day to let me know when she would start the following week. She didn't call until Friday. They were supposed to start work on Monday but no one ever showed up. She called at 8:15 am to say someone would be at our house by 8:30. By 10 I called because no one was there. I asked again for the second quote and she said her husband was bringing it with him. The couple was nice and polite but gave excuses contently as to why they weren't on time, why I wasn't getting phone calls when they said they would, and why they didn't show up on the days they said they were going to. I wanted to fire them before they started but Natalia assured me that we would like the work, and we did. The only reason why I didn't fire them is because trying to make appointments with people to get landscaping jobs done is a lot of work and I didn't have time to start the process over again. So, in short, the yard looks great and I'm happy that I didn't have to do it, given that I have both a newborn and 2-year-old, I don't have the time. I would not recommend them or hire them again because of the headache of trying to get them here and hearing their excuses.
