Description of Work: I contacted Mr. Winston to complete yard services for a property I am selling in Richmond Va my initial interaction with him was pleasant and he was responsive. I prepaid for lawn care series that were scheduled to be completed the same day... Since my initial contact I have yet to receive the lawn care services and Mr. Winston will not answer my calls.I have gotten several excuses, via text,as to why the job has not been completed. It has been 3-4 weeks since I have paid for services, 6/24/16, and I have yet to see them completed. I am highly disappointed in the lack of communication and disregard he has for a paying customer. I am seeking full refund and would not use this company again! I found there services via Living Social and Angie's list website and I typically have good experiences with their vendors but not this time, I will also be contacting Living socialn to alert them of a this potential scam bogus business

Description of Work: Said that the SP was supposed to be at her house at 10:00am, said that she got a text message and said that they would be there by noon and they didn't. Tried to get back a hold of them and no answer and could not leave a text message.

Description of Work: I paid for four hours of yard work - I got the contract for my daughter as she is 8 months pregnant! She needed some flower beds cleaned out in her front yard. The owner of Conscious Cuts was nice on the phone - agreed to meet with my daughter and figure out what he could do in her yard for four hours. He and his crew showed up late in the afternoon on the date agreed to by him and my daughter but was only able to complete two hours of work - he made arrangements to come back the next day and finish cleaning out the flower bed in the front yard. He and his crew did not come back. After repeated attempts to call and reschedule neither my daughter or I have heard from him. He has not returned either of our phone called or messages left. He has not completed the additional two hours of work and has failed to make good on the two hours of work he committed to doing for my daughter. I paid in advance for the four hours work and Conscious Cuts has not delivered on the work agreed to.

Description of Work: They never showed or contacted me, even though I contacted them and set up an appointment. |I am really disappointed, because I used them last year for a similar service offer and was very satisfied with their work. I hopes this year would be the same, but it was not. |PLEASE REFUND THE COST OF THE OFFER CHARGED ON MY CREDIT CARD. |I am a regular user of Angie's List but I am beginning to have second thought about how good it is, because this is the second "NO-SHOW" in two months. Don't you supervise whether your providers follow though?

Description of Work: This vendor was apparently not prepared for this deal. He said I wasn't in the service area; I was. He agreed to fulfill the contract, but then postponed. He asked to reschedule on a date when he could schedule other work nearby; I agreed. He cancelled one hour prior to our appointment. I had taken time off from work to meet him, and was quite annoyed. I hope he can learn from these mistakes and plan better for future customers.

Description of Work: Carson and his team trimmed shrubs and bushes at my house. They were very professional and when they finished cleaned up all the debris. I will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: They did nothing but waste my time and cause me to have a crappy looking yard during a family event. I bought a Big Deal in February. Carson contacted me within 24 hours and we agreed that April 4 would be the day that he performed the 4 man-hours of service on my yard. I heard absolutely NOTHING from him after that, even with my leaving 3 messages, until the day before the services were to be performed, when he confirmed that he would be at my house between 3 and 5pm. The next day (the day he promised to be there) he sent me a phone message saying that his crew was in Manakin and would not be able to come to my house but would be there Monday. Monday was raining, but there was no message from Carson. I called him two times on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Thursday, Carson had one of his workers call me and asked if it would be OK to come on Friday. The reason I had originally scheduled April 4 is that I knew I would be out of town from that Thursday for the next 2 weeks. After Carson's worker called me back (again, no direct contact with the owner) he stated that "Well, looks like it will have to be the 21st." | |After this fiasco I contacted Commonwealth Lawn Care, who did this same type of work for me last year. Mike was extremely helpful and is now scheduled to do this work for me. This will cost me considerably more money, but at least I know that the work will be done by someone who values my business instead of ignoring customers. I'm now in the process of getting a refund for the Big Deal from Angie's List. | |I'm sorry, but I could not recommend anyone using Conscious Cuts Universal Services.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $79 for up to Four Hours of Shrub Trimming and Weeding. He contacted me and asked if the first week for April worked for me, but I wanted the work done the first week in May. I asked via email if he could do that in May and he said that was no problem. I really appreciated that and he was very professional. I liked that he contacted me before I even called him. I also sent him a handful of emails and he was always very on-top of that and respond quickly.

They were courteous and did the work they promised to complete at the price of the special. When I booked the service, they were a part of Nora the Cleaning Lady.

Description of Work: Carson and another worker mowed my lawn and weeded my backyard. The backyard had become overwhelmed with weeds in one area, and they worked diligently in the hot sun to dig out the invasive weeds over the course of a few hours.

Description of Work: Carson came to my home, with an additional worker and did an excellent job on pruning, weeding, and generally cleaning up my yard. I had recently had surgery and could not lift anything that was heavy. Carson personally helped move yard ornaments for me. He was totally professional, very congenial, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. He did not waste a minute of time. I will have him come back to take care of my yard. You will not be disappointed with Carson, in fact I am sure you will be like me, and continue to call Conscious Universal Services to handle anything you need done.
