Carson the owner came with his brother. They defined my borders and got up areas for weeds and trimmed out my back brush. They have a coupon which I called instead of buying first because I could tell from reviews it was the coupon not the service being an issue and I was right. If you buy the coupon you get cued for service. Calling him if you have something that needs to be done soon helps and then just paying the coupon cost at time of service. He will fit you in asap and in my case it was withing two days. He was punctual and communicative. Carson is a nice guy and wants to do a good job and that goes a long way with me. I will be using his services again for my lawn care needs. I had him come out a second time and spray and I do my own mowing with my tractor and my own leaf removal.

I talked to Nora, the cleaning lady to get an estimate on house cleaning. She told me about Conscious Cuts Universal and said she would have Carson give me a call. He called me that night and said he'd be out the next day. I was skeptical because so many services say that, then don't show up. Well, Carson showed up right on time. We went thru my yard and I told him everything I wanted done. He made a date to come and he actually got here early! He weeded 4 flower beds, brought some mulch over and then mulched the flower beds; he trimmed my azaleas and other bushes; mowed my lawn; took care of the leaves in the yard. He brought one man with him and spent more time than he was charging me for - at no extra cost. I can't believe the way my yard looks now. It's such a nice feeling to have a half way decent yard. I'm definitely going to keep Carson in my contact list and will call him in a few weeks to do some more work. My yard needs a lot of TLC and Carson is the man to do it. He also gave me a very reasonable price for mowing the lawn. Although this season is about over (Thanks goodness!!!), I am definitely going to give him a call in the spring to set up a schedule.

We went back and forth a few times about setting appointments. They called twice to cancel in the evening. We had an appointment set for Thursday. The appointment was canceled because of rain and they haven't called to reschedule. It's been 2 weeks.

Owner provided instructions, and work was completed in a timely manner. Very satisfied.

Excellent, showed up on time, his crew was dedicated to a particular task and I think they all knew what to do. They were happy to have a job, and it showed, they wanted to make our yard look good and i think that was all the crews attitude.....very accepting of different request. I wish all yard work people with this willing to please the clients.

Ii was stood up on two previous occasions. He came without prior notification. He worked a total of 2 and a half hours and insisted I pay him double. Clearly he had no intention of doing the job for $79.00. He should stop advertising the service for that price I don't trust him.

He was friendly on the phone, but never got back to me for a date. I called three times. He said he had been ill. A month later he said the same thing. A month later his mailbox was full for days so I couldn't leave him a message. Tried texting, to no avail.

Rescheduled five times (twice because they cut power lines on another job, twice for flat tires, and once for the wrong date).

I called and emailed repeatedly with their scheduler. We had problems connecting, but finally were able to speak and after multiple phone calls, scheduled Oct. 2nd for service between 9 and 10 am. I waited (missing my work) and no one showed. When I called the scheduler, she said "I remember you but forgot to put you in the schedule and now they have no availability. I'll call Carson and call you back." I'm still waiting for that call back. It's been 24 hours. I give up. Totally totally frustrating experience.

We had a while trying to schedule a date. Then it had to be moved forward one day and again a couple of hours due to work they were doing that was expanded. However, they did call to ask if they could reschedule and to inform me of the two hour delay. Very personable. I did not get to watch them work because I had so much going on and had to leave for an appointment, which was unfortunate but happened because of the new scheduling. My son commented on how nice the borders and shrubs looked that had been done. Some work still needed to be done, but it was not in my budget to do more. I am grateful for what they did get done, however.

It went ok. The owners cell phone broke and it was difficult to communicate initially. After several attempts to get it scheduled, we got it worked out and they did a good job. The price was very fair and the service was good. I would use them again.

We got off to a rough start. I got an email at the Angies' List message center within 2 work days of my purchase asking for contact information which I promptly returned via the message center. I got a message that someone would contact me by September 18. Nothing happened so several days later I looked up the company's phone number on Angies' List and called called. No one answered the first telephone number. When I called the second number, Nora of Nora's cleaning said she would have Ms. Jackson call me. I did receive a call from her fairly quickly. She said there had been an enormous response to the Big Deal and she was working to get caught up with all the scheduling. I thought we has scheduled the work for October 8 from 12-1 p.m and was surprised when Carson, Rick and Tony arrived on Monday, September 30. Carson was the supervisor and the 3 got to work quickly. The azaleas were pruned very nicely. The flower bed along the driveway was weeded well where it was weeded but an area next to the steps up to the sidewalk was missed as were weeds at the other end next to the house. The garden in the back was well weeded. After they left, I looked more closely at the work. The pruning of the azaleas was great. The pruning of the crepe myrtle was good but they hadn't brought a tree pruning saw and weren't able to reach the higher limbs. For the most part, the work was done neatly and and grass and pruning waste bagged for my trash pick-up. However, there was dirt left on the driveway from the weeding of the driveway bed which should have been blown or swept back into the bed. I took care of that. Carson and I talked about other work I needed done in the yard and garden shed and I asked for an estimate for a number of other projects including lawn maintenance next year. He said he would email me an estimate for various projects and I may consider using this company again. I may use this company again. Carson asked me to do an review of the work for Angie's List, which I have done. The biggest problem I had with this Big Deal was the lack of organizations for scheduling and the need for a little better final check of the work.

This was a great experience! Tony, Rick, and Carson were all very friendly, on time, polite, and worked very hard to help me get my yard back in shape. They went around my yard with me and asked what I wanted them to get accomplished and then did it in short order. My azaleas got a needed trim and we ended up taking down a much overgrown holly tree/bush that was just growing in the wrong spot and growing up under the eaves of my house. I really appreciated how pleasant they were, how hard they worked, and the advice they gave when asked. They cleaned up the yard debris and asked if there were other projects that I needed to have done. I will definitely have them come back to help me spruce up my yard some more. Thanks to these guys for all their help and a great job!

Carson and his 2 guys turned up on time and took the time to understand what needed doing in my yard. They quickly got to work pruning shrubs, whacking weeds and pulling all roots out with a hoe. The job was done well and i will have them back. Carson is a man with many contacts. He was willing to teach me how I could maintain the yard myself with just minimal visits from his team. He is also bringing a load of mulch today. Carson was courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. All in all a job well done.

I was very impressed with my entire experience. These people not only provide excellent work but their interaction with the customer from phone verification of appointments an.d arrival times. When they arrive introductions of all worker (2 plus the owner). Discussion of what chores are expected and possible future work. There is no doubt that they realize the value of concentrated work and exceptional interaction with the customer! I look forward to doing future business with them. THANKS!

My yard was badly overgrown. Carson and his crew dived right in and got to it. Found out I had a house behind the jungle! They worked steadily, paid attention to details, and made a HUGE difference in the appearance of my property. I intend to bring them back to clean up the rest of me yard as well as eventually maintain it for me. He does what he says they will do and more, communicate well, and are PROMPT! Good Job. Bravo Zulu!

I highly recommend Conscious Cuts. I called early in the week and they scheduled me for that weekend. Carson and his team did a great job. They were fast, professional and friendly. Did an amazing job cleaning up as well. My flower beds look beautiful. I plan on using them for all my gardening needs.

I was very impressed with Carson and the other worker. They did a great job. Carson greeted me upon arrival and we walked through the yard and talked about what I needed done. He was very pleasant and professional. He is very committed to pleasing the customer and doing the job right, and he has a great attitude. The weeding was especially hard work and they worked under the hot sun for several hours. I would definitely hire them again.

Carson and his crew arrived on time and scoped out the job. They weeded my garden area and pruned all 12 on my large shrubs. They did an excellent job! Carson and his crew exceeded all expectations. I will definitely be using Carson's services again. Price was excellent and crew was professional and hard working. Also, the job site was cleared of all debris from pruning. I recommend using Conscious Cuts Universal Services for all your lawn and landscaping needs.

I was especially happy that Carson knew how to do the weeding and pruning. I have had other folks help and I had to show every step and ended up doing most of the work myself. With a few directions as to what I wanted, Carson and his crew tackled the yard and did a good job. The weeds in the beds were almost knee high and they cleaned all of it up without also digging out the flowers and herbs! If they had any questions, they asked me which I appreciated. I will call him again.

I can't say enough good things about Carson and the two members of his crew (Roderick & Fred) he brought with him for what was supposed to be just 2 hours of clearing out and organizing the room above my mother's garage. Once Carson arrived, saw what I had hired them to do and took a glance at some very unkempt spaces in my mother's yard, his attitude was simply, "Alright, there's plenty to do, so let's get it done." And within 15 minutes of their arrival, Carson's crew was hard at work sorting, boxing up and rearranging years of unorganized storage (having me decide what to keep, donate or throw out), and Carson was out in the yard with a weed wacker in his hands! Honestly, when I hired Carson, my hope was to at least get a really good start with the organization of that room. What I had by the time they left was a completely organized room with donations packed up and trash bagged up and outside. I also had some extremely high weeds cut down, an overgrown bush trimmed down to appropriate size, and a heavy mattress, box springs and rails taken upstairs in my mother's house put together where I wanted it. All in less than 2 and a half hours! Carson would not take money for the extra time, but I insisted on paying him some extra for moving the bed because it was very heavy (it took all 3 men to get it upstairs). I HIGHLY recommend Carson and his team to anyone needing any of the multitude of services he provides - organization and lawn care especially!
