Description of Work: Initially, I used Angie's List long distance. I was living in Houston, TX and needed work done on a house I was moving to in Richmond, VA. I selected 3 A-rated providers from Angie's List to submit quotes for the work I needed to have done. Mike Burton of Chase Inc won. His quote was $1,000.00 less than the other provider who responded to my request. |The first step was to have the city bring gas lines to my house. Mike took care of all the permits and dealt with the initial bureaucratic run-around. |Mike and his team furnished and installed: |-gas piping for a gas furnace, water heater and range |-(1) 60,000 btu 95% horizontal gas furnace and coil |-horizontal flue venting |-hook to existing heat pump for A/C |-hook to existing ductwork and electrical |-remove the existing furnace |-(1) 40 gallon 40,000 btu side venting water heater |-hook to the existing water lines |-remove the existing water heater |Additionally the crew brought in pads to level out the water heater and a new vent to the outside wall. They also stubbed in the gas line for the range that has yet to be installed. When they were done the area was left spotless. |All the crew members were courteous and professional. This was a big job and I absolutely would recommend Chase Inc/Mike Burton to anyone looking for skilled and responsive plumbing team. |
