I liked that they gave me a 2 hour window of when they would be here and they were here at the beginning of it and they called me and let me know they were on their way. They were very easy to talk to and the person they sent out, Lee, was very knowledgeable and personable.

Very responsive, nice people. Job was more difficult than anticipated due to size of the unit, etc etc, but all in all they did a good job. Would use again.

He was very professional and explained things well. I feel like I now have rapport with them and I can trust him. I think he worked the hardest out of anyone I have seen in a long time. I was so very happy with their service.

I have used them for close to 20 years now and they are my go-to people. I will always use them in the future.

Called Carroll with an emergency leak - originally they said they wouldnt be able to get someone there until the next day, but after a call back, they were there within 30 minutes. The two guys that came were professional and experienced. The leak was in a very difficult spot between a lot of existing structures, but they were able to manuever and fix the leak after two hours of work. A family friend has used them for years and has always said that they arent the cheapest, but they are always fair and the job is always done right. After this experience, I would completely agree. I will be calling them again if we have any other emergencies.

They were just wonderful! Extremely prompt, professional and polite! They came to our house right away after our downstairs toilet began overflowing. They reamed out the sewer pipe and encountered roots that were blocking the pipe. The next day another crew came out to send a camera down the pipe where they found a break about midway between our house and the street. They returned 3 days later and dug up the pipe, replaced the broken fitting, covered it up and raked out the yard where they had made the repair. We could not have asked for a better experience than we received from Carroll Plumbing. Many thanks to Jim and the crew!

They didn't call me back to set up appointment, as they promised. Also acted as if they didn't want me as a customer.

They were very knowledgeable. They were quick to come out and get the job done. They did the job well and were almost six thousand dollars cheaper than their competitor.

Syd Chapman responded quickly to my request for an estimate and after we accepted the estimate they quickly began the work. We had not originally planned on replacing the main water line, however during the repairs they discovered that the galvanized main line had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. I was out of town at the time, however Mr Chapman oversaw the work and ensured that the line was replaced by early the next morning, so that a tile contractor working in the house had water in order to finish tile work. Mr. Chapman, keep me up to date on the work and he was very professional and polite.

. We had new counter tops put in the kitchen so Carroll Plumbing & Heating Inc disconnected the existing kitchen sink dish washer and disposer and after the counter top were in, they reconnected everything. They were recommended to us. They were prompt and they did a good job.

I was so impressed with this company and itscustomer service apporach that I will use them exclusively in the future. Accommodated my schedule for an estimate. Was here on time. Super professonial from the front office to the lperson giving the estimate to the installers. Patiently answered all of my questions. Explained exactly what they were going to do. Performed the service the same day as the estimate due to a morning cancellation. Called me to tell me when they were finished. Cost was right in the middle of the estimate range provided to me. No surprizes when I returned home to see the final product. Everything works perfectly.

I called Carroll about mid-morning and they had plumbers there WITH the repair materials around lunchtime. The work was completed quickly and cleanly. I had a question about some water near the repair that I thought might be another leak and they confirmed that it was just a result of the leak they repaired. Prompt, affordable and thorough.

They gave us a new water heater. The work was terrific. We had leak in our old water heater. They came, removed this, and replaced it with a new larger high efficiency water heater. They took care of all the problems we have been having and gave us something great.

Contact them for a estimate to install AC in a 60 year old house. They showed up on time and were thorough in looing at the houe. They said they would send me a proposal in a few days. I was contact nearly 3 weeks later with a request to come out again to look at situation before drafting a proposal. I moved on so I do not know the quality of their work.

It was basically just a diagnostic job. They basically identified that it wasn't a plumbing problem, but rather it is a tile or structural leak. They were helpful in pin pointing the problem and it was also clear that the diagnosis was outside of the expertise of them. They were knowledgeable.

This company has performed other services in the past such as replacing hot water heater and I have always found them to be responsive and do quality work.

We liked their professionalism, quality and their reputation. We also liked their service and clean-up. They are just our plumbers and have done some other installations for us as well.

Good company and company representative

I thought it was a very good price. They had to take out an old sink and install the new sink, install new faucets, take out an old garbage disposal and install the new garbage disposal and a water purifier that has several different filtering directions. It was a fairly complicated job. They were very professional. The workers were good to work with and they were very friendly. They gave me an accurate quote. They did a good job on the installation. Everything is working fine. I think they are a good company. I had been looking for alternatives for quite a while to see if I could save some money. I finally decided that the job was complex enough that if I didn't get a professional to do it, they might not do it right. I looked up Angie's List and they were rated high. I also heard about them from my real estate broker when I bought the house. I called them and asked them to come out and give an estimate and they did. They did the work about a week later. It was a very good experience with them. I was totally satisfied with what they did. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Bathroom tub was stopped up and draining very slow.This had been a problem for months. I had the tub drain snaked by another plumbing company who suggested the only way to fix the problem was to tear up the floor or fix going through the ceiling to the stack on the roof.Estimated $700-800. Several attempts by Carroll's plumber Larry to snake the drain was also not clearing the stoppage.Larry consulted with and obtained assitance from another plumber name Pete who decided to remove the toilet and clear the trap. The extra effort paid off and the drain was cleared. Larry was very helpful in explaining the problem and what he was trying to do to open the drain.Pete added his suggestion to try one more thing that actually opened the drain.I'm thankful they were concerned enough to try additional things and not settle to tear up the floor.Thanks Larry and Pete.

A plumber came to my home on a Friday to fix a leaking shower faucet. He took the faucet apart, discovered he had the incorrect part, put it back together, and said he'd be back on Monday with the correct part. We used the shower Friday night and, about 15 minutes later, water came pouring through our downstairs living room ceiling. Bottom line is we had a huge mess on our hands about 11:00 p.m. My husband cut the water line while I called Carroll. We were unable to get someone on the phone, so I tried to locate another plumber. Another plumber was able to come early in the morning and discovered the plumber had reassembled the faucet incorrectly so the water travelled the path of least resistance -- over the shower pan, down the wall, and through the living room ceiling. So then the clean up began. One of Carroll's owners offered to have his drywall guy out there that afternoon to fix the ceiling. I think I was supposed to be impressed with the offer but I've done my share of renovations and knew that drywalling over that mess was going to be a mold issue waiting to happen. So I tactfully told them they were not dealing with an amateur and the clean up was going to be more costly and time consuming than a mere drywall job. At one point, one of their supervisors who came out to assess the damage, rolled his eyes and sighed over-dramatically at my mere mention of replacing the bathroom floor. He called it "unnecessary and extreme" and said "letting it air out would do it wonders." A visit from a water damage company and three estimates from contractors of my choice proved me correct -- the damage was more extensive than "airing it out." Walls and ceilings, the bathroom subfloor and tile, and all the shower tiles near the shower door needed to be replaced. We also found out a toilet Carroll had replaced a few weeks prior was leaking and also needed to be replaced (apparently, both a product defect and a weak seal). So, if you've ever lived through a significant renovation, you'll know I had renovation drama for several months -- many people in my home every day (insurance adjusters, water damage readings, carpenters, plumbers, drywallers), dust everywhere, and tile guys calling me at work telling me they can't find the exact color of my existing tile and asking "Would a shade off be okay ma'am?" So drama I didn't need or want but lived through. And no, a shade off was not going to be okay. What did I get from Carroll? Delays, delays, delays. Even down to the insurance company. And not one apology. Not one written or verbal apology for the drama and mess I had to live with through the holidays. I did receive an exasperated call from a plumber a few weeks ago at 6:54 a.m. wanting to know if I was going to need the toilet he had waiting for me. "This toilet's been taking up space in my shop for months," he said. I said I wouldn't be needing the toilet or anything else from Carroll again.

I called last week to schedule an appointment for heating and ac repair at one of my rental properties. I was told that someone could come out on Monday however, it was too early to give a general time of day and they would call me on Friday to offer a general time of day they could come. I never received a call but decided to call early Monday afternoon. I was then told they would not be coming out and could not give me a day they would be available. Noone called me and they didn't seem too concerned with customer service. In addition, my renters were inconvenienced. I will not be calling this company again nor will I ever recommend them.

Stopped up garbage disposal. They came out the same day that I called, fixed the problem quickly, tested everything, left the kitchen just as they found it. Polite, courteous ... couldn't have asked for more!
