The job started December 13, 2012 and the contract end date was January 27, 2013. This is when the work was to be completed by. The work was not completed by then, and is still not completed. He was then suppose to be finished today, and it is still not finished. The quality of what has been done is low, and looks like a rushed job. I tried to let him know that, but there was no communication. I filed a complaint with the BBB on March 11, 2013, and he never responded to the complaint. He has already been paid in full, because he told me he needed to get the supplies. I believe I have been fair throughout the process. The kitchen is small (my whole home is only 1500 Sq. Ft.), and should not be taking this long. Others have looked at the job, and said it should have taken 3 days to a week to complete. He works very slow, lacks communication skills, lacks respect for you and your property, and I do not recommend him. Note: His skillset was very limited and resulted in addition work for no reason such as removing all my baseboards from the wall instead of only removing the shoe molding. This resulted in raised, inconsistent and incomplete baseboards around the room. Also, he denied damages to other parts of the room which should have been part of his touch-up work which he never completed. I have pics to share. Send request to my email address: tracywilliams3000@comcast.net 5/26/13 update: One of the doors he shaved to accomondate his "homemade" floor transition broke. He shaved too much off the bottom of the door which split at the bottom. I contacted him to notify him of the problem which of course and as expected went unanswered. Even after he's gone, I'm still spending money to correct his tacky work. In addition, beneath my appliances he stopped short of adding tiles and this has been an huge issue with moving my oven and diswasher for periodic sweeping. It's a huge hassel to level them since half the floor is tile and the half is not. Just tacky...
Description of Work: I hired him to remodel my kitchen (counter / bartop and ceramic tile flooring)
