They did a great job. They were very fast and curteous and everything looked great. They were knowledgeable.

They were very professional and they figured out what the problem was after a couple of other contractors couldn't figure it out. I was very pleased with them. Other people wanted to charge me $300 and that was not what the problem was. They were very knowledgeable about the chimney problem. They knew what they were doing and they were right on the point. I would use them again.

Capitol City repaired an active leak and I asked for a general inspection on the remainder of my roof. In addition to repairing the leak they replaced several broken and missing slate. I was very satisfied in the response and work. I called and they responded with a visit to my house either the same day or next day. They were on site doing the repair within a couple of days. I used this company many (10 ?) years ago and they performed well then and now. I will definitely call them again when I need my slate roof repaired.

They are excellent. They do quality work. They don’t do extra work that does not need to be done. I asked him if I should use copper gutters and he discouraged me from it as it would cost me three times as much. Since I have a large roof and many trees over it he advised me to stick with what I have because the galvanised roof is stronger as it takes a lot more of the beating and it would hold more weight. Actually the design of the roof is such that it is too big for the amount of gutters in certain places. It is a Tudor House so it has different gables. The centre cable is almost too much roof for that one little gutter. So he put the biggest gutter and the biggest down spout which is really important and I did not realise that. They were very careful not to destroy any shrubbery as they were going up the ladder. They were very conscientious and I appreciate all of that. After the hurricane they cleaned the roof and the gutters for me. They are particularly good in offering a really good price for what you get. I would use them in the future.

They are very reasonable, and the owner is a man of absolute integrity. Their prices are competitive, and they do a great job. I have asbestos shingles, and he goes to houses that are being torn down and gets replacement shingles for me. I have recommend them to my friends, and have no problem recommending them to anyone with very high standards. Mr. Johnson calls me when it is time to clean the gutters, and when he is in the area, so I never even have to think about it. They are a great, honest company, and they are extremely professional and respectful. I have never felt anything but completely comfortable around any of the workers, who all stay with him year after year, and Mr. Johnson is just one of those rare individuals who you meet and know you can trust him.

I have used these roofers for more than 15 years. I have a circa 1950 house with asbestos shingle roof - Mr. Johnson will often come across weathered asbestos shingles on demolition sites and will set some aside for me at a cost of $0.50 to $1 each. This has proven very useful when I have broken shingles and want a replacement that won't stand out. He and his sons and employees have also found and repaired the sources of several leaks over the years. They are always professional, courteous, friendly, and most importantly completely honest. I recommend this company without reservation.

They showed up to do the job when they said they would and in my opinion, they were the best roofing company around. We couldn t have been more pleased. They cleaned up very well and didn t leave any nails or stray shingles lying around. We got a great reference on them. My husband handled the bill, so I didn t know how much they charged us.
