Description of Work: Mr. Shorter came over and gave us a quote. That evening I told my husband about Mr. Shorter's visit and cost of his work. He asked if Mr. Shorter was licensed and insured and I told him that I thought he was but I couldn't find his flier to confirm it...so I called Mr. Shorter and left a message on his voice mail. Later that evening, when I returned home, there was a message on my answering machine from Mr. Shorter. He sounded extremely mad and said the answers to my questions was YES!!! He said he would call me in the morning ( the morning he was to do the work) but he never did!!!! And he didn't show up to do the work either!!! In my opinion, this is extremely poor business practices !!!!!!! I cannot in good conscience refer him to anyone. Hope this helps others who may think about using him something to consider.

+ -1 moreThe project went well. Bruce and his team showed up as promised and completed all the trimming and tree removal in just one day.
Description of Work: Bruce and his team removed two medium size trees from behind our garage and cleared out all the undergrowth from the same area. In addition, they trimmed back several trees adjacent to the garage and down the entire length of the driveway. He did all this in just a day and mulched and hauled away the tree parts, etc. This is the second time we used Bruce. A couple of years ago, he removed a large old, mostly decayed, cherry tree that was covered in poison ivy from our back yard--and did that for a reasonable price, too.

Description of Work: I called several times and left messages. He never returned a call, so I had to find someone else to do the job.

+ -1 moreThe experience was great. He was fast and efficient. I spoke with Bruce Shorter himself. He was great to get along with. He understood just what I needed. I told him exactly what I wanted and he did exactly that. The price was good. He was very professional. I would use him in the future.
Description of Work: Bruce Shorter Tree Works came out probably 2 years ago and took down a couple of huge trees, ground the stumps out, and took away all the debris.

+ -1 moreCrew did all required work and cleaned up after. They have equipment for tall trees. I have called them about another job. Bruce responds reasonably fast.
Description of Work: He came out and gave an estimate. His company trimmed several bushes.

+ -1 moreThey did a very professional job on the oak trees. They were also very careful while cutting them down. The price was very reasonable for the service and we would use them again.
Description of Work: They trimmed down two oak trees on our property. The crew hauled away the limbs when they were finished.
