Brendan Julian Home Repair & Maintenance

Excellent. Mr. Julian called in reply to a message I had left and scheduled a time to come by. He called to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. He was thoughtful in assessing what I asked to be done and making sure the details were agreed upon, such as the location of the punching bag and the thickness of the wood that I wanted on top of the cabinets. All of the work was done very well. He provided information about why my floor register was coming apart and details on the sizing that I should look for if I wanted to replace it. Small details like that are so very appreciated. I was pleased to be able to get so many things I had on my 'to do' list done and will definitely call again for future work.

He did an excellent job. We will use him in the future.

Mr. Julian provided me with professional services and jobs that were completed to perfection. He responded to phone calls and emails in a timely fashion and always came to my home as scheduled. He was very flexible with times. The door and gate he adjusted had previously been worked on by another national so-called home repair service that had done a less than credible job. Mr. Julian fixed their mistakes and my back gate finally opens and closes as it should! He did a perfect job replacing my back porch and cleaning up and removing all debris. He replaced some rotting molding on an inside window and also caulked the outside to prevent future damage. It is so nice to know that there is an honest, reliable, and professional person working at my home and that I do not have to be here the entire time. I look forward to using Mr. Julian's services for my future home maintenance needs.

He completed the job 2 days which was very impressive to us. He does first rate work. He sticks to his price quotes. He is very efficient and does not waste time. He is prompt and shows up when he says he will. He will do exactly what he say he will no matter how long is takes. I would call him back for a service in a heartbeat. It is very easy to contact him for a service. I typically email him whenever I need something.

This is the third time that Brendan has done work at my home. He is reliable, always on time, and consistently does a great job. The door patch is hardly visible and won't be noticeable at all once it's painted, the door latches perfectly now, and the porch light works great. I wasn't aware that I could get a standard overhead porch light that was motion activated until he mentioned it and it's just what I needed. In the past he has also done some drywall repair in my laundry room and fixed an a/c vent. Overall I've been very pleased with his work.

This is the third time we've had Brendan do work for us. Just as with the first two jobs, he was well, first class all the way. Prompt, efficient, all work performed exactly as quoted and with 100% professionalism. Would we call on Brendan again - in a heartbeat.

I provided the material or mail that I want and Mr. Brendan provide all work to install the mail box. He made sure everything was done properly

Brendan is as good as it gets. He arrived on time, went straight to work and did exactly what needed to be done. He double checked his work to make sure everything was as it should be and cleaned up after himself (unlike a lot of trades people). He is courtesy and professional. His quote was fair and he didn't try to "sell" us on stuff we didn't need in order to pad the bill (unlike a lot of trades people). Would we use his services again? In a New York minute.

Completed all repairs to our satisfaction. Was extremely neat and professional. Would definitely use again.

We hired Brendan to do several projects in our kitchen. He moved some our existing cabinets over to make room for a dishwasher to fit and he installed the new dishwasher too. Moving the cabinets also required moving an electrical outlet that was built in. We also had him disconnect our plumbing to the kitchen sink before having new counter tops/sink installed, and then he reconnected the plumbing the day after installation, during which he changed our water on/off nozzles from the push-pull plastic ones to the more secure metal turning nobs. With the new sink, Brendan also made adjustments to the plumbing pipes and installed a new garbage disposal. Working with Brendan was great. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and kept me informed of what was happening or needed to be done. He was flexible with his schedule as we needed time to install new flooring into and past the new space for the dishwasher after he moved the cabinets, but before he put in the dishwasher. He was easy to communicate with and responded to my e-mails regularly. The only issue we ran into was a problem with a drawer not being able to open due to the handle of the dishwasher being in the way. I e-mailed Brendan a photo of the problem that night and he came out the very next day (on a Saturday) to make adjustments to fix it. I would absolutely recommend Brendan to anyone and will definitely work with him again in the future!

Very professional - prompt, courteous, and through. Even offered to order rare parts if a future repair required. A bit pricey for less than an hour's work but overall a good experience.

I had probably five people look at this appliance garage. Only one person was willing to give me an estimate. I didn’t like their solution. He thought about it and he came up with a very reasonable repair. He was able to get that done. He took care of the rest of my complaint in one morning. He was very reasonable on the price. With regard to responsiveness, I had to call him back originally. I would definitely use him again in the future.

It went well. He was very professional and very precise in his methods.

He did a very neat thorough job. He's very professional and a very conscientious worker. Definitely, I would hire him again. He picked up after himself. It was really a good find. I was pleased with his work. We had had him out one time before to do something minor and he had done a good job.

Brendan installed a fencing system that I had purchased onto our existing wood fence around our large back yard. He came by for a consultation prior to the installation and gave me suggestions on how to best carry out the project. The system is designed to keep our cats inside of our back yard (and to hopefully deter other cats from jumping into our yard as well). Brendan did the job quickly and efficiently, and he also purchased (at my request) additional materials and supplies (included in the price I noted above) that were required for the project. I am very pleased with the results, and ours cats are safe and happy now! Brendan is very professional, honest, experienced, and good at what he does. I would use his services again for any project around our house. I had used his services previously for a couple small jobs, so I was confident about hiring him for this project. Although he is listed as a handyman, he can certainly do large projects as well.

Brendan Julian did a great job for us. It was a small job but he scheduled the visit, kept in touch and showed up on time. His price was extremely reasonable and professional and quickly finished the work. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Julien could not have done a more perfect job with the installation of our French doors. The finished product was exactly what we wanted, right down to custom details like the finish on the door hardware and type of lock used. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Importantly, Mr. Julien left the room cleaner than it was when he left, and he went above and beyond to make sure the results were wonderful. He even repainted the entire wall just to cover the holes left where we took down the curtain rod. Mr. Julien clearly takes great pride in the quality of his work, and he should, because he is a very talented craftsman. We have already hired Mr. Julien to complete three other, smaller projects at our home, and we recommend him to all of our friends and family!

Mr Julian replied back on 15 July before 8am telling me that he was sorry that he could not perform the installation because he was booked solid through August. He provided me with contact information with another contractor that could possibly do the install for me. I will keep Mr. Julian in mind for my next remodeling project.

Everyting went wonderful and what was really great was he was very mindful of being noisey since I work from home. He doesn't try to upsell you and more sticks with what my proirity is and really gets what I want. He is absolutely wonderful and I would continue to use him.

I was very impressed with Mr. Julians professionalism. He took care of the projects I had asked about and did a very nice job. YES I would call him again for future odds and ends that need to be done around the house. AND YES I would recommend him!

It was a very good experience. He responded quickly and he was very professional. No problems and showed up on time.

Overall, it was a job well done.
