We had a flooding issue with previous sidewalk. Mr. Williams and his crew put in a beautiful new sidewalk with proper drainage and we had incredibly hard rains a few days ago and our sidewalk did not flood at all. We are completely satisfied with Mr. Williams and his crew. Job well done.

Of all the contractors I've had do work on my home in the past 16 yr., A. W. Masonry & Restoration is one of the very best. Mr. Williams is very professional, responsive, courteous and competent. His brick layer has 38 yr. of experience, as I recall, and has managed very large construction jobs in the past. The crew were punctual and very easy to work with; e.g., they were generous in determining how much of the old mortar to replace. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this contractor to others.

It went great. Mr. Williams and his crew were punctual and neat. The quality of the work was excellent. They arrive when they said they would and completed the work on time. I missed requesting some chimney work and Mr. Williams quoted a very fair price for the extra work, which was completed within two days. I highly recommend and would definitely use again.

The workers arrived as expected and did an excellent job on the steps and landing. At the conclusion all construction materials were cleaned up and taken away. The owner was present at the project initiation and checked back during the day and at the end of the job. He returned the following day to make sure everything had set up properly and we were satisfied with the work. We would have no hesitation in hiring this firm again for any other project.

AMAZING! I cannot say enough about how fantastic Alan and his team were. They were on-time and even more importantly exceeded my expectations in terms of the final product. I get compliments on their work all the time.

It went very well. Alan explained the whole process and his recommendations for the stairs, sidewalk, and driveway. I had some concerns with some of the planning that was explained, but he addressed and corrected all of them. He also helped us save a bit of money by recommending a resurface of the small concrete steps since they were in good shape. Everything turned out great! Very thorough, always returned phone calls, came out 30 days after the work was complete to check everything out. I highly recommend Alan and his team.

Fantastic. Alan was very prompt in setting up the appointment to review the project. He asked great questions and offered multiple solutions. He was looking for ways to save money and not spend it unnecessarily. I received an e-mail quote within a day and scheduled the work. Alan and his crew were always on time, if not early. At the beginning of each day, he explained their plan for the day and what work would be done. The crew was very polite and engaging with any questions I had. They cleaned up after each day was complete. The end product is fabulous and would give them a 12 out of 10 and would recommend to anyone needing his services.

I called AW Masonry based on the number of positive reviews that he has received. I contacted him via email on the weekend, I believe Saturday, and he responded to me by Sunday evening. The following day he came out to look at the job I needed and he gave me a quote. Price was very reasonable. I don't look for good deals - I look for fair price quality work. I then met with Alan so I could go over the job with him, so he knew exactly what I wanted. Super professional, super polite, real nice guy. I felt very comfortable letting him have my business. He completed the job as quickly as possible. There was a lot of rain in the forecast, and he was very diligent about when to pour so we did not need to deal with rework. The guy that did the finishing on the concrete did an exceptional job - he was from Hawaii, been doing this for around 17 years I believe . He also hung back to make sure nobody put their footprints in the wet concrete. He stayed at my house until it was dry enough so people could not damage it. I live in a high foot traffic area - somebody would have put their initials in the concrete. :) Overall, Alan and his team were EXCEPTIONAL. I know there are a lot of great tradesmen out there, but he will be the only one to get my business in the future.

Very responsive to phone calls. Timely on getting work completed. End result is everything I asked for and yes I am VERY picky. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family. Alan is incredibly professional and stakes his reputation on a job well done. He was very responsive and kept me informed of their schedule every step of the way. I'm having a bunch of work done on the house and am discovering that good communication seems to be the exception rather than the rule. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. The work they performed was top quality and they did a good job of matching the 80 year old lime mortar. I can tell where the work was done but only because I know where to look. It was also amazing what was involved in repairing some of the large cracks. They literally took out bricks all the way down one section of the wall. On the second story there was a small crack Alan had identified under a window. When his crew was up repairing it they determined that it went quite a bit further than you could see from the ground. They repaired the entire crack without charging me any extra. They could have just fixed what was obviously visible and I never would have known there was still a problem. But that is not the way Alan works. He and his crew obviously take pride in what they do and do a thorough job. I am highly satisfied with all of the work that was done and will absolutely hire Alan to do any other masonry repairs that are needed on my house.

Well, early February isn't the ideal time to be during masonry work, but circumstances dictated that we get this work done soon. The owner, Alan, said there may be some scheduling issues on account of cold weather, but was confident that he and his crew could work around the weather and get the work done. Well, he was right...both about the cold weather, and his ability to get the work done. In fact, to get some of the front walk done he had to erect a small scaffold, cover it with tarpaulins and blast a hot air heater to warm the stone and dry up some of the standing water. If you have ever had joints repointed, you know that there is ALOT of dust generated as well as failed mortar joints. His crew was careful to clean up after each day's work. As I said, he had to work around the weather a bit, but always kept me informed of his anticipated schedule. Very satisfied with the project.

Bricks of hearth were the height of three bricks , Alan's crew removed the bricks down to the floor and replaced with slate at floor level . We are very satisfied and happy with the results and the cost !

The work went well. Alan was professional and communicated well throughout the project. He worked with the roofer to insure a watertight end result. The new chimney looks great.

Alan came out prompltly and looked at areas we found that needed brick replaced and morter. We asked him to look at other areas to find other promblems. He found six windows lintels that needed to be replaced. Excellent work.

Alan Williams' team of workers were very professional, friendly and did an excellent job. Cory, Steve, Robert and Joachim worked hard getting everything ready for the concrete and Alan did an excellent job of making sure everything was done right.. At the end of ach day the work space was cleaned up and the trash carried away. I am very pleased with the final results and recommend this company without reservation.
