Atlas Fence Co Inc

First, I will say I found them by word of mouth reference. There were some good companies on Angie's List that also provided quotes and I was surprised not to see Atlas. I am happy to add them to this community. I got 5 estimates and 3 of which were priced very similarly...including Atlas. I went with my gut and chose the word of mouth reference, Atlas Fencing, over a service provider from the website. I had confidence based on my source and the fact they are a 62 year old company in Richmond that has worked almost entirely on such references. Walter was my main point of contact and I am pretty sure he is the owner of the company. I left a message originally and he returned my call the same day and we set up an appointment for an estimate less than 48 hours later. After the estimate, I received a quote around 24 hours later. That separated them from competition immediately. They were the easiest company by far to work with in those stages and probably a strong reason I chose them. Of the other companies, one got me a quote a week after and another even longer. The remaining two both took 2-3 days. So from the beginning, I appreciated the service. I will say a couple other companies had flashier sales guys and I am glad I didn't fall for that allure...Walter is just a nice guy who knew what he was talking about. The head of the crew that worked on my house was Keith...extremely nice guy. Started early every day and made sure everything looked good before he would start. I couldn't be there for the whole process so he helped explain things to my wife to make sure her needs were met as well. As I mentioned in the "services performed" section, we changed the game plan on him in the middle of the job and he didn't complain one bit. I don't know how many crews they have, but you can't go wrong with Keith. They should probably let him do some estimates...definite people person. He was always very nice to my wife and I and made us feel comfortable.
