+ -1 moreThe estimate was satisfactory but when the Brinks salesman told us we had to provide our Social Security numbers to be able to receive their service, we decided not to use them. The salesman said the SSN's were needed so they could do a credit check. This seemed a little suspect since the other alarm companies from which we received estimates did not require Social Security numbers. The salesman advised the only way Brinks would do business with us without providing our SSN's is if we paid for 3 years monitoring at $35/month up front. We ended up getting our service from another company because we felt it was risky giving out our SSN's when in our opinion that is not necessary.
Description of Work: Estimate for alarm system changes and monitoring.

+ -1 moreWE'VE ENJOYED SEVEN PLUS YEARS OF WORRY FREE HOME PROTECTION. WE'VE HAD FALSE ALARMS AND OUR SECURITY PROVIDER REPRESENTATIVES HAVE HANDLED OUR CONCERNS WITH GREAT CARE.
Description of Work: WE HAD AN ALARM SYSTEM INSTALLED IN OUR HOME SEVEN PLUS YEARS AGO TO PROTECT OUR HOME FROM BURGLARY. OUR MONTHLY RATE OF 25.15 IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE SENSE OF OUR SAFETY.
