The door is beautiful, quite and seals nicely. The company did a really great job, especially with cleanup and they did the job in an adequate amount of time. The installers were really professional.

Great customer service!

AAPCO is a trusted name. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of work done on our roof. We felt it was sort of rushed. They corrected most of the issues we had but tell us that time and heat will correct the concerns we have with the "flatness" of some of the shingles. As far as customer service, I have no complaints. They were easy to work with.

They are higher priced than most and the salesman (Willie Barnes) was not truthful about the workers being AAPCO employees. The roofers (subcontractors) were on time, worked hard and were polite. Problems started when AAPCO delayed the start date by 1 week. Jeff Wagner (Project Manager?) was difficult to work with - when discussing a new start date for the week of Thanksgiving I wanted some assurance that the work could be done in 3 days (weather permitting) but he just wouldn't commit. The job was completed on time but I felt like a hostage to being at the property without knowing for sure if the workers would be there. I received a call from Mr. Wagner after the work was completed - he wanted payment. When I told him I wasn't at the property and I asked for an invoice, he was rude and belligerent and I ended up hanging up on him. I spoke to Mike Brexler (VP) about the issues I encountered with Mr. Barnes and Mr. Wagner. He has been responsive. However, I will not use this company again.

No communication re our siding project. The only time we knew someone was coming was the 1st sales call. Otherwise workers showed up unexpectedly. Contract was signed 9/18, work was completed 11/23. In all that time, no calls to let us know status of project & our calls were ignored. No AAPCO supervisor or anyone who spoke English on site during work. This resulted in them having to replace gutters they were supposed to save & they did. We do live 2 hrs from Richmond but if they didn't want to take on the project, they shouldn't have. The house does look nice but only time will tell the quality of the work. VP called after initial review & will address communication issues with staff so other customers will not have same problems.

Investing in a huge project like our roof is always a bit daunting; as is trying to find the right balance between company reputation, materials and frankly having a proper presentation as to make an informed choice....When Thomas came to our house it was clear AAPCO was a company we could count on for quality work at a reasonable price...The roofers themselves were, polite, communicative and a pleasure to work with. They did a wonderful job doing the planned roofing work and fixed other issues that arose with skill. All and all a seamless experience...

I thought they may been over priced

Incredible company to work with. From the sales to the workmanship, the company completely exceeded my expectations. I had gutters and a new roof on faster than I ever would have expected. The price was extremely reasonable and I will definitely use this company in the future.

Roofing work was excellent but the cleanup needed improvement. There were a multitude of nails left in the driveway, back porch, and backyard. The installation crew was very professional and worked very fast. The shingles used by AAPCO are high quality GAF shingles. Overall we are satisfied with everything except the cleanup.

Excellent customer service. Sales representative was on time and provided an educational presentation on roofing options. And great price. We selected this company to install a new roof. We would recommend them to others.

Quite prompt, extremely knowledgeable, learned a ton about what needed to be done. Kept me up to date with everything. Very satisfied with everything.

I agree with other reviews that the initial sales pitch was a bit much. Our roof looks great, though! The workers were courteous and very quick and efficient. They did a great job on installation and were very thorough in clean up afterward.

During the initial appointment, the sales rep was a little too much over-the-top on the sales pitch, considering this was the first company we tried to get an estimate with. But I guess that is how construction sales are supposed to go. However, they made an offer we could not refuse and the quality of the product was highly desired. Scheduling the work was easy and fast. The roof and gutter replacement was done on 2 separate days. Friendly workers. One of the workers accidentally broke our lamppost light with a shingle, but I was able to find a replacement and get reimbursed very promptly. Overall, very impressed with the work. Would recommend them to others, indeed.

My asphalt shingles look cheap. They did not do a good clean-up job and poor installation at the angles on my roof. They had to come back twice to repair. I would not recommend them.
