From the day we met George Wells to get an estimate on replacing our deck floor, we were very comfortable with George's home style approach to our project. He surveyed the entire deck, top to bottom, and assured us that we didn't need the amount of work we had anticipated. Less than 25% of the floor was problematic to be replaced. He went through all the decking and determined which parts should be done and which ones were optional. Of course, we decided to do all of the necessary and optional repairs to include an addition we had been planning for a while but did not fit into our original budget. Since we were going to do less replacing of the deck surface. that freed up funds to do the addition, which came out beautiful and very functional. We have been so impressed by George and his crew in all aspects of our project. From the estimate discussions to their arrival time, to the work ethic the crew showed to the final product, we are so happy with the professionalism displayed by all concerned with our project. One of the best contractors that we have worked with in our 13 years in this area! Our deck took 2-3 days to complete, the workers were on time, cleaned up after and non invasive (I work from home). We LOVED the outcome. We are hoping to have them do a remodel of the front porch before the Summer is out! We plan on using them for all our remodeling needs. Wells and Wells Construction is without a doubt the best contractor I've done business with over my 30 years as a homeowner. George and Patricia Wells work incredibly well together with George personally overseeing projects and Patricia providing essential support vital to the business. Some of my observations of Wells and Wells include: - Contacted me within 24 hours of referral through Angi.com - Made a special trip to come out on a Sunday to determine work to be done and materials required; provided a written estimate within 48 hours. - Promptly replied to my emails, answering my questions with enough detail to avoid the need for further inquiry; Truly excellent communication! - Scheduled work to begin five days after accepting proposal. - Workers arrived at 8:00a.m. wasting no time getting started and working diligently with nary a break throughout the day; superior work ethics with owner George setting the example working along side his crew. - Performed every task with great precision and attention to detail. - Resolved several unforeseen issues without resorting to shortcuts and half measures. Didn't give up regardless of the work required to solve the problem. Not only did they correct these issues, they actually improved the original design and construction of my deck. - Completed project within an hour of the 1.5 day estimate, literally half the time I anticipated it'd take. In summary, Wells and Wells performed far and above my expectations. George and Patricia Wells take pride in their work and genuinely place customer satisfaction at the top of their list of customer service goals.

The best way for me to sum up my experience with Wells & Wells is simply. You are doing business with just genuinely good people. They take pride in their work, and their customer interactions. Our deck was destroyed by falling trees during the snowstorm in January. We had a regular wood deck and we thought the damage was extensive. After many contractors Wells was the only one that came by and provided an honest assessment. They didnâ t cut corners for cost purposes, they were just honest and real about what needed to be repaired. The not only repaired our deck, they almost completely rebuilt it. For all intents and purposes we now have a new deck. We were able to upgrade from wood to Trex (due to the current cost of lumber). The folks at Wells even told us about the cost differences in wood and Trex and provided professional advice in helping us upgrade. They never tried to price gouge us, they never took advantage. They arrived everyday on time and completed the work on schedule. Throughout the project they would check in to ask how I felt about their work as the project progressed, and they walked me through once it was completed. My wife and I were so impressed with their work that we will be contracting with them from other future projects to improve our home. Itâ s just great to know companies like this are still around.
