Creative Concepts Landscaping

JonPaul provided a great plan for the renovation. It included a new walkway around the south side of our house that tied into the path down to the water - giving us a dry walk from our parking lot to the new patio. He increased the size of the patio area at the waterfront and designed a rock swale from the culvert at the top of the property to the lake to channel the rain water. Renovation went very well, except for the weeks of rain which delayed work for a time. Once the weather cleared progress was very quick and the crew worked diligently. They always stowed equipment and cleaned up the lot before they left for the day. JonPaul checked in with us regularly to confirm our choices when any issues popped up (i.e.replacement of some break-wall). He worked along side the crew and when called away returned to carefully monitor the progress. Just before completion of the project we added renovation of the one original piece of sidewalk which JonPaul agreed should be done now rather than later and he willingly took it on despite his busy schedule. We are extremely pleased with the finished project. The swale is an architectural feature which effectively channels the rain water. The sidewalks and patio were replaced with Rosetta Stone pavers - providing a smooth walkway from back to front to the water. JonPaul placed sod in the yard area joining the neighbors on the north and the remaining yard areas were mulched. We expect to add bushes and perennials to those areas in the future. We highly recommend JonPaul (Creative Concepts) to anyone considering hardscape/landscape renovations.

We engaged Jon Paul to hard-scape and landscape our property on Lake Anna. His craftmanship and and attention to detail regarding the hard-scaping was excellent. After more than two years, the patio and walkways still look as good as the day they were installed. He is pleasant to work with and listened to what we were looking for. He made suggestions for us to consider which was much appreciated. Additionally, Landscaping services, including grading, installing drainage pipes and inground sprinkler system, planting trees, installing landscaping beds, preparing and seeding new lawn. We had a few trees that died that summer due to extreem heat but he came out and he replaced them (included in original quote) when we called. I plan to engage Jon Paul again as we do more work on the property in the near future.

We'd seen other work JonPaul has done, and were impressed by the quality as well as that fact that the customer, a neighbor, was very happy with him and had returned to him for multiple projects. We wanted to widen our gravel drive, replace some deteriorated timber steps, and create a winding path down a steeply sloped backyard. When he came to look at the project, he was on time, wasn't rushed, and suggested tweaks to what we had in mind. Only because he was very busy and wouldn't be able to get to us for over a month did we decide on someone else. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him for landscaping projects.

Great job by owner Jonpaul and his crew. Very rarely in today's market do you get more than you expected in a contractor and that is what we got with Creative Concepts. Creative Concepts does quality work and keeps the homeowner engaged in the project. The professionalism by Jonpaul is evident from start to finish of the product. I highly recommend this company for landscaping and hardscaping projects.
