NATIONAL LOCK & KEY

Andre was great. He called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let us know he was on the way. He arrived on time, was friendly, and quickly changed two door locks. He also showed us how to reset the garage door sensor and pin. Overall excellent service that I would highly recommend.

We have old, complicated locks, and they worked with us to find an acceptable solution. They even asked me to send pictures ahead of time in order to get a more accurate quote. Andres was great.

First its really simple to rekey a door if you have the right tools that most of us don't and they arrived in their scheduled time window, rekeyed four locks I needed, so it turned out OK,. Here's the "but" I had to call the company and ask that they consider a deadbolt that's keyed inside and outside (double cylinder) as one lock, which they nicely made an exception, because they consider that one lock as "two locks" in part of the 4 lock deal. You could have "three" locks on one door and it's $25 for additional rekeying. I had no idea that a "lock" would be considered "two locks". Also, be aware they don't make keys for you, they only give you pre-made keys. So, if you have situation where you want to put all locks under one existing key they will do it, but, you don't get the 4 new keys as promised. I have to go pay to make keys I thought I would get with this deal. After reading this you now know something I didn't before they came, hope it helps you.

The appointment was the Tuesday after snowmagedden 2016. They showed up on time and performed the work quicked and efficiently. Will definitely reuse them again.

Purchased a new home and wanted to get locks rekeyed. Saw the deal on Angie's List and positive reviews. Purchased the deal. Scheduling was quick and easy. Communication was great - including an update about 30 minutes prior to arrival. Locks were rekeyed and new keys provided. Good service and quick response.

Fantastic - the locksmith showed up on-time (and on short-notice) right after we closed and did an efficient job at all work. Will definitely use National Lock and Key in the future!

Scheduling was simple and direct; customer service personnel where polite and helpful. No problem with weekend hours. Technician who came out to perform the service was knowledgeable and helpful. He fully discussed the job, identifying pitfalls and issues in advance and working through an array of options to fix them. He worked with us to ensure that we had solutions that best fit our budget. Completely satisfied with this service. We originally purchased the four-pack of lock-rekeying for $119. I ended up paying an additional $100 for additional parts and labor during the job as I needed some locks replaced and had more than four to service (which I knew). The cost for the extra items was significantly higher, but the technician worked with us to make it as economical as possible and I still considered this a comparative value. Advice: If you have a double deadbolt lock (which uses a key on both sides), it counts as two locks for re-keying. If you have a deadbolt and a knob, those also are separate locks (but that's mentioned in the purchase materials). This means you could easily have three locks to re-key on a single door. Make sure you accurately count your locks.

Everything was great! The locksmith arrived on time, and quickly rekeyed all the locks in the house. He was very professional and even noticed that the deadbolt on the front door was sticking a bit and fixed that for free. Would definitely use them again in the future.
