NATIONAL LOCK & KEY

I contacted three locsksmiths on Angies List, National Lock and Key responded 2 days earlier than the other two. They were very flexible with the appointment, called when they were on the way, showed up on time and worked very quickly. The pricing was crystal clear and the technicician (Andre) was very friendly, professional, and helpful! He made minor adjustments to the doors for free to ensure that they closed as smoothly as possible. Would highly recommend. One of the best Angies List experiences I have had! Thank you.

They were able to come out the same day even though we called at noon that day, and performed the work very well. The technician arrived on time and worked quickly to provide us with new keys.

It went very well. National Lock and Key had a "deal" on Angie's List. They were highly rated on Angie'l List. Started off online to take advantage of the deal. E-mail exchanges went well. I switched to the phone to schedule the work. That worked well also. They showed up on time. I explained what I needed. They explained what they would do to achieve what I wanted. I understood the way he explained what he would be doing. I don't remember exactly when they left but I would guess it was about 1 hour to do the 3 doors. I definitely would use them again. Had the work done because my wife's van was broken it to and her purse was stolen. The purse contained the usual credit cards but also her driver's license (showing our address) and her house keys. Decided it was not worth the risk as to whether or not the thieves might come to the house with the keys when we weren't home. We live in Alexandria but the Montgomery County Police called and told us that in serving a search warrant they found some of my wife's credit cards. So at least the thieves have been caught, in jail and will be prosecuted.

Provider was very professional. He was punctual and explained the changing lock process since I just recently purchased my first home. He was also able to change my locks so that I went from 5 keys to 1 key. Very helpful. The cost was reasonable too. He took the time to make sure that the dead bolt lock caught correctly in my lock. I would recommend this company.

Provider called 20 minutes before arriving and after a quick examination gave me options and suggestions to increase security and quality of the locks. He ended up replacing two locks with my approval and providing me a key for a total of 4 locks. I was busy with another installation, but he worked well on his own. My only concern was the vehicle he arrived in did not appear to have decals. I don't have an issue with it, but it was something I noticed. Overall, happy with the service, quality, professionalism, and price.

Manuel called before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. He was extremely professional and friendly. He walked me through everything that he was going to do and discussed pricing with me before beginning. He was already aware that I had purchased an Angie's List coupon. Manuel worked hard the whole time he was in the house. He was able to complete everything I had asked him to do, plus an extra rekey for a screen door which I decided I wanted later. When there was a change in pricing, he left me know before moving ahead to make sure I was okay with the change. Manuel walked me through the electronic lock manual and showed me how to use the lock. Manuel answered any questions I had and provided expert advice about security. I highly recommend Manuel and National Lock and Key.

Pretty smooth process - when I called, the person who answered was very friendly and helpful. When I told her I'd found the company through Angie's List, she referenced a deal that they had going on for Angie's List members - 4 locks rekeyed for $119. She set up the appointment in a timely fashion. A 2-hour window was given for service; the technician arrived with a half hour left in that window. He was very pleasant and quickly rekeyed all locks necessary, providing 2 keys for each (I think the service I purchased included 1 key for each lock, but since I only had 3 locks done, he provided 2 for each).

It went well. The company was responsive, available to get an appointment scheduled quickly, and they did a good job.

Very smooth! The technician was professional, responsive, and cleaned up after himself. He added on the fifth lock for a nominal fee (the deal I purchased was for 4 locks). I don't remember how much the extra lock was, but it was very reasonable (cost above is approximate). The keys and locks work smoothly. Great experience scheduling, too. Would not hesitate to use again!

I bought a big deal for $119 to rekey four locks. Called the company, a very friendly receptionist picked and explained the process and schedule the date and time I wanted. the locksmith called me 30mts prior to his arrival. after arrival he explained the charges and asked me if I wanted to proceed with the job. He did have a hard time in opening the doors, but was very patient and walked me through the process. 30 minutes later I had a working door with 4 keys. No complaints and will use this company in the future in a heartbeat. Thanks

I'm sorry I've forgotten the name of the locksmith, but he did a great job and was very professional. He made some needed adjustments to the strikes on a couple of my doors without charging me extra. I recommend this company.

Everything went extremely well. The appointment was made quickly. I was told that I'd receive a call from the locksmith when he/she was 20 minutes away. I did receive the call, the locksmith showed up within the promised window of time, he was gracious, worked quickly and everything turned out well. I would highly recommend the company and especially the locksmith, Manuel. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

Locksmith called and arrived early which was just fine with me. He explained all charges and how much I had saved by purchasing the deal on Angie's list. I was aware of approximate charges because I had talked to someone on the phone when I made the appointment. The charges were equal to estimate given me. The locksmith was efficient and also answered all my questions. Definitely would use again.

Arrived on time, professional and quick. I double checked all work before he left and found the front door lock was difficult to turn with the new key. He figured it out and got it functioning properly. Accepted my credit card but did not print out a receipt which he said would be coming via email. It never did.

It all went very well. Quick and painless. We now have access to our rooms with keys that we didn't have before.

This was for a rental property that I own. They were really easy to work with and made things very easy for me and my tenant. It was easy to schedule and the tech did a great job! I will use them again.

We have several different kinds of locks, but they were able to change all of them. Very professional and courteous. Called before arriving and finished in less than an hour. Let me know exactly what was being done before starting and gave some good advice on our doors moving forward. Would recommend and use again.

Communication via Angie's list email was quick. Same day service. Andre called and was right on time as promised. He was very polite and professional, made some good recommendations and was quick and efficient. Definitely will use this company again.

Manuel was prompt, worked quicker than quoted, he said it would take him about an hour and he was done in about half an hour. He was friendly, corteous and also offered advice on which brands of locks were better. He also suggested other ideas to help make our more secure.

I was impressed by National Lock and Key from the start -- I sent them an inquiry via the Angie's list message system and received a response within hours. The customer service contact was very helpful and was able to provide me with a ballpark estimate for my job. When I contacted them to schedule the job, again, they were very quick to respond and very clear about the cost of the service call, and other potential costs. The technician (Manuel) called about 30 minutes before he arrived (well within the 2-hour window I was quoted), and once he looked at the lock set and listened to my description of the problem, he was able to resolve it very quickly for me and without performing any unnecessary work. Specifically, I thought I'd have to have a second deadbolt installed, but Manuel was able to repair the existing one which saved me about $75. Plus, Manuel was extremely pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend National Lock and Key.

Showed up during the assigned window. Was a little surprised that the technician arrived in a private/unmarked vehicle. But he was very courteous and professional and provided some helpful advice about home security in general.

It was fine. They gave us good options. They were willing to work with us on what would be best. They weren't trying to sell things that we didn't need. They were timely. They were easy to schedule with.
