Movers arrived as schedule and none of my Property was damaged.

After having a really challenging experience with another moving company, Fortis saved me! I called at 9 am in the hopes of getting a move scheduled, and these guys were able to move me that evening. Everything was handled with care, and the men were VERY respectful. Highly recommend!

Movers were on time and organized. Friendly and professional.

Came in on time. The move-out was a bit difficult due to the length of walking required up a ramp from the elevator but they moved quickly and expertly. On the move-in side, there was a proper loading dock so that helps, but the elevator was tiny; but again, undeterred, they moved quickly and efficiently. Zero damage. Real friendly. Very Professional. Yes, I will definitely use them again :)

Quick and easy estimate process (also accurate, final cost was slightly less than quoted). Great customer service on the front end and a efficient, hard working moving crew. Extremely careful - I had no damages at all. They got a large book case up a flight of stairs that I thought could not possibly work, and did it without a single bump or scrape. I would definitely recommend Fortis!

Eddie, the customer service rep, was always available to answer questions ahead of our move and provided valuable advice to help us prepare. The moving crew was extremely professional and hard working. And Fortis had the best prices all of the moving companies I got quotes from (over 10 companies). I cannot recommend them highly enough. Excellent service and best prices. You cannot beat that. And it is a veteran-owned company.

The movers arrived early and were very communicative throughout the entire process. They were so sweet and very careful with my items. These guys were so efficient! I called for quotes from several moving companies and this was the best quote and the agent was very helpful. Fortis doesn't charge you absurd fees like the other companies I was quoted for. Friendly, careful, swift

I had a great experience utilizing Fortis Moving in my apartment-to-townhome move. They came on time, fully prepared to assist with moving big furniture and boxes. I had a lot of fragile items, that were moved super carefully. The new place where I moved into was not very comfortable for moving big furniture as I had. However, the guys from Fortis Moving were able to accomplish this in the blink of an eye! Eric and the whole crew of Fortis are really professional in what they are doing, I definitely plan on calling them up when I plan on moving into a larger home in the coming year. Update: 03/12/2021 I hired Fortis moving company a second time after they did an outstanding job with my local move. This time I moved out of state to Florida. I was so concerned about my furniture, and all the fragile stuff I have because it was almost a 1100mile drive. But Fortis guys did their job perfectly. They did a full packing service for me, so all my furniture and kitchenware was well-protected. Nika and Eric were fantastic: punctual, professional, and efficient. Eddie who works in the Fortis office was so helpful while setting up my big move. All in all, you are not going to regret it if you hire these guys. Their service was worth every penny I spent. Definitely 5 stars.

Fortis Moving did an EXCELLENT job moving me from one apartment to another in the same building. I paid for 3 movers but 4 showed up. They were all very nice and they moved me out of my 1 bedroom in just over an hour. Disassembling and reassembling my furniture damage free. They have a min 3 hour but worth every penny. No nickel and diming. If you pay in cash there is no 6% processing fee for using a credit card. I'd use them again.

Had a great experience with Fortis Moving Co. earlier this month. I called around for a few quotes for a local move and Fortis was a bit cheaper than some of the others and I liked the efficiency of their customer service, so decided to go with them. The three guys who showed up to do the move worked diligently and actually got the job done in less time than estimated, so the overall cost was lower than expected. All in all a great experience!

What a great moving company - from the moving coordinator (Tammie) to the movers! I had to get a treadmill moved - Tammie worked with me to get it coordinated / scheduled according to my tight timeframes. The movers disassembled the treadmill to get it out of one house and then reassembled it in the new house. They also kept me up to date on their arrival schedule, which helped tremendously. No scratches or delivery issues - great moving company experience!

Arrived on time, polite workers, respectful. The travel time was 1 hour to get to me. After my wonderful move into my new home, they realized that they had forgotten to give me some tiles which were to go into a table. They immediately called and told me of there overlook and apologized and wanted to bring them all the way to me. I expressed to them that they could drop them off at their convenience. On the next day, I received a call stating the time that the owner will bring the tiles to me personally. Who Does That! The Owner of the company, with his personal apology. I recommend this company for your future project(s), move, etc. RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED!

Fortis Moving Company came to our condo early and worked lighting fast! All three movers were polite and professional as they worked. We had several fragile items that they moved, and not a single one of them broke. They even pushed our huge couch out of our apartment when we were ready to disassemble it and throw it away. I cannot recommend enough the services of Fortis Moving Company.

The movers did not wrap any of my items. I was told to purchase bubble wrap so the movers would wrap my mirrors. I spent almost $30 on bubble wrap and the movers said they didn't need to wrap anything. When I got my furniture some of it was scratched. Also, they went over an extra hour based on the predicted time estimate. They movers themselves were very friendly and helpful.
