Ive moved 8 times in the last 14 years, and this was BY FAR, the best move in that time. The crew was professional, on time, GREAT!. We had an in-person quote (DONT SKIP THIS) and the final bill was spot on! No surprises.

Iâ ve moved 22 times over a period of 50 years. This was my best move. Erik, Nick, and Levan made it so. Extraordinary, professional serviceâ ¦with a smile. These three gentlemen are a credit to Fortis Miving Company. Fortis will get my business and referrals in future directly as a result of their superb work. They deserve a bonus!

From the very first communication with Tracie at Fortis Moving I knew I was going to hire them for my upcoming move. She was very attentive to my moving requirements and answered all my questions. The movers Erik and Beha were very professional and polite. They handled my furniture\ personal items with extreme care. Their work ethic was exceptional plus they moved swiftly but thoroughly the entire move. They ask questions throughout the move making sure the items were placed exactly where and how I wanted them. This was my first time using movers and I could not have had a better experience. The two movers I had were very kind and efficient. It took less time than anticipated and throughout the whole process Fortis just did amazing. Tracy (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was so kind and knowledgeable on the phone and was patient with my many questions. I will definitely be using them again when I move.

From initial contact throughout move, a strong and helpful Tracie,(sales & customer service), and a group of very nice and hard working movers. l believe l was fortunate to have worked with this company, and that belongings and I were well cared for by this group and team.

Excellent service

I was arranging a local move on behalf of a daughter who is in the military and was unavailable to accomplish the move on her own. It was complicated because I live 1,000 miles away. I talked with several local moving companies but Fortis stood out as the most friendly and most competent company to work with. Tracie, our contact, in particular gave us complete confidence that we were in good hands and had nothing to worry about. Indeed, everything worked out completely as it was planned. The day was hot, but the crew was prompt, polite, and worked tirelessly to complete the move on time and as scheduled. Tracie and her staff were fantastic and I cannot thank them enough for making a difficult move happen.

The team was respectful and worked steadily. The move went 2 hours over, could have dealt with that, but they did not wrap the furniture as it states they do and as a result, my leather sofa was damaged. It was difficult trying to get them to take care of the damage. It took several calls and promises to no avail. The owner came out once, he said they would get it professionally repaired, but never came through with that promise. It wasn't until I told them I would be going through my Insurance Co that they made a small offer. I would not and cannot in good faith recommend this moving company to anyone.

I cannot be more grateful for the movers who moved my things from my apartment into storage! These hard working gentlemen promised what they guaranteed and they were courteous and listened to how I needed things placed, I will always recommend them and I will use them again!

Good quality move but several unnecessary delays in the process. Still much better bang for the buck than other movers in the area.
