+ -1 moreI was really impressed with him. It was top grade tint and the guy was really awesome. He took the time to tell me how the shop works and how he tints the windows and everything. And, he gave me some samples too so I was really impressed with him.

Description of Work: I had a brand new Toyota 4Runner's front windows tinted at California Tint. Within one hour of having the tint put on and returning home I noticed a bubble at the top of the passenger side window and immediately called and drove back to the shop. My mistake was I only inspected the front drivers side window as upon returning the store owner claimed that I must have rolled my window down which I didn't. Regardless, he redid the tint a second time but left fibers and debris under the film which then led him to have to redo the window yet a third time. The worst thing was that they damaged the vehicle. In their rush to get jobs done they get extremely careless and scratched plastic trim and the leather when removing the prior tint and using their tools - see attached picture. Remember this car was brand new with 300 miles on it when I took it to them and he had the nerve to tell me the damage was preexisting one time and later admitted that his workers were inexperienced. This store is rude and discourteous and blames the customer for their careless mistakes. The only reason they don't get an F was that after 3 times the tint looks good and is adhering well. Personally, I would advise customers to go to another shop - I wish I would have!!!

+ -1 moreHis shop is small and cluttered and he is a bit over-worked, but he will get your car done on time and you will be happy with the outcome.
Description of Work: Dave tinted the back and side windows on my BMW M5 and did an excellent job. I used him last year to do my wife's Mazda CX-9 and was pleased with the outcome.

+ -1 moreI dropped by to discuss options with the techs. They gave estimate of 150. Arranged to drop car off. They called before starting the work to confirm. They called when work was completed. When I picked up the car the said that it took less time than estimated so they gave me a lower price of 120. Removed old film with no damage to car. I recommend them.

+ -1 moreThey were really nice, polite, and professional. They got me in and out a whole lot quicker than I expected. I was told that it would be a two hour wait when I called to set up my appiointment, but I was out of there in under an hour. They also discovered that one of my power windows would not operate so he tinted it the best he could, but offered to finish the tint on it free of charge after I had my window fixed. I purchased the top shelf, lifetime guarantee tint and it looks amazing. All of their work has a lifetime warranty. They will replace the tint at anytime if it starts bubbling or cracking for free of charge. They told me how to take care of it and what products I should use to keep it clean. They did an outstanding job!

+ -1 moreI called on a Friday afternoon and Dave was able to fit me in first thing Saturday morning. He explained all the options for the window tinting along with the pros and cons. I was in and out in a little over an hour on a Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend California Tint (1524 Spring Hill Rd, Suite R, McLean, VA) to anyone looking for a great window tinting job at an excellent price! I think he used to be in Sterling but is now in McLean and uses the same phone number.
Description of Work: Great experience getting my 2008 Mustang windows tinted! You deal directly with Dave, the owner, who is a real craftsman and very customer oriented.
