Description of Work: We had a longstanding problem with the coax cable in one room that Verizon could not fix (even though we had inside wiring insurance with them) without running visible cable through a couple of rooms. So, finally, to fix the problem, we hired CableTeck to run new cable through the walls. | |On the appointed day, the service tech called an hour or so earlier than expected because they had finished their first job quicker than expected, and we told them to come as soon as they wished. They arrived, did the work contracted for plus the additional job of running an Ethernet cable along with the coax so that we could have an additional Ethernet outlet in that room, and cleaned up after themselves, all within about two hours. They also checked to make sure that the problem was fixed and that all of our televisions were working properly before they left. They also told us of their guarantee that they would come fix the problem for free if the tv service were to go out again. | |They did great work, and I recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: Joe mounted a 50 inch TV into a stone veneer fireplace using an articulating TV mount.

Description of Work: He evaluated our current audio-visual equipment. He looked into options for repairing it, but it was more cost-effective to update the equipment which was over 10 years old.

Description of Work: Joe completely rewired my home for coaxial cable service, removing all the outdoor wiring the cable companies had shabbily installed over the years. He installed new cable and LAN outlets in several rooms and installed new light/fan switches in three bedrooms, alleviating the need to use the pull chains in each room.

Description of Work: Joe is going to install the cable wire and electrical cords behind the walls. I will also put the cable box behind the TV. I had made an appointment for Joe to do the work on 3/30/13 but I had to cancel it for personal reason. I asked him if he could to the work on 3/29/13. He never got back to me. I wasn't pleased with the fact that he never let me know one way or the other if he could do the work on 3/29/13.

Description of Work: Let me start off by saying that I got estimates from FIVE companies and Joe Graham came in the lowest, but that is not the only reason that we chose him. Joe was by far the most professional and diligent person that I met. He asked a lot of questions and took a lot of notes. If you want a TV MOUNTED OVER A STONE FIREPLACE, I highly suggest that you go with Joe Graham. Joe was the ONLY AV guy that came out and said that he could create an electric outlet on the stone fireplace behind the TV so that the wires would not show. Every other guy said that it was impossible and that the wires would have to come from the ceiling or the side and that the wires would show but they could paint them. I'm so glad we went with Joe. He didn't damage our stone fireplace at all, he just took out one small stone where he put the electrical outlet. In addition to mounting a TV over a stone fireplace, Joe also put surround sound in our houses. We already had a system and speakers for music but Joe made it so that our TV system could tap into those speakers. What I loved about Joe is that he worked so hard to work with what we had and save us money even if that meant a more difficult job for him. Joe also mounted a TV in another room and we already scheduled for him to come out again next week to mount another TV. Joe has an extremely creative mind, he comes up with the best ways of hiding boxes and wires if that is a concern. Also, even when the job is already done, Joe is extraordinarily responsive. We had a hard time figuring out the universal remote and maybe called him three times with questions and he ALWAYS answered, we never got his voicemail. He was truly a blessing to work with. I know that he doesn't have a ton of reviews on Angie's list but I wouldn't let that deter you from choosing Joe Graham.

Description of Work: Joe Graham is the owner of CableTek. After a phone call, he came by the same day to provide a free estimate on the cost of mounting my flat panel tv and soundbar. During the initial meeting, Mr. Graham assessed the property to find the appropriate cable outlets and determine the level of effort it would take to wire the tv. He provided me an estimate cost and a list of the materials he would supply and what I should supply. Later that evening, he followed up with a written proposal of the tasks he would perform, the materials he would provide and the overall cost of the project. On the day of service, he completed all services as written.
