Excellent. The estimator, Rob Forner, met us in the evening so that we did not have to miss work for the initial consult. He listened to our needs and answered all of our questions, even recommending cost saving approaches that we would not otherwise have considered. Within days of that visit, he provided to us a comprehensive detailed line item cost estimate and timely responded by email and telephone to our follow up questions. The crew arrived promptly at 7 AM as scheduled and, though hampered an interrupted by cold temps and inclement weather, still completed the work in less than two weeks overall. Rene, the foreman, explained the specifics of every potential change order, including the cost of work required above the original estimate (There is no way to know the extent of wood rot until the job is underway and siding is pulled from the building and/or otherwise examined by the carpenter(s). The gentlemen were professional, diligent and very respectful of the property, our own, the neighbors and common areas and cleaned up all evidence of work at the conclusion of each work day and upon completing the project this evening. I could not be happier and heartily endorse their work to others.

This is the second time I've used All American, and the first for exterior carpentry. When he came out to do the estimate, BJ was very open to my concerns and understanding in terms of what I was looking for with the repairs. In terms of pricing their estimate was competitive with the other estimates I received, and it was my previous experience with them that sealed the deal. Rene, the foreman, and his crew did a great job. I wasn't home for the first day but Rene kept me informed of any issues as they came up.

I would highly recommend the company for workmanship. However, their cost for labor was high. The cost of service stated above was only for labor. In order to control costs on my project, I shopped for and provided all paint, tinted primer and PVC materials. This saved me a significant fee that they charge for "shopping" and I actually got a better price than was originally quoted by All American Plus for the PVC. This surprised me since I would have thought that they would be able to get a lower contractor rate. I paid a little over $200 additional to other vendors for high quality exterior paint, tinted primer, and PVC materials in order to get the job completed. The original job was quoted to only replace the trim on the sides and bottom around each of three windows. From the ground, this is all that appeared to be necessary. The estimator's quote for the amount of PVC required for this job was significantly over stated. However, during the job we decided it would look better to also replace the trim over the three windows. Because of the incorrectly estimated numbers, I had purchased plenty of PVC flat trim to do all this additional work without a trip for more. (I did make a quick local run for PVC eave molding. They were still working on the other trim and this caused no delay on the job to wait for the materials I provided.) It should be noted that had we not expanded the job, the cost for the additional flat trim I purchased, based on the estimator's numbers, would have be a non-refundable and wasteful expenditure. The workers arrived a little after 7:00 am and worked approximately 6 hours, based on my best recollection. (There was about an hour break, while they waited for gutter cleaner and lunch to be delivered by a member of their crew and for them to eat the lunch.) Even including the time to clean their equipment and the work area, and to get paperwork set to reflect the expansion of the job, they were gone by about 2:30 or 3:00 pm. They protected my plantings, removed debris and left the job site in good condition. For quality of workmanship I would not hesitate using them again. However, in the future I will probably get more quotes from well recommended contractors before deciding.

Although before the contract was set, they were late for some appointments, the work was outstanding. They worked very thoroughly and the repairs look complete. It was not inexpensive, but it was well worth it. They were very careful in doing the repairs and picked up a lot of damage that we had not seen. We are very pleased.

Crew was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Paint job was well done. Made sure everything was put back and cleaned/straightened up as it was before the work began. Took a bit longer than expected, but no real impact to us. Will definitely use them again in the future!

We had an excellent experience. We hard repairs done (not repainting the whole house). They not only spent the time to color match the old paint, but had the experience to know what paint companies did the best jobs matching them.

All American Painting Plus (AAPP) was a pleasure to deal with from the initial estimate to the completion and cleanup of the job. The owner of the company Mr. Brian McCracken came to assess the work to be done and provide me with an estimate. His estimate was extremely detailed. It listed every piece of wood to be replaced with PVC or repaired. All replaced or repaired wood received two coats of paint and the rest received one coat of paint. It was clear that a lot of wood needed to be replaced. Included in this was the need to rebuild the decorative railing above the front door. Along with the estimate he provided me with a copy of his business and contractors license and his insurance coverage. It was the most detailed estimate of the three that I received. I selected AAPP due to this detailed estimate. The carpenter and the painters did a fantastic job. The carpenter found a couple of more rotted pieces of wood while he was working on the house and showed them to me. I was glad he found and fixed these because I didn't want to have to do them later. His carpentry work is first rate and he completed all of the work on the detailed estimate. The painters did a terrific job as well. The exterior of my house now looks brand new and I am very happy with the work done by AAPP. We will use them in the future to paint the interior of our house. If your considering getting carpentry or painting done give AAPP a call. They will may not be the least expensive of the bids you receive as was the case for me but their work was well worth the price and the whole experience was hassle free.

My deck is 17 years old and the decking was checking, cracking, and splintering. It was time to replace it. I called several vendors (from Angie's List) and All American Painters provides a mid-level estimate for the job. What impressed me with All American was the time that Rob took with me answering all my questions and provided reasonable solutions and options for my job. His estimate listed the cost of materials and labor so it was easy to see where the costs were and they were very reasonable. Once the job started, Joseph had a team of three and started the project. There were a few surprises, as there always are. What impressed me was how Joseph took it upon himself to ensure that everything about the decking replacement was done right, even when he had to re-do parts of the replacement. I did not have to ask or prompt him. He recognized issues and resolved them without me having to step in. He even painted my railings (there were minor scratches and scuffs from the decking) using paint I had left over from earlier this year. When he was finished, my deck looked better than it did when it was new A couple days later, one of the board had darkened much more than the others. I called Rob about the problem and he said that it was a typical issue with wood that had spent more time in the yard than the others. There was nothing structurally wrong with the board. He also did not hesitate in offering to have it replaced, if I wanted. I did. Joseph returned a couple days later and replaced the board (I was not home at the time). Their work is professional, efficient, and thorough. Their Customer Service is responsive, courteous, and helpful. They are what we are looking for in a contractor and take pride in their work. They are highly recommended for nearly any project you may have.

We used Angies list and had for companies come to house and give bids. All American had the best visit, listening and answering our questions, and giving us confidence that their employees were known quantities.

All American was very professional in explaining options to cope with rotten wood surrounding front door. They recommended purchasing new columns from Smoot Lumber. The All American staff demonstrated excellent carpentry skills. They independently took care of related problems, such as putting an extension on the wrought iron railing which was warped. I plan to ask All American to do some more carpentry and painting in the back of my house this Spring. All American is very professional in providing written estimates that explains exactly what you are paying for. I could negotiate certain items to save money, such as purchasing supplies myself.

Overall the project went very well. We had used All American before and were happy to hire them again. We were very pleased with the quality of the work. At the start of the project they did not send a big enough crew, so the project went on for more days than originally expected, but when we expressed concern about the situation the company was responsive and sent more painters to make up some time. We will definitely use them again.

This was not an easy job for All American Painting Plus: the weather was bad; the crew had to work around periods of wet weather. They were very professional about not caulking or painting when there was a threat of rain or when the wood surface was damp. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend this company to friends and family. Their GM, Rob, is very responsive in responding to my calls and emails.

Exactly as planned. They were very good at explaining previously undiscovered problems and repairing them. Couldn't be happier with the work performed.

The job is still in progress, but feel confident enough in what I have seen so far to make comments. The process has gone very smoothly from the quote to the execution of the project. During the quote, all my questions were answered and a lot of information was provided about the company which was very helpful in my decision. All American was not the lowest quote I received but I selected them for a couple reasons. I was worried about damage to my newly installed hardwood floors and the overall mess that popcorn removal could make in the house. For this I was reassured that all proper protection would be taken. Second, when reading the quotes carefully I realized that All American included 2 coats of paint, while others only included one coat. All American was prompt to answer the few follow up questions that I had and I was happily surprised to learn that they use all low-VOC paint products. We are about halfway through the project, with one room 100% complete, and I am very pleased with the results so far. First, the crew is very friendly and respectful. They arrive promptly at 7 am and ask if we have any questions or concerns, as well as letting us know what to expect for the day. I am pleased with how they protect the areas they are working in as well as laying down tarps from the front door to the work area. All floors, furniture, walls, and windows in the work area are covered. In the one room that is complete -- which is the master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, the ceiling looks BEAUTIFUL and the room is clean. I would not hesitate to hire All American in the future and suggest that if you are considering them, do it, you will not be disappointed. Like I mentioned before, they were a little higher in cost, but you get what you pay for and the quality of their work is worth it.

We received a very detailed and comprehensive quote so there was no issue about what was or was not to be done. Brian's crew was superb. We had just replaced all the hardwood floors and they were extremely careful not to get any paint or scratches on them. Their work is beautiful! My husband dislikes paying to have work done he thinks he should do himself and so when he saw the finished job he immediately stated that the crew is very talented and that there was no way he could have done it as well as they did. We both highly recommend them. AND they left the house far cleaner than it was before they arrived. The crew was on time every day and were all extremely courteous. I can't say enough about how pleased we are!

The quality of work is excellent, the team is prompt and takes good care to clean the work area after the work is completed and the price is fair which are reasons why I would highly recommend this company.

All the painters as well as the supervisor were committed to the full satisfaction of my husband and myself, and thus made sure to ask us to inspect as the job progressed. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Actually, I plan on doing so when I decide on the next interior rooms to be done.

We received three quotes for replacing and repainting the exterior trim, power washing, painting rails, windows trim, etc. Although All American Painting was not the lowest quote, they were the most thorough. Brian McCracken gave us a detailed quote and detailed the prices for each item. His painters showed up on time every day and were very polite. They cleaned up at the end of each day and did a fantastic job. I would use them again!
