The job started almost immediately with the provider taking down the shutters with in 24 hours of agreeing on price. New shutters were supposed to arrive with in a week. Didn't hear from provider for over a week. Called and left numerous messages, no call returned for another week. Asked provider to call to set up time to come install, but instead they just show up and installed them. We wanted to see the "color" of the shutters prior to installation to make sure it was correct for the neighborhood association but that didn't happen since they were already installed when we arrived home from work. Color not quite right, shutter pins not installed parallel, one shutter dented/crushed at the top. I had specially spoken to them about the old shutter pins being broken off in the hole and wanted to make sure they drilled them out and used the old holes versus drilling new holes in the brick. They skipped over using old shutter pin holes, and drilled new ones and that's why the pins were not installed parallel. Spoke to the provider when he came to pick up payment. Pointed out all issues: shutter pins not parallel, color is off, crushed top of one shutter. Provider said he would replace shutters where pins weren't parallel and reinstall. To date, we have heard nothing back from the provider and no repairs of botched work.
