+ 1 moreThe overall experience has been a nightmare. Both contracts were breeched and the job was abandonded in April 2010. The contractor left the jobsite in disorder and disarray, incluging all of their tools and materials. While work was ongoing, there were severe delays and a total lack of communication and professionalism. The contractor did not uphold its duties under our contracts and we incurred property damage as a result of poor workmanship and incompetence. The work was warrantied for a year but no way to redeem this since contractor is MIA. Much of the work has not stood the test of time and has to be redone such as warped painting, cracking caulk, etc.
Description of Work: Hired in August 2009, to perform remodeling work on three bathrooms and general contracting work, including painting, various small to mid-size repairs, and other generic improvements. We executed two separate contracts at contractors urging. Work was promised to be completed on each contract within 30 days.
