The Washington metro area was blasted by a major snowstorm the Thursday before the Martin Luther King Holiday and one of my massive pines came crashing down on my neighbor's deck. On Friday I had spent most of the day trying to locate a tree service that could remove the fallen tree. I was leaving voice mail and email messages but there was no human contact. On Friday at 9:30PM I decided to give Michael of TreeScape Services a call. TreeScape Services had performed a small job for me in early December and they had done quality work. at a fair price and I had kept Michael's card. I was stunned when Michael answered my call and I gave him the details of the work that needed to be done. He said he could have an estimator at my residence Monday between 10AM and 3PM. At 11:30AM on Monday my door bell rang and there was Brian the owner of TreeScape Services. In a very calm voice that set me at ease he said, and quot;Mr. Wolters, let's see what we've got.and quot; Brian's initial estimate for cutting up and removing the fallen pine seemed a bit high but when I asked him for an estimate to down the leaning (toward the direction of my house) pine his estimate was considerably lower than my expected cost to do the work. The total price to do all of the work was more than fair. He said his crew would be there the next day. I went to work on Tuesday but when I arrived home all I saw were some wood shavings. On Tuesday the weather had turned almost balmy and the snow was melting rapidly. My biggest fear was that the work crew was going to tear up my lawn hauling the wood to the street. The workers used extreme care because there were only a couple of minor scuff marks in the lawn and by April the lawn had repaired itself. That Saturday my neighbor came over and thanked me for my quick response to having the tree removed and for the meticulous work that TreeScape Services performed.

The undergrowth consisted of honeysuckle, wisteria, medium sized bushes and poison ivy. The wooded area is sloped and near a marsh land area. All of the wood and branches were removed and the area was raked clean. One of the trees is near a pool and patio. The patio was cleaned with an air blower. The workers took care not to damage or disturb the surrounding trees and plants. I'm very pleased with their work. They take pride in what they do and they always go the extra-mile. This is the 3rd time they have provided tree services to us. We will contact them again in the future.

They trimmed (substantially) two large oaks, 5 other trees and two holly bushes. The team was very professional, helpful and thorough! Brian, Mike and the entire team were very considerate to me and my children! They did a phenomenal job and took all my requests into account. My neighbor was so impressed he requested an estimate and hired them on the spot. They went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

Brian is outstanding. He is very skilled at his work. He is the crew manager. He has a crew of 6. Brian removed a 100' Colorado Blue Spruce that was growing 15' from my house. They also cleaned the mulberry trees overhanging into my yard from the neighbors. I really enjoyed watching him work, he was so precise and experienced. I was amazed. He works very hard and demands that his crew work hard also. They are very fast and did all of that work including cleanup in about 4 hours. The crew did break an arrow head from my custom built wrought iron fence and broke a $100 clay flower pot but Brian allowed me to deduct the repair from the cost of the job. This is the 2nd very large tree they have taken down for me. Both times they did an outstanding job. Excellent cleanup too. My neighbors have also use them and are very happy with their work. Tip: the best time to have tree work done is when there are no leaves on the branches. That cuts down on the trash and is not as much work, saving you some money.

These guys are great. They provided an estimate within 24 hours of my call. The crew arrived on time and took the down the three trees without harming any of the surrounding landscape and left the worksite in perfect condition. They hauled the two pines away and cut up the hard wood for firewood. I had this same company do some landscaping work last year and was very pleased with that work as we'll. they are professional, courteous and fairly priced.

I had received offers from this tree service before. The man who made the offer knew the work I wanted to do because we had talked about it during a previous visit. The truck and crew arrived at a reasonable time in the morning, they chain sawed the bushes and small tree, mulched everything and picked up small debris. They leveled the soil and pulled up stray roots. At my request, they picked up and moved a large rock to another place in the yard. Good work. Will hire them again.

They have all kinds of equipment and do everything from tree service to lawn care to landscaping with great cleanup. I have used them for years and recommend them to everyone.

Excellent, friendly and professional. Gave us estimate immediately after bad derecho storm at end of June 2012. Arrived for clean-up by end of same week with full crew who speedily cut down split trees, ran branches through chipper, ground down large stump and cleaned up area. Everyone on crew knew what they were doing and hopped to it despite us being last job of day in long record temperature week. Took extreme care with other landscaping plants, even rescuing and moving some cement garden statues to safety before proceeding. Even stacked up usable firewood from tree for our use. Took great care and roped large limbs to guide them to the ground before cutting so they didn't crash into house, fence or nearby power lines. Crew kept good humor despite miserably hot weather. Reasonable price despite urgency of situation, badly weakened trees would have likely fallen in subsequent thunderstorms predicted for end of this weekend. Based in Virginia but also licensed for Maryland.
