+ -1 moreQuintin McClellan and his crew are professionals. They arrived by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, and a crew of two worked on the tree in the front of the house taking it down. Another man trimmed the other two trees and was done in no time. By 3:00 p.m., the tree in the front was gone with just a small stump left and well as the tree in the back. By the end of the second day, all debris was chipped and spread around my hemlock trees. The second day the front yard was completely clean except for the stump and the logs. The backyard was more of a mess but that was quickly cleared early the second day. The crew arrived by 7:30 and quickly chipped and spread all chips, quickly took both stumps down to the ground and cleared up the entire yard. Quintin arrived with a massive stump grinder and ground the stumps down to nothing. There are two large piles of chips where the trees did stand but a lot of that is air and these will settle. Also, I will have Total Tree back to plant a small ornamental tree in the front and shade tree in the back and they can use the remaining ground stump as mulch for the new trees.
Description of Work: Total Tree came in and removed two big dead trees. One was in my front yard with branches overhanging my house and also my driveway and electrical line. The other tree was bigger but did not directly threaten any structures. After removal, they ground the stumps to below ground level. Total Tree also took much chipped wood and spread it under my line of hemlock trees for mulch. Finally, the also pruned two other trees on the other side of my driveway with branches overhanging the cable line coming into the house.

Description of Work: Removed dead branches from two large Chinese Chestnut trees, topped two large Siberian Elms, thinned a pear tree, hauled away all debris with no damage to the yard or other plants.

+ -1 moreFrom the moment Total Tree Health Care was contacted by us to the end of the work performed, we were extremely pleased with the evaluation, the work, the men who worked on the trees and the cost.
Description of Work: Total Tree Health Care evaluated five trees on our property and gave us a recommendation for proceeding with them. They are trained, licensed and insured arborists and evaluated each tree with great care and knowledge. They then performed the required work with equal care and precision; two Siberian Elm trees were pollarded and two very old Chestnuts were cleaned up to extend their health and lives and to encourage nut production and a Pear tree was cleaned up to encourage proper structure and fruiting. The three men who worked on the trees were very professional, personable and knowledgable. They worked quickly and neatly and with great care for the trees and the yard. Their work was above our expectation and the price charged was below what we had anticipated. We will retain their services again.

+ -1 moreShowed up and performed the work as scheduled and discussed on estimate. Employees worked safely. efficiently and politely every day until the job was complete. Debris and limbs were cleaned up and hauled away, leaving no evidence of the work performed. We added a few smaller trees to the contract after work was started and work was completed in specified time even with the addtional trees. The price increased with the addtional work but was still very fair. Overall we couldn't be happier and will call again in the future should the need arise.
Description of Work: As trees in our side yard grew above the roof line we felt the need to have them removed.
