Description of Work: Randy repaired a shingle that had been blown off on an area of the roof that was difficult to access.

+ -1 moreRandy was the only one that called back regarding my leak in the kitchen closet after hard rains for 2 weeks. I called and left messages for 7 contractors. He came by and gave me a price and less than 2 weeks, the job was done. He gave me a 100 dollar discount because he didn't have to remove shingles. I found him more than competent and professional. Very honest about what he was going to do .

Description of Work: Cleaned roof. Replace broken shingles. Replace stack sealers. Mr Howell responded to my call sooner than I expected. He cleaned off the roof,found several issues that he repaired and charge a very fair price.

+ -1 moreHe is an exceptionally nice and conscientious person. I would recommend Randy to anyone in need of roof repairs. He has also been nice to me in terms of trying to find someone for me to fix my brick steps on the front of my home. You couldn't a more honest roofer in this area. Shows up when he states that he will and does excellent work.
Description of Work: I have actually used Randy Howell more than once. He fixed the bad shingles on my roof and was exceptionally nice. He last came when I thought I had a bird in my chimney. Turned out to be a bug near my fireplace.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased. He treated our repair job as if we were a major client--very responsive, pleasant to work with, and very industrious in getting to work and getting the job done. We live in a high-wind area, so had loose shingles in lots of places. Randy is so comfortable in his work that he seemed to be able to walk on our second story roof as if it were a sidewalk. He was efficient, careful, made sure he'd found all the places that needed repair, and cleaned up debris completely before leaving. It was a part-day job, and he solved the problems for a fair price. We were very pleased and have since recommended him to others, who were glad to have the recommendation.
Description of Work: Arrived when promised to examine and estimate repairs for about a 15 yr. old roof. He figured out how to match up other shingles in visible areas for a good final appearance. The roof line is complicated, and he knew how to best deal with that. Estimate was very reasonable and we asked him to accept the job. Especially valuable was that we asked him if we needed to just go ahead and replace the roof. After examining the roof, he came down and said that while he could certainly use the work, his opinion was that the roof had another 5 or more years in it, and he didn't want us to have to buy a new one before it was really necessary. From then on, we trusted him completely with all his recommendations. In our experience, not many contractors will give an answer like that one! And his bill was very reasonable.

By pulling shingles from the back portion of a roof that is not so visible, and using it to replace shingles on the front side, it provided a roof with shingles that matched while still fixing the problem.
