Chuck remodeled two bathrooms and I am thrilled with the results. Chuck is a perfectionist, his work is meticulous. He is very hardworking, honest and trustworthy. He is punctual, cleans up every day after he finishes and keeps the area clean and safe as he is working. His tile work is beautiful. I have recommended Chuck to several of my friends. I think he is one of the best bath contractors in the New River Valley. His schedule is busy but he is worth the wait.

It did not go. We could not get a quote. He was very personable, and seemed very detail oriented. Took tons of notes, and measurements. He did indicate that he stays busy, which we took as a sign of a good contractor. I subsequently was ill and out of commission for six weeks, during which time we did not receive the quote. I followed up in early April to ask if he was interested in doing the job and replied positively, but that he would need to come again to revisit/remeasure etc. in order to quote accurately. We went through the entire process again, after which I had high hopes of getting the quote and our bathrooms done. I followed up multiple times, and finally realized that we were never going to get a quote. I wish he would have told us he wasn't interested instead of tying us up for months.

The service that was great , they are excellent . They do everything to perfection . They go above and beyond to please the customer . They are really good . They did not leave a mess , they make sure that they clean up after there selves .

The owner, Chuck Smith (along with one helper) did all the work; and were punctual, professional, and very friendly. The job was completed as promised, and come in slightly lower that the estimate provided. I told him what I wanted, and he prvovided me with suggestions on how to achieve the look. I was kept informed about all aspects of the job, and was consulted when adjustments could be made. In addition, Chuck did some work that was not part of our contract. As he was moving the plumbing, he discovered that I had a couple of leaks under the house, and went ahead and replaced. He also took the old materials to Habitat for Humanity for me and provided me with a detailed, priced receipt. I highly recommend that anyone looking to have a new bath installed to consider Chuck's Custom Bath.
