Williamsburg Windows and Doors

Very disappointed with the lack of follow up. The first appointment went well, but the salesman wanted to bring his foreman to look at the Windows before giving us a quote. He called to cancel saying that he needed to do more research. I called him once to check on him but never heard from him again.

Wonderful. All done, no problems at all.

Excellent work. We will replace the remaining of our windows within the next couple of years and will hire them again.

It went fairly well, the installers Donny and Will were great and meticulous with the install. All of the windows were installed quickly and finished with trim wrap. The only snag with the install is one of the workers had a family emergency which pushed the install back a day (which caused a slight inconvenience as I have a dog that needed to be calmed). Overall I was pleased with the process as the Luck family did a great job overall. The price was a little higher than I expected for the windows, but they seem nice so it is probably worth the additional investment.

This company did not do any work for us.

We are very pleased with the service we received throughout the process. Andy Luck gave an informative sales presentation, Tom Luck processed the order and coordinated services, and was always very responsive to phone calls and questions, and the installers, Scott and Donny were absolutely fabulous - punctual, polite, and very professional. I will recommend them to others without reservation.

I was referred to Williamsburg Windows and Doors by a neighbor and I'm so happy I made the call. Andy Luck came out and gave us a wonderful presentation and talked us through all the features of the windows (double latches, tilt in for easy cleaning, security/ child safety features). I have to say that I was still a little skeptical about how easy these windows were to use, but given the fact that it was impossible to open any window in our home and some of the sills were rotting, we had to do something. Donnie came out and measured and several weeks later completed our install. The install was great! Donnie and his team were very professional, kept any materials picked up during the job, and tidied up afterwards as well. Ten months later we are LOVING our windows. We've seen a clear difference in our heating and cooling bills and the windows have been so easy to open -- just as Andy promised. Now we have a patio door that needs replacing and I just put in a call to WW&D. If you have any issues with your windows and doors, they should be your only call.

I obtained five estimates for this work, since it was a big job. WW&D were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced, and they are an established company that has done work in my neighborhood. I checked with the neighbors that had previoulsy hired WW&D, and they both recommended WW&D, as they were extremely satisfied with the work. The other thing I appreciated about this company was that they understand the importance of having expert installation. Once the work was scheduled, Donny and Brian were punctual, professional and did an excellent job. In fact, I had another contractor at my house providing an estimate on an unrelated job who remarked on the quality of their work. I was very satisfied with WW&D in all aspects of their work- quality, price, professionalism and responsiveness. They did a truly outstanding job.

My experience has been great. The installers were just excellent, professional, very careful and very thorough. If you’re going to replace your windows it’s important to do research on replacement windows. Even though I think these people were excellent, I think because we got some other estimates on top of the sales people, we were more able to make the judgment that lead us to this company. We got an estimate from another nationally advertised vendor and the difference was only $200. The price from Williamsburg Windows and Doors was all inclusive. Whereas the price from the other vendor, there was a cost for this and a cost for that so by the time we identified what we wanted the difference is only $200. I think it’s a good value and I think it’s competitive if people want the quality features that we want.

It went very well. They came when they said they would and the jobsite was very well maintained. They took away any debris. There were no problems.

Everything was satisfactory. The did a fantastic job. They scheduled everything and they were prompt. They showed up on time and finished the work on time. The challenge was that their was an issue with the installation of the bathroom window, it requires you to do additional adjustments. I have to get my wife to hold the top window shut and then i hold the bottom window shut to unlock it. When we talked to them about the adjustments of the window, they came back and said thats the way it's going to be and they could not fix it. We do not open that window so we left it. They were responsive, they always got back to us.

The windows were good and reasonable for the price but they were slow in returning phone calls. They're fine and when we got everything put in we were pleased with the work and with our windows.

Things went fine with them. They were actually good. I do not remember how much the service cost but they came when they said that they would. They basically followed through on what they said that they were going to do and it was easy to work with them in that sense. I remember that we went with them because they gave a very good price and they did a really good job.

The first day the man came out and measured everything and gave an estimate, the next day a different person came out to remeasure to make sure everything was correct. In about a week they came and installed the new windows. They tore out all of my old windows and replaced them. They did a great job, especially with the clean up. Everything looks great.

They did a great job. They did good work, were on time, and the workers were really conscientious. The only negative is that the salesman said he would check on the work once the windows were installed. He never came out to inspect the work which was very aggravating.

very good work and very good product. Sales person was very helpful and knowledgable. Comperable in price to other window companies in the area. I would use them again and recommend a friend get an estimate. Installation took almost 4 days which wasnt a problem for me as I wasnt working outside the home at the time. If i had been then it would have been a hassle.

Williamsburg Windows and Doors delivered on everything they promised, from the visit for the estimate to the installation and billing. The second story window that had to be replaced was actually 3 windows 'melded' together in some fashion, so not the easiest job. It looks great.
