I have to say that I am very impressed with how things turned out. Our house was always very cold come wintertime and the temperature would frequently have trouble staying above 65 degrees with our heat pump running all night. I have always heard that spray foam was a great way to insulate, but was always turned off by the cost. I didn't want to put 5-6k into insulation and have little or no results. I decided to take a leap of faith and contact this company. Bonnie came out and evaluated the situation and came up with a plan for the best way to tackle the job. She was prompt and I was given a quote with a day or so. Appointment was scheduled and job was completed within two weeks. The crew was great and the prep work was meticulous so that nothing would get dirty. It was an all day job. We finally started having some cold nights in the 20's and I set my thermostat to 72 degrees for a test. When I came down in the morning, I couldn't believe my eyes when the thermostat still read 72. Later that day, I lowered the thermostat to 70 degrees and when I checked it later in the day it was 71 degrees. I thought it was broken or something. My heat pump always had to run nonstop just to try and keep up to 68 degrees. The comfort level in my home is unbelievable now and I suspect I will start to see some energy savings in the near future. I couldn't be happier!! Expect some smell from the foam for a week or so. It's kind of a plastic smell. I just opened up the windows and let it air out during the days with a fan. Bonnie left one of her fans in the attic with a pipe leading outside to help air it out. Not a real big deal. This is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made with my home and I would highly recommend!! Nova Foam is the way to go. Thanks Bonnie!

My experience with Nova Spray Foam Insulation LLC Company was fine. They responded quickly to give me a quote on the job. It was a much better price than what I had expected. However they didn’t prepare me for how bad it was going to smell afterwards. I was a little uncomfortable with that. The smell seems to have disappeared now though.

They were very good. We actually had a time after we had the insulation put in where I could go up in the attic and see daylight coming through. I called them up, and they came back out to fill that hole. They were good as far as coming back and making sure it was air-tight the way it was supposed to be. They covered our floor with plastic so they wouldn't get foam on the floor. The people who did the spraying were excellent.

It went fine and we passed the inspection. Their price was fine. They were fine in terms of their friendliness and professionalism.

Service provider did not return my email. Went with Southland Insulation company and am extremely satisfied.

Nova Spray Foam Insulation used Demelic Agribalance Open-Cell Foam Insulation in the ceiling of my crawl space. The estimator, Bonnie, was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She took extra time to answer all my questions completely because I was changing from fiberglass insulation to the spray foam. After choosing this company based on the price and professionalism, the appointment was quickly scheduled. The crew came in to remove the old fiberglass insulation and finished within several hours. They were very efficient and friendly. The spray foam crew was scheduled for the next day. The spraying went well and very quickly. I noticed my floors were much warmer and the cold draft disappeared after the insulation crew left. I would definitely hire this company again. Bonnie is excellent at answering any and all questions. The crews did an great job.

My job was actually way too small to be feasible for any contractor. However, they provided me with the necessary information and resources knowledge to tackle the job myself. It went well, was cheaper and easier than I expected. The professionalism and expertise they provided was above and beyond what I would have expected. I would recommend them to anyone with insulation needs in the future.

It was a wonderful experience. They acted promptly and even rearranged their schedule to accommodate us. Their punctuality was perfect.

The entire process went very well. The staff was very pleasant, prompt and professional. Bonnie was the representative that came to assess my home for an estimate. She also returned after the work was done to make sure that I was satisfied with the work that was done. The gentlemen that came to do the actual insulation were on time and made sure that my home and the area that they worked in were left clean and in order. Since having my attic insulated, my home has been warm and toasty during the winter. I've also noticed that it is a bit cooler on the upper level during the summer. If needed, I would definitely use them again. I would also recommend them to other people.

We spent about $7000 on that service. It was a small portion of the house they did. We have a small crawl space underneath the house, so what they did was they put down a vapor barrier and foamed the walls of the crawl space. We thought that they were very professional and they explained everything to us. They did a great job with what they did and cleaned up after themselves. We were expecting a noticeable improvement in the comfort level of the house, but we did not notice that much difference. We don?t if that was because they did not do the entire house and wouldn?t been able to without tearing down walls and it would have been a big project. The workers that came here were very professional.

Went very well. Bonnie and her team did a great job supervising putting the insulation in the attic as well as cleaning out the attic.

Because of excessive air infiltration from the basement to the kitchen area on the first floor, I wanted to have the existing fiberglass insulation in the basement replaced with closed-cell foam insulation. Received a price estimate from the Company on Thursday 12/30/2010 and got the work done the next day. Excellent service from everyone that I have interacted with at the Company starting with the person who provided the estimate to the two installers who stopped by to do the job. They were all extremely professional and answered all of my questions throughly. It took them about 3 hours to lay the closed foam insulation around the entire perimeter of the basement around the band-joist. I would not hesitate a bit to recommend them to anyone.

The company representative visited my home and provided me with an initial estimate via email. I did not like the estimate so we negotiated a lower price over the phone and agreed to have the work start the next day and meet later the next day to sign the contract. The representative showed up the next day with a contract containing $200 more than the agreed price and pretended she misunderstood over the phone. The work crew was great but the sales manager came off as sleazy and unprofessional.

He came and gave me an estimate. Then I got an energy audit and they recommended the foam. I got another estimate (3k higher!) and went with NOVA. Emailed him on a Sunday night. Lucky for me he had a canx the next day and they came and did it!! Totally clean and fabulous!! Great experieince and I highly recommend the foam. Can't wait to see my utility bills!

Insulation in our crawl space was recommended thru a home energy audit - for energy efficiency and to reduce moisture in our house. Checked NOVA out thru Angie's List after talking to a rep at an "eco" show. The rep arrived as scheduled to discuss the work I wanted - some of which they did and some they did not. They do the spray foam, but I also wanted the dirt in the crawl space covered with plastic to keep the moisture in the earth (recommended by the energy audit) and they do not provide that service. However, the rep assisted us in arranging to get that done thru an independent contractor, on a Sunday, the day before the spray foam application was scheduled. The NOVA installers arrived on schedule. They knew of the plastic sheeting and made sure they sprayed around the wall where the plastic had been placed to seal it in place. There was a minimum of clean up required in our rec room after they left (they need to run their hose through a basment window as the crawl space grates were cemented in place on the inside). They were professional and knowledgeable in dealing with all aspects of dealing with our particular installation. The communication between the sales rep and installers was also gratifying as they arrived knowing what had already been done independently. The one thing I would warn about is that the foam does fly. There was one place where some came through a gap between the cinder block wall and the ceiling area in our furnace room. Nothing was damaged, but it would have been easy to throw a tarp over the items in the space to make the clean up easier. The foam hardens and will come off. A minor thing considering the benefits of the insulation, but I would recommend making sure that any adjacent areas are either completely sealed off or protected.

They called back promptly. They were reasonably direct and up-front with me. They are not able to do the work because I need injection foam, but I was happy with the interaction.

The company is terrific to deal with. Their sales manager (Steve) came out and gave me what I thought was a very fair price, they worked me into the schedule quickly, and the guys showed up on time and finished it in half a day as anticipated. Charlie and his helper were very professional, and did a nice job making sure I was satisfied with the work. You could tell they had done it a few times! Spray foaming makes a big mess, and they did a good job taping everything off before and cleaning up after themselves when finished. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My A/C unit is in the attic and exposed to 130 degree summer heat while trying to cool my house. I wanted to insulate the attic ceiling to reduce the temp in the attic. Ken came out to look at the attic and I had a quote within 3 days. It took me only 1 week to schedule the work. I have a 1 story house and therefore a large roof covering 30' x 40'. They showed up on time and had the job done in 4 hours (1 hour was warming up the equipment). Everyone was very professional.

They did an excellent job and cleaned my whole house after the job was done. They did the job in one day. This insulation has already saved me money in energy costs.
