Description of Work: Maud responded immediately to our call, scheduled the delivery for the following day, arrived within 30 minutes of her target time. She backed her truck into our driveway and dumped a cord of seasoned oak logs onto the top left side of our driveway.

 + -1 moreI have an insert in my family room fire place that requires a smaller than normal cut of wood. Blue Ridge Oak Farms cut seasoned oak wood to my specifications, delivered and because I am senior stacked the wood for me. I have been using Blue Ridge Oak Farms as the source of my firewood for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed in the quality of the wood (aged oak) or their service. Oak Farms also provides excellent mulch and filtered top soil.
Description of Work: Blue Ridge Oak Farms cut seasoned oak wood to my specifications, then delivered and stored it for me.

 + -1 moreAfter several attempts to reach other dealers who either had no firewood left or had no transportation, I called Blue Ridge Oak Farm and spoke to the owner, who confirmed that she had nice wood available and could deliver immediately. It was considerably more expensive than I had been used to paying, but under the circumstances I went for it anyway. The owner was personable and the firewood was delivered as scheduled the next day. They pointed out that the delivery was actually more than the half cord I had ordered, which is correct (it may have been on the order of 3/4 cord), but is still expensive compared with other dealers.
Description of Work: I had a half cord of firewood delivered to my home in DC.
