I found these guys online and as they seemed to have good reviews, my mother and I hired them. Worst mistake ever, I still feel badly for encouraging my mom to call these guys and she lost a bit of money on this deal due to them not preforming the services correctly they were hired to do. Let me list the whole ordeal as a warning to others! 1) Unprofessional actions - First day the worker showed up all he did was talk a lot, made both me and my mom uncomfortable by talking about how “blacks and whites ought to stick to their own races” and other things I won’t repeat so it was clear the guy is a little racist and don’t mind saying it out loud. He spent way more time talking than working, and the work he did ended up making problems worse than they were before he touched our stuff. On a return visit he told me a bunch of uncomfortable things like how he had to explain to his daughter what an ****** was and then kept hitting on me - keep in mind this guy doesn’t know me or my mom from Adam! He made us both super uncomfortable every time he came there and in the end we asked his boss to please fix the guys bad work himself and to not bring the guy here again because as two single ladies who live alone we didn’t want him back here he made us that uncomfortable. The boss never did show up. Mom asked for a refund, of course we were thinking minus the cost of any parts and minus maybe one hour of work he did replacing a drain on my tub - the one thing he did that seemed ok. Labor for them was $105 an hour. The boss at first told mom he didn’t give refunds and that he was coming to fix what his worker had messed up - but then after stringing us along and never showing up he agreed to refund her. We were expecting at least half of the around $476.06 total Bill to be refunded. Boss left us one hours fee ($105) in our mailbox and after mom tried to talk with him about it she was ignored so we gave up but decided we are going to warn others - let our hard lesson save y’all from weeks of aggravation, bad work, and being ripped off by this company! The boss was also pretty rude to my mom there at last. 2) What we hired them to do and the results - We asked them to fix our toilets - mine was sort of offset and wobbly, moms had a very minor leak from under it. After the guy that came here got done mine has a plastic wedge crammed under it and no longer wobbles but I now have a major leak. Moms toilet was taken off and the seal supposedly replaced and fixed, then the toilet replaced. It now has a major leak! We called and called, begged these dudes to fix these things. We got at least a week of them saying they were coming, waiting around for them all day, only for them to never show up and never call. We’d call them the next day only to have the same thing happen for at least a week, probably longer if you count once the boss got involved! This was both the UNLICENSED worker David (we found that info out toward the end of this whole debacle) and the boss Thomas himself who we got involved and he swore he’d come and fix what his worker had failed to fix or made worse, then kept not showing up then when we’d call he would tell us he was sick. Maybe he was, but to leave people in the shape he left us in is beyond bad business. Fix a leaking tub in my bathroom - David claimed to have found the leak, replaced my tub drain with a step stopper which does seem to work well in itself, however my tub still leaks bad as it ever did meaning he never did find the actual leak he just replaced my tub drain. Again we told them this, and same thing - they never showed up again to fix it and kept stringing us along having us wait all day claiming he was on his way for a week or more and each day no call no show. Replaced a section of piping under our trailer - David replaced a small section of piping under our trailer where there was a leak in the pipe. That part seems to be ok far as we can tell, but for having been charged $476.06 and the only things done RIGHT being a tub drain replaced and a small section of leaking pipe replaced... not worth it. Picture is of how bad my toilet is still leaking and moms is just as bad.

Company said that we should expect a plumber on Tuesday so I took off from work. Plumber never showed up never called wasted a vacation day on a service they never intended on completing. It's a week later and still haven't seen or heard from them. Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: came same day we called, saw that we were going to need a new water heater installed. They told us a price that was better than we could have purchased one from the big box stores and paid for the installation that we were quoted by the store. They were back at our house within the hour and had everything installed and cleaned up in no time - we were very grateful for the speed, service and the price.

Our experience was as positive as could possibly be and we highly recommend Thomas and Jeff! They are among the most professional people we've worked with on home repairs. We called them on a Wednesday morning, as soon as we became aware of the problem with our sewer line. They returned our call within 1 minute and promised to come and provide an estimate later that evening, as soon as they finished the job they were working on. They showed up as promised and provided a fair quote. Though they were very busy, they made arrangements to begin work at our home the following morning, because they knew that our situation was serious - that we were a family without any water or sewer access. Starting work at our house so quickly required a lot of coordination on their part, as they had to make arrangements to have big machinery delivered very quickly and they also had to coordinate with the utilities, since they would be digging. We greatly appreciated their willingness to start work right away - it made a huge difference for us! They worked very diligently, despite very bad weather and they got us up and running as quickly as possible. We had water and sewer services again within 1 1/2 days (which was very impressive, especially given the heavy rain and hail during their first day on the job). We were very impressed that they even came back on Saturday morning to finish up the final details. They reseeded the lawn where they had dug and they laid straw for the grass seed. Though they ran into a few complications during the project and had to bring the town in to find the sewer line, they did not charge any extra for the delays they experienced. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism. Thomas and Jeff were excellent to work with - and again, we would highly recommend them. They are very hard working, personable, professional and responsive. They are very easy to talk with and they did a great job of keeping us updated on their progress, as well as answering our questions. The world would be a better place if everyone shared their work ethic!
Description of Work: Our main sewer line ruptured, which was obviously a large job. The entire main line, from the house, across the entire front yard, all the way to the street had to be replaced. This involved digging a huge hole in our front yard, removing the old piping, installing a new pipe and filling the very large hole back in with dirt. This job was somewhat complicated by the fact that our front yard is very steep.
