Description of Work: I chose Vance as they made me feel very comfortable during the initial estimate process, and when I got my quote they were the second lowest price of the four providers I got estimates from. I decided not to go with the cheapest quote simply because Vance was willing to bring my old home up to code, i.e. install the film stuff on the ground in our crawl, for not much more money. The guys that came to actually install my insulation were very very helpful, offering to move furniture out of the way in my attic, and they informed me of a water line leak in my crawl. The water line was leaking over a gas line, which was beginning to corrode so I was very grateful for this discovery. I was very satisfied with Vance and would most definitely recommend them to anyone in need of insulation. Oh and with the ridiculous heat wave in the Mid-Atlantic region I was very grateful that they were able to schedule my work within 3 business days of me accepting the quote!!

Description of Work: Vance Insulation replaced all of the insulation under my house and put down a new vapor barrier. They hauled off all of the materials that were removed. They did a good job and were prompt.

Description of Work: They came out and put batt insulation on the perimeter of the attic and blew insulation for the remainder even putting some under the plywood. They were prompt. |They put down runners in the house so there would be no mess. |They even take a brush and swept the plywood in the attic, so it would be all nice and neat! I can hardly wait to see the difference on my utility bills. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Upgraded and updated insulation in a home built in the mid 90's. Professional in their assessment of the need for upgrading and in their installation of the product. Great price and product. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Installed vapor barrier in crawlspace. Performed moisture analysis. |Everything went well. In fact the timing couldn't have been better because they were able to see some damage that had occurred just the night before the installation. I was impressed with the service and responsiveness and plan to use the company again to complete needed repairs for the damage that was recently incurred.

Description of Work: Insulation was blown into my attic. The guys were very professional and laid down tarps to make sure there was no mess for me to clean up afterward. They even made sure that no limbs were broken on a tree near the driveway by getting up on top of the truck and holding up the limb.

Description of Work: Removed old moisture barrier plastic under 3 crawl areas, installed new plastic in same + 1 dryer vent. Replaced insulation as needed in 1 crawl space and blew in insulation in family room attic + put up insulation sheets around upstairs bathroom....resulting in cooler bath in summer/warmer in winter., Excellent estimate/came in under estimate/used less materials.....great management and crew to work with....would recommend to any needing moisture barrier or insulation services.

Description of Work: They have placed a heavy mil barrier to seal up to grade on the crawlspace. Did extra research on other potential solutions and came up with this relatviely lower cost solution that was most appropriate to my home.
