Description of Work: Installed cabinetry in the laundry room, installed floor molding in three rooms, repaired external siding in deck area, that was water damaged. Mr. Lee was the consumate professional. Courteous, great sense of humor. There absolutely no pressure and stood with his quotes and prices. I would highly recommend Mr. Lee for any of your home improvements. My wife and I are planning more projects for Mr. Lee in the near future.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate on ceiling repair and repairs and pwerwashing and staining my deck. The gentlemen came to my house that afternoon to give me an estimate but, his pricing was very high. I do however appreciate his promptness and he was very professional and curtious.

Description of Work: Mike promptly returned my phone call and responded in a timely manner in coming to see the work I wanted done. There were times in which I felt he wasn't truly understanding what I wanted and had to repeat myself to assure he understood. An estimate was made, a contract supplied. The papers of the contract were smudged with coffee stains and I was asked to make copies, which meant a trip to an office supply store for me. Initially, I felt his price was too high. We discussed it and he came down substantially. I provided a down payment as requested. When questioned, Mike told me that he would perform "most" of the work himself, however when the day come for the project to begin, he showed up with two Hispanic helpers. The first step of the project involved rescreening my porch. Mike got the helpers started then disappeared, leaving me here with them. He was gone for quite a while and I found that this was a consistent pattern throughout the projects. I felt uncomfortable not knowing who these men were. Are they legal immigrants? Are they being paid according to policy? Are their wages being reported? A decent job was done with the screening. Overall I'm satisfied with it however the screens would look better if a little tighter. The next project involved drywalling two places in my laundry room, removing old screws, patching nailholes, and finally painting the walls and ceiling. Once again, Mike brought an Hispanic man to help with the project. He dropped him off, got him started and then disappeared for most of the day, leaving me here alone with a stranger who barely understood or spoke English. Once again I was pleased with the outcome of the project. The drywalling especially, was done nicely. The painting looks nice and cleanup after the project was finished was thorough. Overall, Mike's work was okay, but not exceptional. I felt he was dishonest with me about doing the work himself and wasn't around while the projects were being done, leaving me in an environment in my home which could have been unsafe. His pricing was a little high, especially considering he wasn't doing the work himself. He mentioned that there was a place "downtown" where some contractors go to pick up workers who just show up. I don't know that Mike used this method of getting his helpers but it caused concern. What about the status of these helpers? Do they have clean records? Are they legal residents? Should they be left unsupervised in private homes?

Description of Work: Scraped and repainted wood trim on entire exterior of house.

Description of Work: Ceiling repair, painting, vinyl floor installation, refinished kitchen cabinets, removed wall to wall carpet. Installed ceiling light fixtures. Painted shutters.

Description of Work: I had some water damage that had rotted through some clabbord siding and the underside of a 2nd floor overhang. I also had some trim work under the roof line on my screened in porch. I also had gutters on the second floor of the house that were needing to me cleaned out.

Description of Work: We hired Handyman Today to power wash the house, paint our exterior handrails and an exterior door, repair a water damaged ceiling. build a deck on the back of our house and install a replacement patio door.

Description of Work: We had a koi pond built into the deck which needed to be removed and the deck built back with new cross beams and decking boards. His price was better than any other estimates, was completed quickly, and all the mess was cleaned up. Mike is very pleasant and professional. I will use him again in the future.

Description of Work: painted walls, trim and doors in living room, dining room, stairwell. Painted trim and door (no walls) in one bedroom. Refinished hardwood floors in bedroom. Removed whole house fan from attic floor and patched attic floor and 2nd floor ceiling and did the resulting electrical work.

Description of Work: Handyman Today installed new sheet rock on our damaged ceiling and painted the entire bedroom. Also, our deck was power washed and stained as well as several boards replaced.

Description of Work: Re-attached a down spout on our 2 story home (which also has a basement). Added new straps and properly adhered the old ones to the brick so this won't happen again. Also, bolted down one of the other down spouts with new strap at the base to properly secure it to the house.

Description of Work: My office needed painting, especially in high traffic areas; however, I did not have any paint records or samples of paint previously used. Mike was careful in determining the exact paint match so that the results were indistinguishable from other areas with the original finish.

Description of Work: Repaired sheet rock in ceiling (some areas were from leaks in the sky lights) and then painted the ceilings.

Description of Work: They replaced water damaged wood trim around multiple windows (sills, header and side pieces), framing around my garage door, trim around a side door, screen porch strips that held the screens in, a broken railing piece and replaced 4-5 panels of clapboard siding. This work included caulking and repainting. They even cleaned out the 2nd story gutters that were filled with debris. And they connected me to a reputable service provider for power washing whom I would use again also.

Description of Work: Mike smoothed out a textured ceiling, so that it is no longer textured. Then he sanded, primed, and painted some wood paneling that was previously dark wood stain. He also did the same thing for some dark stained wood beams in our ceiling. Then he painted the entire room, bringing our dark, dated living room into the 21st century! There was a lot of work involved in this project, mostly prep work. I don't consider this a typical single room paint job.
