Classic Comfort did an outsanding job of replacing my old heat pump with a new more efficient Trane unit. Kevin, the salesman, was knowledgable and helpful. He was able to find a unit that fit my needs, pointed out some flaws in my original set up that should be fixed and his estimate to do all of it was $1200 less than than the "premiere" insallers with the fancy graphics on their vans. Tony and his installation crew were courteous, clean and efficient. They answered all of my questions and had no problem with me checking up on their progress and explaining what they were doing. The heat pump was installed into my original duct work and was completed in 1 day. They also cleaned up everything before they left. I can't say enough good things about Classic Comfort.

I used a coupon from REACH magazine and they were easy to schedule and prompt. I gave a B however because they finished tuneup in 20 minutes so not sure they did everything you are supposed to do. Did not appear to run A/C and did not check air filters.

They are extremely professional and very good. They clean up. They are careful when they come in the house. They are very polite and very well educated people. These are top notch professionals. They are always on time. I continue to use them. I have a contract with them and I renew it every year. To change the unit they did it in one day. They do a great job. They do only one thing. They do HVAC and they do it well.

I did not find them on Angie's List. I paid the general contractor, I don't know how much the sub contractor was. I don't know how much I paid. It took a week for the service to be completed. Nothing stood out that could be improved.

The sales rep was very thorough in giving us all our options regarding repair or replace. We decided to go with one of the more expensive units, but he wasn't pushy at all. They arrived as scheduled and completed the work quickly. I have no qualms about Classic Comfort. However, we also paid extra for extra insulation in the attic. They contract this work out to another company. That company did a much less impressive job. We actually went out and bought insulation ourselves to supplement their work. My advice is to go with Classic Comfort, but don't buy the extra insulation. You can likely DIY.

I called Classic Comfort due to the fact that the downstairs a/c was not working. The phones were quite busy in the morning when I called so I did have a hard time trying to get to speak with someone. As you can imagine, the weather just broke into the 80's and a lot of people (including myself) were turning on their a/c for the first time this year. I was told that they would be out between 2 and 6pm the same day I called. I received a phone call from the office about 6:30pm saying that the technician would be there in about 1/2 hour. The technician did arrive as stated, he was very professional and courteous and was looking at the thermostat and the a/c unit itself before looking at the furnace since he originally thought the capacitor went bad (I had it replaced about two years ago). When he told me about the wire connected to the furnace being bad, I told him that Classic Comfort came out about two months ago to replace the downstairs heating unit and replace/reinsulate ductwork, that I shouldn't have to pay for the wire. The technician agreed and charged me only for the service call: originally 75 dollars but I had a coupon. I am pleased that it didn't cost a lot of money to fix another issue with my home.

I called Classic Comfort because I used them many years ago when I had an extended home warranty so I was familiar with their work. Downstairs heater was not working; called and within an hour they were at my house. Told me that I needed a new ignition and fan motor. Came out a couple of days later (when I was available) and was told that the heat exchange was bad and the whole unit had to be replaced in addition to having duct work re-insulated in my crawl space underneath the house. Came out the following week to perform work which took the entire day. Kevin, Mike, and everybody else was knowledgeable, friendly, and performed work with care and detail. Furthermore, fixed t-square pipe to reattach to wall to prevent heat from coming out. Waived service fee ($85 value) due to the misdiagnosis of the cause of the heater not working and installed two thermostats at no charge ($80 value). I was pleased that the heater and insulation was fixed for the long-term to avoid any recurring issues.

They handled our issue very professionally and promptly. I was very pleased with the people they sent to do the work. I am very happy with them and will continue to use them. I would recommend to anyone. I would give them an A+.

The replacement went better than expected. They had the old unit out and the new unit in about 5 hours. The new system, Carrier, is a lot quieter and more efficient than my old unit. My electric bills are noticeably lower. Plus, after 6 months, they called me to come back out to check the system over. Could not be happier.

Kevin was great working with him to figure out what was wrong with our air, found out is was mostly due to air flow of ducts which were designed really poorly by builder 8 yrs ago. Instead of replacing the entire system (which two other HVAC companies said we had to do for around $7k to $13k), he suggested reworking the ducts and fixing the zoning system to work properly. Couldn't have been happier with performance of the system as the weather has suddenly turned very warm for March! Would use these guys any day of the week versus some of the other HVAC companies around town.

It was the first time I had used them, they are a small company. They paid attention to detail, and are very good with my 2 systems. I would recommend them. They weren't the highest or the lowest bid.

They gave a quote promptly and it was substantially less than a competitor. The arrived on time and performed the work efficiently and were done when they had estimated they would be even though there was a small installation difficulty. Cleaned up the work area nicely.

We noticed our A/C was not cooling on the very morning we were leaving on a trip. We called Classic Comfort when they opened at 8 and were told a serviceman would be there between 11 and 1PM. He was there early. Our coils were frozen over. Normally, he would have turned the unit off and come back much later when the coils were defrosted (or so he said), but he stayed and aggressively worked to defrost the unit. He added refrigerant, cleaned the inside of the unit (cat hair had clogged the coils), and left only when the unit was back on and he could confirm that the temperature was dropping. We felt we got extraordinary service, given that we were worried we not be able to leave for our trip when we wanted and the temperatures in the house and outside were stifling. The only thing we didn't like was a follow-up call we made to the office before the serviceman arrived. We reported that we had noticed the coils freezing. The dispatcher/office person told us that the serviceman and quot;probably wouldn't be able to fix it today.and quot; That was not what we wanted to hear thought the comment was unwarranted without the serviceman assessing the situation. We just wanted to report something before the serviceman arrived, in case the information would help him.

Their work was A+. They were good. Their performance was excellent. They knew what they were doing. They were very professional. I would definitely use their services in the future too. In fact, I have signed a maintenance contract with them to come out twice a year. I was very impressed with not only their price, but also their performance.

They had actually installed my system several years ago. They are always prompt and courteous. I always get the same technician, and he is very knowledgeable. I think their price is very competitive. I would use them again in the future.

Overall, the experience is okay. Their heating and a/c work is excellent, but there were some issues with the duct work. However, they were responsive with those issues. The installation and replacement process was excellent. Their prices are reasonable.

Downstairs heat pump stopped cooling. Classic comfort was able to replace it with more efficient unit and air handler within 24 hours. They left all work areas clean, removed all old stuff and trash. They installed new digital programmable thermostat inside and gave my very easy, clear instructions in how to use it. Two weeks later -- the upstairs heat pump stopped working! (house is 18 years old!). I called again and they did the same thing again upstairs and in attic. Every thing has worked great! There was small problem with the platform becoming tilted and one heat pump was not level in 2009. They came out and fixed the problem - no charge. Before starting work, they measured house, etc. and gave recommendations regarding the ideal size heat pump for our house.

They did an excellent job overall. I was very happy with their service. They had excellent quality.

I do have a contract with Classic Comfort. They actually provide this service for me two times a year. The agreement fee for this service is $145. However, I only pay $110 because that is what the web site said so they charged me that fee. They are good and I have no complaints with them at all. If I got a problem, they will come out as soon as I call them.
