They showed up a couple of minutes early and three workers went right at it. I was promised 2 and got 3-that was a bonus. At the end ,I pointed out a couple of small areas they missed and were immediatly attended to.

It was rather difficult to set up the cleaning date, but once that was resolved the staff showed up on time and conducted themselves in a professional manner. They did a great job with the bathrooms, but the rest of the house was lacking. None of the shelves above 4ft were cleaned. I found leftover tupperware lids, dead bugs, dried food and silverware on the upper shelves. The shelves in the closets still had dust and dog hair from the previous owners as well. None of the panelling, base boards, crown molding, lighting fixtures, or fans were cleaned for dust and cobwebs. The oven was not cleaned and old food was found inside along with the plastic still attached on the inside of the oven door. The backsplash area on the walls were still greasy/dirty as well. The range and the refrigerator looked good, but also practically brand new. I could see that the carpeted floors had been vacuumed but the wood floors remained untouched. I would've expected that 3 people would have been able to do a better job during the time they were there. I had to spend an entire day cleaning when I should've been moving into our new place. I'm not sure if the staff was rushed in cleaning as the original requested date was not available and I was squeezed in among other scheduled cleanings and this is not indicative of their usual quality of service. I would be hesitant to use this provider again would recommend using someone else.

They did an excellent job, and I have no problems with their services. I would definitely recommend them.

Three guys came out to clean and one guy came out to direct everything. They were good and they were fast.

I have been using this service for over a year now. They have done overall a good job on cleaning. They leave the house generally cleaner and smelling good. My husband has been commenting though in the last few months that the quality of cleaning hasn't been very good lately and upon further inspection, it seems that they were not as meticulous at all. They are supposed to clean the blinds which I find are still dusty and I find other areas of the house to be dusty/dirty as well. The worst thing is the scheduling. They have been moving our schedule around and either showing up early or late for the appointment, without even giving a courtesy call or text for warning. The last straw was when they didn't show up for the appointment after re-scheduling a missed appointment where they were over an hour late.

First off, it was a hassle to try and get them scheduled, and the lied multiple times. When I tried to originally schedule it I said Thursday or Friday. They never called to give me a date or time, they just showed up one day without letting me know when, and I was walking out the door. We obviously had to reschedule it, and then they just didn't show up on the day we had rescheduled it for. They said they were in a car accident. Then we rescheduled a second time. I knew they were coming so I was out in the yard cleaning the yard up earlier that day. They said they called to confirm they were coming, but since I was outside I didn't answer the phone and they assumed I wasn't home and just didn't show up again. Finally we agreed on a new day at 8 am, and they didn't end up showing up until 11. After going back and reading some of the reviews, I noticed that some of the same excuses they used on me, they used other on other customers too, like the car accident. When the guy finally came in the door, I said I needed under the bed cleaned, and everything swept and straightened up. I informed them to throw obvious garbabe to away, but to keep any papers that were on the floor, as I am in a wheelchair, and often drop things. They just threw everything away, and now the garbage truck is coming today and I obviously can't go through the trash now to find out if there are any important papers in there. They also didn't sweep under any of the beds or move any furniture and sweep behind them like they originally said they would do. I also said that I wanted the bedrooms just straightened up and they acted like they didnt understand me. I eventually told them nevermind. I wanted my back porch sweep and striaghtened up. All they did was take some boxes out, it wasn't swept, nothing else done to it. The dining room would have been exactly the same as before they got here if I hadn't started pulling stuff out. Instead of mopping, they just put a dirty rag in a bucket and got on their hands and knees and wiped the floor down. Only one countertop was done in the kitchen. They didn't touch the fridge, or the rest of the counter tops. They did wipe down the stove and that was about it. The only thing I am happy with is the bathrooms, but even in there they didn't move things around to sweep. They also used my own pine sol and then watered it down with so much water it isn't even the same color anymore. It was a very unsatisfactory job. Things weren't cleaned very well. I will never ever use them again.

Hi-I actually purchased a living social deal for this company for $99 for cleaning of a house up to 2500 sq ft. I chose this company as there are many home cleaning services out there, but when I went to their website to see what services were offered with a cleaning, what they listed was very thorough and aligned with my level of clean. However, I was very disappointed with their actual service. After some scheduling glitches, the crew arrived (I believe there were 3) to clean my 1850 sq ft home and they did it in an hour. Now, my understanding is that to do a good, thorough job, you need at least 3-4hours with a 3-4 person crew. I have three and a half baths and all hard wood floors. I wanted them to clean all the rooms as indicated on their site e.g. cleaning baseboards, under furniture, dusting etc. The bathrooms and kitchen appliances were done ok, but there was still dust on the furniture where they'd dusted around pictures etc, they didn't vaccumm the sofas, there were still spots on the floors they'd missed, and the baseboards were still dirty. I did bring this to their attention and they did come back out to try and address the issue (after I said I was on Angie's List) which I thought was a good customer service practice. When they came back out, they did what I asked and it was better, though they scratched my hardwood floors when they moved my coffee table (not happy about that at all, but figure it comes with the territory). I really feel that because I bought a living social deal, the time and effort wasn't given as it would've been if I'd been a regular client, but I really have no real basis for that other than just a hunch. Overall, I just think my expectations and my level of clean is just different from what they offered and performed. It may work for others, just didn't for me.

The company e-mailed for setting up the appointment, which was fine, but the English in the e-mail was a little broken. We established the when and where they were to come, and what I wanted done. The deal was for up to 1600 sq. feet, and our hous is only 1200. The crew called at the time they were supposed to show up, saying that they had gone to my place of business, I had moved from, a month befor I made the appointment for theses services, so they were about 1/2 an hour late coming. Two young women, who didn't speak English, went to work, cleaning. The one who made the beds, did a terrible job of it, sheets as use on one bed, and simply folded and laid across another. None of the window sills or base boards were dusted. The other basic cleaning Wes done fine, in the kitchen and bathrooms. I didn't have high expectations for the price, but They would have needed to do a lot better job for me to use them again or to reccommend them to anyone. Lastly, they were in a mad hurry to finish, and we're out of the house in an hour and a half.

This was a great Big Deal. Scheduling was easy. They showed up on time and did a very thorough job. Nice work!

Everything with them has been great. It was easy to book an appt, they were willing to work on a Saturday for my move out cleaning, and we found a good time for their cleaning every 2 weeks. They are easy to communicate with for changes to appointments, allowing me to just text them if I need to change anything, which is helpful as I don't always have the time to make a phone call during business hours. The ladies who clean are very good, and Henry, the manager came with the first time to see what needed to be done, discuss the services, and the price. We are very happy with their work! Also, they don't list NE DC as a service area, but they didn't have any problem coming out here.

It went well. They were very prompt. I was happy with them.

A manager comes with the ladies, (unbeknownst to me). He wants you to tell him any special instrx you have. Not knowing that I needed a list of items for this manager I was not ready, with the exception to tell them what rooms to do. I figured when I thought of something I'd let the the ladies know. Unfortunately they speak NO ENGLISH. I don't mean broken English, I mean absolutely NONE. The manager doesn't tell you this and he is long gone when you need to instruct the ladies. He doesn't leave you a way to reach him and he doesn't check back. As a result of this frustrating experience I would not use this firm again.

The good: The people at the company are friendly enough and they were able to do a Saturday cleaning for me. A crew of 2 showed up on time and were very quick. I also liked that they make the beds. They got into every nook and cranny and overall did a good job. They cleaned the vents in the bathrooms, which a lot of services forget to do. The bad: The tub in the master bathroom had some hairs in it, and there were still some left even after I asked them (as politely as possible) to go back over it. Since they weren't the friendliest bunch, I decided to just leave it alone since they grumbled a bit about my remark. I don't need to be best friends with them, but I don't think I should have to be afraid to make a reasonable request. I may give them a shot if they send a different crew next time. But since there's a lot of other services out there, I think I'll try a few more before I schedule one for regular cleanings. Just a side note about the $80 for 4 hours of cleaning deal--this is my fault for not reading the fine print, but 4 hours means 4 labor hours. So since there were 2 crew members that finished in 2 hours, that's 2 hours per person for a total of 4 hours. I was thinking since they only took 2 hours I'd be able to get another session, but that's not how they define it. I don't get my house cleaned too often so maybe that was just my own ignorance, but make sure you read the fine print on deals like this.

This was my first cleaning with this company. Overall it went very well. The manager came with 3 ladies. He was the one translating what needed to be done. While the ladies were cleaning, I had a talk with the manager. He did explained the schedule of work. What will be done, what I can get for the cost. I thought that was really nice to have somebody to come for the first time and make everything cleared. Overall, the cleaning was fast. Compare to most of the cleaners, I did not have to wait all morning home. Everything was cleaned to my satisfaction.

Purchased from one of Angie's Big Deals. Work was ok, nothing spectacular, but they ruined the paint in my master bath with cleaning solution slash.

They were great! The owner came out with the crew to get acquainted and he walked through with me to understand my expectations and gave the crew directions before he left.

Real Touch Maids sent 4 cleaning professionals and a supervisor to my home. They arrived on time and prepared. The women were very polite and professional but had limited English. The cleaners were very fast, but thorough--making crannies I didn't know about spotless and returning my 4 year old stove to near mint condition. I dealt with house clutter and personal belongings before they arrived. The supervisor checked in before he ladies left to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I was 100 percent satisfied and I have two large dogs and a 7 year old=very dirty house. I would recommend RTM to friends and neighbors and hope to use their services again. I suggest communicating with the company by email. Initially, I tried calling twice and no one could speak with me. Once I sent an email, it was answered quickly and all subsequent email communications were efficient and professional.

Overall, they worked well and finished in the allotted time. However, after they left, I discovered that they had not washed the laundry room floor. Otherwise they did an OK job.

This company did an outstanding job. I was very satisfied and happy with their service. Henry is the supervisor that organizes the cleaning crew. He's good at his job and very professional. No complaints at all from me. I highly recommend them. I will be a repeat customer. Jerry

They did an average job. They missed a lot of detail. The guy said they would clean my wood floor but they just vacuumed it. I had to get him out of the car for them to do it and I think they used my cleaner. They didn't pay attention to some of the details.

Original service was scheduled for 3/6 but due to the snowstorm that hit the DC area, Wendy emailed me and said they would need to reschedule. They wanted to come out on Saturday but I explained to Wendy that I was expecting out of town guests Friday afternoon and that I really hoped they could get out sooner. She squeezed me in on the schedule for 8 a.m. on 3/7. The crew (3 ladies) arrived on time along with Henry. I walked through the house with Henry pointing out what areas I needed to be done and he relayed all the information to the ladies and then left them to do their thing. They jumped right in immediately and wasted no time getting the job done. They did an amazing job. Their attention to detail was remarkable. The ladies were exceptionally professional and also I might add, very tolerant of my 3 small pesky dogs. I will definitely have them back to clean for me again. I highly recommend Henry, Wendy and their crews for all your cleaning needs.

Do to my career, I have had experience with a number of cleaning companies, including move-in/move-out cleaning jobs, bi-weekly cleaning and monthly cleaning. Beyond floors, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, there are little things like baseboards being dusted, light fixtures being cleaned, etc.? Without prompting or instructions, Real Touch Maids already tackled my very messy house with precision. I inspected after the service and was tickled pink. I think the true sign of their professional manner was there were only 2 crew members but they moved through the house with purpose and in harmony. There is not ONE spot or location where I wasn't pleased. Fabulous service and a true find!

The team showed up on time and finished on time. Nice job overall.

Went fantastic. I only wanted certain rooms to clean, but since I paid for 4 hours, they did the whole house anyways.
