Real Touch Maids

They were wonderful. They were extremely thorough. They listened to what I wanted done and they did it. They were good to work around my 9 children.

The cleaners stared upstairs. They did a nice job on the obvious, eye-level parts of the house. Surfaces were wiped off and dusted but the details were skipped. The back of a round lamp was left dusty. The base of the TV was not dusted. Only the large surfaces of furniture or counters were cleaned, not any items sitting on them. Every sink in the house has a soap dispenser. None of them were wiped off. Knick knacks that had to be moved, were carelessly left to one side of tables. In one bedroom, when the sheets were changed, the mattress pad must have partially come off. It was not put back on. The sheet was just put on top of it. The Big Deal included cleaning the inside of the refrigerator. They did not know this and I had to mention it to have it done. It also included cleaning base boards. None of them were done. The cleaners were polite and pleasant. They asked me if there was anything else before they left. As I mentioned, they eye-level areas were cleaned. They left vacuum marks on the back of the couch. But once they left, it was easy to tell that they just did enough to get by. I purchased a deep cleaning and that is not what they did.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for $79 (two girls for 2-3 hours of and quot;deep cleaningand quot;) because I had family coming to stay for a week and didn't have time to clean it myself. Since the last crew left early because my house is so clean, I assumed I would finally be able to have things like windows cleaned in order to fill up the 6 hours promised and paid for. The crew arrived on time but Wendy told me there would be three of them for 1 1/2 hours (only 4.5 hours) so I was a little annoyed. Although they immediately began to work, it was apparent early on that their lack of attention to detail and slow pace would eventually be a problem. It took WAY TOO LONG to clean the bathrooms. The girl working downstairs spilled window cleaner on the floor and even though I stood over her waiting for her to recognize that I saw it, she did nothing. She did not wipe the top of the microwave nor the backsplash of the counter. Upstairs, it seems that the my son's dresser and one nightstand did not warrant being dusted, and most windows and mouldings in the house were not cleaned as promised. As the hour of their scheduled departure neared, it was obvious they would not make it out the door with everything done, so they kicked it into overdrive. At that point, they still hadn't vacuumed the steps going to the basement! As the Wendy was rushing the girls to finish and get in the car, she asked if everything was OK. I had to ask her to vacuum the living room which should have been done by the girl who spilled the window cleaner. She insisted it was already done, so I pointed out the crumbs, but waited to see if she'd notice the big spill, but since she was rushing, she did not. It wasn't until after they left that I realized not all the fans were cleaned. Although the girls tried hard, it was apparent they were not accustomed to this work because Wendy seemed to have to give lots of instruction. If you want a quick, cheap cleaning, this is the service for you. You get what you pay for

Contact and setup was easy. Maids arrived on time. No English spoken, no problem as we speak Spanish. Explained what we wanted cleaned, multiple times, but the cleaning was very cursory in nature. For the price, it is hard to complain, but again, for the price, I expected more too.

I ordered an angie's list deal and hired them to clean two properties I own. They did a good, thorough job on both, were very responsive, on time and worked quickly. I would recommend them/use them again.

The two women were delivered by a gentleman on time. He spoke English but neither of the women did, or at least admitted to speaking English. The guy left and so did my bridge into their world and their's into mine. My attempt to use a google translator was futile and I quickly gave up. So, communication was impossible which might not have been a bad thing if they'd done a great job. Things I wanted clean weren't, it was comical to what them try to clean a rough slate floor with a towel instead of the mop I had for that job but what can you do with and quot;no Englishand quot; light fixtures not clean, ceiling fans not clean, floors half done. .

they did a good job, were punctual, and very speedy. I'm considering using them on a regular basis.

The gentleman who arrived to clean the carpets was right on time, kind, and very professional. The work he did was good and he left instructions on how to care for the work. The dispatchers were somewhat indifferent however, I felt. I had to call more than once to verify what was going to happen. The higher cost I paid was due to an add on service (f;ea/tick treatment)...interestingly nearly exactly what I was supposed to save. Hmmm....

Setting up the appointment was easy, even though I kept changing the times and dates initially! Everyone was kind and helpful. The crew showed up on time and thoroughly cleaned the place, bringing their own cleaning supplies. They even cleaned the ceiling light fixtures!

They arrived on time and did a great job in cleaning the house including the oven and refrigerator. I highly recommended them for their professionalism and the quality of work.

I purchased this deal for myself and my daughter in law. They did a very nice job in both homes.

It didn't go very well. The people were nice, but the actual work was not good. It wasn't even really a regular cleaning, much less a deep cleaning. They didn't do a thorough job, and didn't stay for the full time allotted. For example, neither the soap dish nor the toothbrush holder on the bathroom sink were wiped down, the base boards were not dusted, and the ceiling fans were not cleaned. Throughout the house, the carpets were vacuumed just fine, but the tile floors were not clean. Before they began, I asked for special attention to the kitchen floors and they barely got a cursory mopping. (I found spots on it after they left that i wiped up easily with a sponge.) I was really disappointed.

Update (regular cleaning service) Real Touch did a wonderful job today and deserve an 'A' in every category. I had one mediocre experience with Real Touch and decided not to have them come by again. I realize now I should have emailed Wendy (who is always very responsive) about my concerns and they would have made everything right the next time. I just want a good job the first time, and this is what I got today. I checked the cleaningafter the cleaners left and I have no complaints. I plan to continue having a Real Touch come by on a biweekly basis. Original Review I scheduled the service because it takes me about 6 hours to clean my house and I just don't want to spend my time that way anymore. I should add that I was nervous having someone come over since I tend to be very particular about cleaning. I should not have been nervous, however, because it went great. Real Touch Maids did everything that I listed above. The ladies did an excellent job and did more than I expected as they cleaned my front door and even the inside of my toaster oven! They also emptied all the trash and took it outside to the bin. I was so impressed with the service I have decided to have the ladies come regularly. As others have noted the cleaners do not speak much English. But, they definitely know what they are doing so I did not need to instruct them or converse with them otherwise. If they have a question they ask, and I did not have a problem understanding them. They bring all their own equipment and cleaners and work very efficiently. I scheduled the service over email and that was great for me. Wendy at Real Touch is very quick to reply to emails and Henry who is the manager that accompanied the women let me know that anytime I would like something extra done I can just email Wendy before my regular cleaning and they will take care of it. My only wish is that I hired this service sooner! It is really going to make life easier for me. I am very happy with Real Touch.

It went very well. There were a couple of things I wasn't happy about but they came back and did a great job. Nice crew.

It very well. They arrived on time, were very organized and immediately went to work. They were very efficient and the whole job took about an hour. I do have a small house. They cleaned things that some house cleaners do not do such as baseboards, pulling up rugs, windows, etc... They were very nice.

I purchased a Big Deal at $149.00 for Cleaning of Homes up to 4,000 square feet. I called and set up the appointment for today (6/15/2013) between 12n-1pm. I have to drive over 1 hour to get here to the new home we are moving to which is why I had purchased this Big Deal because we wanted the home cleaned before we moved in. I have talked to them at least 3 times to confirm between them calling me and myself calling them to confirm. I have emails to show that we had discussed, set up appointment, and confirmed the date and time. I've been waiting on them and shortly after 1p no one had yet to show up. I called him and he informed me that there was no one available to come out and clean. He wasn't even apologetic or sorry about this. He did say maybe he could squeeze me in around 3 or so possibly. I told him I cannot do that because my daughter is having her graduation party this evening and I have to be there to help out. I do not want them to perform the services at all now, this is not professional by no means.

The cleaning crew arrived on time and the lead person asked me to show them around. I let them know what needed to be cleaned and the other rooms that were not to be cleaned, we closed the doors. They also asked if there was any special cleaning that needed to be done or if I used a special cleaner on items. There was a gentleman there, but I'm not sure what his role was. The ladies started upstairs and worked their way down to the basement area. They vacuumed, mopped floors, dusted, washed dishes and left the house smelling very good. It is quite a large house with very high ceilings, but they did an excellent job. Afterwards, I walked through the house before they left. Everything looked great. I would hire them again.

I was impressed that I could get on the schedule when I wanted to, that they showed up precisely on time, and they did a good job for a very reasonable price. I hired them back for bimonthly cleanings!

They sent a crew of three very pleasant young ladies with all the cleaning supplies needed to do the job. I cannot praise them enough. They worked at a deliberate pace for two hours, never stopping for one second. They had an efficient system going. As a divorced man living with a shedding dog, my house was pretty dirty. I have 3 of my kids and grandson coming to visit and the house needed a drastic cleaning. My kitchen stove top and sink are 25 years old and were so dirty that I was thinking of replacing them. I don't know how they did it but now they look brand new. They cleaned anything and everything that could be cleaned. I will definitely be using this company again. I purchased this deal for my neighbor whose spouse had recently passed. They did a great job with the cleaning, were very responsive and sensitive to the issue. They were flexible with her time given the circumstance. She greatly appreciated it and so did I.

The workers always show up on time and do a good cleaning the house

All surfaces look and feel clean, bathrooms completely clean. Inspection of out of direct sight items also turned out to be very good.

I called to schedule the appointment after I bought a Big Deal from Angie's List. I really needed to get my townhouse clean, and I could never find the time to get everything done. This is the first time ever I have used a housecleaning service, so I was naturally a little hesitant and, honestly, embarrassed to have somebody see my mess. They were to arrive between 2 and 4pm. However, I was called at 3:55pm and told they were running late and they asked if I still wanted them to come. I was a little annoyed, as my son was visiting and it was his birthday, but I really wanted to get the house clean. . .so I told them to come, and Wendy and 3 others arrived around 5:00pm. I was expecting one or two people, but there were 4 people. I showed them around, and they started immediately. They worked SO hard. My bathrooms are the cleanest they have ever been. My kitchen was sparkling. Who knew my stove could look so shiny?! They took everything off my counters and cleaned it all. They even cleaned a pan that I hadn't washed yet. In the rooms, they removed knicknacks and dusted them all, replacing them all. I had one guest bed that didn't have sheets on it, and I had a bunch of stuff laying on it, not realizing I had clean sheets sitting there. They made the bed without me asking! I noticed people wrote on reviews that they didn't speak English, but that didn't bother me at all. When I asked something, they would just have Wendy answer. They were all polite and very nice, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would have given an and quot;Aand quot; for all categories, but they were late. I definitely would hire them again. In a nutshell, my house is the cleanest I think it has ever been, and I am thoroughly satisfied. Thank you!
